Demons Never Surrender to Krishna

Those miscreants who are grossly foolish, lowest among mankind, whose knowledge is stolen by illusion, and who partake of the atheistic nature of demons, do not surrender unto Me. (Bg. 7.15)

It is said in Bhagavad-gita that simply by surrendering oneself unto the lotus feet of the Supreme Personality Krishna, one can surmount the stringent laws of material nature. At this point a question arises: How is it that educated philosophers, scientists, businessmen, administrators and all the leaders of ordinary men do not surrender to the lotus feet of Sri Krishna, the all-powerful Personality of Godhead? Mukti, or liberation from the laws of material nature, is sought by the leaders of mankind in different ways and with great plans and perseverance for a great many years and births. But if that liberation is possible by simply surrendering unto the lotus feet of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, then why don’t these intelligent and hard-working leaders adopt this simple method?

The Gita answers this question very frankly. Those really learned leaders of society like Brahma, Siva, Kapila, the Kumaras, Manu, Vyasa, Devala, Asita, Janaka, Prahlada, Bali, and later on Madhvacarya, Ramanujacarya, Sri Caitanya and many others–who are faithful philosophers, politicians, educators, scientists, etc.–surrender to the lotus feet of the Supreme Person, the all-powerful authority. Those who are not actually philosophers, scientists, educators, administrators, etc., but who pose themselves as such for material gain, do not accept the plan or path of the Supreme Lord. They have no idea of God; they simply manufacture their own worldly plans and consequently complicate the problems of material existence in their vain attempts to solve them. Because material energy (nature) is so powerful, it can resist the unauthorized plans of the atheists and baffle the knowledge of “planning commissions.”

The atheistic plan-makers are described herein by the word duskrtinah, or “miscreants.” Krtina means one who has performed meritorious work. The atheist planmaker is sometimes very intelligent and meritorious also, because any gigantic plan, good or bad, must take intelligence to execute. But because the atheist’s brain is improperly utilized in opposing the plan of the Supreme Lord, the atheistic planmaker is called duskrtina, which indicates that his intelligence and efforts are misdirected.

In the Gita it is clearly mentioned that material energy works fully under the direction of the Supreme Lord. It has no independent authority. It works as the shadow moves, in accordance with the movements of the object. But still material energy is very powerful, and the atheist, due to his godless temperament, cannot know how it works; nor can he know the plan of the Supreme Lord. Under illusion and the modes of passion and ignorance, all his plans are baffled, as in the case of Hiranyakasipu and Ravana, whose plans were smashed to dust although they were both materially learned as scientists, philosophers, administrators and educators. These duskrtinas, or miscreants, are of four different patterns, as outlined below:

(1) The mudhas are those who are grossly foolish, like hard-working beasts of burden. They want to enjoy the fruits of their labor by themselves, and so do not want to part with them for the Supreme. The typical example of the beast of burden is the ass. This humble beast is made to work very hard by his master. The ass does not really know for whom he works so hard day and night. He remains satisfied by filling his stomach with a bundle of grass, sleeping for a while under fear of being beaten by his master, and satisfying his sex appetite at the risk of being repeatedly kicked by the opposite party. The ass sings poetry and philosophy sometimes, but this braying only disturbs others. This is the position of the foolish fruitive worker who does not know for whom he should work. He does not know that karma (action) is meant for yajna (sacrifice).

Most often, those who work very hard day and night to clear the burden of self-created duties say that they have no time to hear of the immortality of the living being. To such mudhas, material gains, which are destructible, are life’s all in all–despite the fact that the mudhas enjoy only a very small fraction of the fruit of labor. Sometimes they spend sleepless days and nights for fruitive gain, and although they may have ulcers or indigestion, they are satisfied with practically no food; they are simply absorbed in working hard day and night for the benefit of illusory masters. Ignorant of their real master, the foolish workers waste their valuable time serving mammon. Unfortunately, they never surrender to the supreme master of all masters, nor do they take time to hear of Him from the proper sources. The swine who eat the soil do not care to accept sweetmeats made of sugar and ghee. Similarly, the foolish worker will untiringly continue to hear of the sense-enjoyable tidings of the flickering mundane force that moves the material world.

(2) Another class of duskrtina, or miscreant, is called the naradhama, or the lowest of mankind. Nara means human being, and adhama means the lowest. Out of the 8,400,000 different species of living beings, there are 400,000 human species. Out of these there are numerous lower forms of human life that are mostly uncivilized. The civilized human beings are those who have regulative principles of social, political and religious life. Those who are socially and politically developed, but who have no religious principles, must be considered naradhamas. Nor is religion without God religion, because the purpose of following religious principles is to know the Supreme Truth and man’s relation with Him. In the Gita the Personality of Godhead clearly states that there is no authority above Him and that He is the Supreme Truth. The civilized form of human life is meant for man’s reviving the lost consciousness of his eternal relation with the Supreme Truth, the Personality of Godhead Sri Krishna, who is all-powerful. Whoever loses this chance is classified as a naradhama. We get information from revealed scriptures that when the baby is in the mother’s womb (an extremely uncomfortable situation) he prays to God for deliverance and promises to worship Him alone as soon as he gets out. To pray to God when he is in difficulty is a natural instinct in every living being because he is eternally related with God. But after his deliverance, the child forgets the difficulties of birth and forgets his deliverer also, being influenced by maya, the illusory energy.

It is the duty of the guardians of children to revive the divine consciousness dormant in them. The ten processes of reformatory ceremonies, as enjoined in the Manu-smrti, which is the guide to religious principles, are meant for reviving God consciousness in the system of varnasrama. However, no process is strictly followed now in any part of the world, and therefore 99.9 percent of the population is naradhama.

When the whole population becomes naradhama, naturally all their so-called education is made null and void by the all-powerful energy of physical nature. According to the standard of the Gita, a learned man is he who sees on equal terms the learned brahmana, the dog, the cow, the elephant and the dog-eater. That is the vision of a true devotee. Sri Nityananda Prabhu, who is the incarnation of Godhead as divine master, delivered the typical naradhamas, the brothers Jagai and Madhai, and showed how the mercy of a real devotee is bestowed upon the lowest of mankind. So the naradhama who is condemned by the Personality of Godhead can again revive his spiritual consciousness only by the mercy of a devotee.

Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, in propagating the bhagavata-dharma or activities of the devotees, has recommended that people submissively hear the message of the Personality of Godhead. The essence of this message is Bhagavad-gita. The lowest amongst human beings can be delivered by this submissive hearing process only, but unfortunately they even deny giving an aural reception to these messages, and what to speak of surrendering to the will of the Supreme Lord? Naradhamas, or the lowest of mankind, will fully neglect the prime duty of the human being.

(3) The next class of duskrtina is called mayayapahrta-jnanah, or those persons whose erudite knowledge has been nullified by the influence of illusory material energy. They are mostly very learned fellows–great philosophers, poets, literati, scientists, etc.–but the illusory energy misguides them, and therefore they disobey the Supreme Lord.

There are a great number of mayayapahrta-jnanah at the present moment, even amongst the scholars of the Gita. In the Gita, in plain and simple language, it is stated that Sri Krishna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead. There is none equal to or greater than Him. He is mentioned as the father of Brahma, the original father of all human beings. In fact, Sri Krishna is said to be not only the father of Brahma but also the father of all species of life. He is the root of the impersonal Brahman and Paramatma; the Supersoul in every entity is His plenary portion. He is the fountainhead of everything and everyone is advised to surrender unto His lotus feet. Despite all these clear statements, the mayayapahrta-jnanah deride the personality of the Supreme Lord and consider Him merely another human being. They do not know that the blessed form of human life is designed after the eternal and transcendental feature of the Supreme Lord.

All the unauthorized interpretations of the Gita by the class of mayayapahrta-jnana, outside the purview of the parampara system, are so many stumbling blocks in the path of spiritual understanding. The deluded interpreters do not surrender unto the lotus feet of Sri Krishna, nor do they teach others to follow this principle.

(4) The last class of duskrtina is called asuram bhavam asritah, or those of demonic principles. This class is openly atheistic. Some of them argue that the Supreme Lord can never descend upon this material world, but they are unable to give any tangible reasons as to why not. There are others who make Him subordinate to the impersonal feature, although the opposite is declared in the Gita. Envious of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, the atheist will present a number of illicit incarnations manufactured in the factory of his brain. Such persons whose very principle of life is to decry the Personality of Godhead cannot surrender unto the lotus feet of Sri Krishna.

Sri Yamunacarya Albandaru of South India said, “O my Lord! You are unknowable to persons involved with atheistic principles despite Your uncommon qualities, features, and activities and despite Your personality being confirmed by all the revealed scriptures in the quality of goodness, and despite Your being acknowledged by the famous authorities renowned for their depth of knowledge in the transcendental science and situated in the godly qualities.”

Therefore, (1) grossly foolish persons, (2) the lowest of mankind, (3) the deluded speculators, and (4) the professed atheists, as above mentioned, never surrender unto the lotus feet of the Personality of Godhead in spite of all scriptural and authoritative advice.

Aloha; Somewhere in the audio recordings you will find Srila Prabhupada describing Krishna`s purposes for appearing as Lord Chaitanya. Srila Prabhupada tells there the reason of Krishna was thinking to Himself about this verse Bhagavad Gita 7:15. Krishna thought how these people literally are never able to surrender to Him. So then He thought that in the form of Lord Chaitanya , He must capture some of them and return them Back2Godhead.
In 1977@the L.A. Temple, the head of the BBT, Rameshwara Swami, would sometimes relate in Srimad Bhagavatam class that Srila Prabhupada told him~
“Anyone who does anything for the BBT, I will take them Back2Godhead in this life!”

I don’t t understand. You say that demons never surrender to Krsna, but there are stories in the vedas and bible of big demons who have surrendered to Krsna or God. Surely we were all demonic at one time but have changed and have begun a spiritual life.

    • Hare Krishna Linda

Which big demons in the Vedas surrendered to Krishna? Demons don’t surrender to Krishna, that is not their nature. They get killed by Krishna.

Wasnt Arjamila a demon and while he was dying he called his son Nariyana, and because of the power of calling this name (which was one of the names of God) the yamadutas were ordered to leave his soul in his body and not take him to hell. He didnt die and went on to become a very saintly man. Also the demonic king in the biblical story of Daniel in the lions den was converted after he witnessed God closing the mouths of the lions and not eating Daniel. I know that demons are changed when krsna kills them due to his association so are the ones I have mentioned in a different capacity from the ones who will never surrender until they are killed by Krsna? Thankyou for your emails Madhudvisa. You are very good servant of Krsna. Hare Krsna

        • Demons are saved when they are killed by Krishna.

Ajamila was a devotee actually of Lord Narayana in his youth and fell down due to bad association. So he was a fallen devotee. A fallen devotee is not a demon. And any spiritual advancement a devotee has made is never lost. It was by the mercy of Naryana and because he was a devotee that he was able to chant the name of Narayana at the time of his death.

As far as the Bible we can not say. That is not an authoritative book in the sense that nothing was actually written by Lord Jesus Christ and everything was written by the followers more than 30 years after Jesus had died. The Bible would be something like what would be written by the followers of Srila Prabhupada now if nothing that Prabhupada said was recorded and he did not write any books… The Bible is like that. Unauthorized and contradictory. So we can not take it as evidence.

Demons do not surrender to Krishna, that is not their nature. They get killed by Krishna and that is a great blessing for them. If someone surrenders to Krishna he is not a demon.

Most people who are acting like demons are not demons. People act according to their association. So if their association is demonic they act like demons. But if there association is devotees they act like devotees. But there are some real hard-core demons who will always act like demons…

          • Linda Ward says:

I mentioned a story to you about Daniel in the lions den and the conversion of the king after this event. This story happened in the old testament which was written many years before the birth of Jesus, not in Jesus time on earth. I think in Krsna consciousness it is good to have some knowledge of other scripture because if read with discernment there are many stories that are similar to stories in vedas. Prabhupada often mentioned the bible in his preaching and having some knowledge of the bible and other scripture can enhance ones preaching on the subject of Krsna and clarify things with people who are wanting to learn more about God.

          • Hare Krishna Linda

Yes. But we are brought up in Christian countries and we already have some knowledge of the Bible. It is not necessary to study the Bible any more. Whatever we already know that is enough. On the other hand Srila Prabhupada has given us so many wonderful books, we need to spend our time and energy studying Srila Prabhupada’s books.

Great to hear from you and wonderful to hear you are improving bit by bit. Actual Krishna has sent us Srila Prabhupada and he has written everything we need in his books. • Hare Krishna!

Actually it is Kali-yuga, and just the beginning of Kali-yuga. It is going to get a lot worse, not better. So we should all become pure devotees of Krishna by surrendering to Srila Prabhupada and convince everyone else also to chant Hare Krishna and we need to take everyone back home back to Godhead. It is going to get very nasty in the material world as Kali-yuga progresses…

We can not directly surrender to Krishna. We have to find a pure devotee spiritual master and surrender to him and he will guide us how to surrender to Krishna. That is the way.

So I suggest that you read Srila Prabhupada’s books and follow the instructions that you find Srila Prabhupada giving you as you read his books and you will be on the right path to surrendering to Krishna.

  9. Kaustubh says:

    Hare Krishna Prabhu,
My question isn’t strictly related to this article, but only somewhat. I read somewhere on this site that investing money is demonic. Would you please explain how this is so?
My parents are going to invest in my name as well as theirs. I tried to tell them that it is bad, but they just told me I was young, didn’t know much about the world, & that we need the money for my college etc.
I request you to somewhere write a separate article on this. Many, many people seem to think that there is no harm in investing & insurance like life insurance & stuff like that.
    Thank you.

    • Hare Krishna Kaustubh

It is not that business is bad or investment is bad. We have never said investing money is bad. Your parents are correct of course that as a family they will need money in the future so they need to prepare for this. So this is not demonic. It is just good planing. What is bad is gambling, speculation.

Gambling is bad. So investing in the stock market, gambling on the prices of the stocks going up, that may be bad. Gambling is bad. But saving money to cover future needs and emergencies for a householder is not bad. And good investments like land and gold, that is not bad. Householders have to have some investment like this.

As far as insurance, life insurance, etc, these things may be required living in the material world. It is not a perfect ideal world that we live in. So we have to be practical and act to some extent according to the time and the place.

The main things you have to concentrate on are chanting at least 16 rounds of the Hare Krishna mantra every day, strictly following the four regulative principles: no illicit sex, no meat eating, no gambling and no intoxication, and reading Srila Prabhupada’s books at least 1-2 hours a day. If you do these things sincerely then Krishna will give you the intelligence to understand how to deal with living in the material world also.

mayayapahrta-jnanah- I would be grateful if you could elaborate on the below sentence from the article.

“They do not know that the blessed form of human life is designed after the eternal and transcendental feature of the Supreme Lord.”.

    Hare Krishna

    Devang

    • Hare Krishna Prabhu

It is very clear. The demons do not know that man is made in the image of God. Our form is an imitation of Krishna’s form. Everything is the same. Krishna has two arms, we have two arms, Krishna has two legs, we have two legs, etc. All the same. But our spiritual bodies are covered by material bodies. Krishna does not have a material body. Krishna is all spiritual. We are also all-spiritual underneath the temporary covering of the material body. Of course there is a huge difference in quantity between Krishna and ourselves. Krishna is infinite and we are infinitesimal. Krishna is unlimited and we are tiny.

But the human form of life is designed after the eternal and transcendental feature of Supreme Lord [Krishna]. I can not see actually anything confusing about this. It is perfectly clear and really does not need much explanation…

Like how…? I also get this situation sometimes… please give some example also.
    respect
    Hare Krishna
    Hari bol…

    • Hare Krishna Vamshika

There are many innocent people who are just acting like demons because of bad association. We become like the people we associate with. And today predominately all over the world the people are acting like demons. So there is only bad association, so it may seem that there are only demons, no devotees out there. But there are innocent people, who may be acting like demons, the difference is that if you speak to an actual demon about God or Krishna they will get angry. They are totally against Krishna, totally envious of Krishna. So when you find someone like that who gets angry just on the mention of anything connected with Krishna, then he is a demon and there is no point trying to preach to him any more.

But there are many apparently demonic people who you can gradually introduce to Krishna consciousness by giving them prasadam and getting them to read Srila Prabhupada’s books and taking to them about Krishna. So the thing is if you can speak to some apparently demonic person about Krishna and he is interested to hear from you and he is prepared to read something from Prabhupada’s books, etc., then there is a good chance he can become a devotee.

In reality everyone is a devotee. Everyone is Krishna consciousness. Krishna consciousness is everyone’s original consciousness. And the mercy of Lord Caitanya is so great that generally when Krishna comes He kills the demons and protects the devotees. But Lord Caitanya does not kill the demons. Instead Lord Caitanya delivers pure love of God to the demons. That is Lord Caitanya’s mercy. And as we are Lord Caitanya’s movement we have to push on Lord Caitanya’s program of distributing love of God to everyone.

So somehow this Sankirtan movement of Lord Caitanya has the potency to sweep up everyone, including the so-called demons, and have everyone drowning in the ecstasy of Lord Caitanya’s movement.

So do not worry too much about who is a demon and who is a devotee. Just preach to everyone but you have to sense if the person you are preaching to is happy to hear from you about Krishna or not. You can not force Krishna consciousness on someone else. They have to voluntarily accept Krishna consciousness themselves. So we can talk about Krishna, explain Krishna consciousness to them, answer their questions, but they have to decide themselves. So if we can get someone interested in hearing from us about Krishna and he really wants to hear from us then we can go on talking about Krishna to him unlimitedly, even though externally, from his activities, he appears to be a demon.

But if we find someone who does not want to hear from us and to whom the very idea of Krishna or God makes him angry or even violent, then we should not try to preach to such a person. Because he does not want to hear from us. If we speak to him about Krishna that will make him more angry and more offensive towards Krishna and the devotees and that will not be good for anyone. It will not be good for him and it will not be good for us.

So the important thing about Krishna katha is to have someone who can speak authoritatively about Krishna who actually knows the science of Krishna and who is actually strictly following the four regulative principles, who is really chanting at least 16 rounds of the Hare Krishna mantra every day, and who is regularly reading Srila Prabhupada’s books and who is only preaching the things he reads from Prabhupada’s books. And you need someone who will agree to hear and consider what he has to say about Krishna. That is all we need. We need someone who is prepared to hear about Krishna sincerely. If he is prepared to hear about Krishna that is all we care. Because that hearing is very powerful. And if he agrees to hear then gradually he will become a devotee himself and all good qualities will develop in him and he will be a devotee, not a demon…

So we are supposed to awaken the dormant Krishna consciousness that is there in the hearts of everyone, Krishna consciousness is there, even in the hearts of the demons. We just have to find the way to uncover it…

Chant Hare Krishna and be happy!

  15. Bhaktin noushin says:

    Hare krsna prabhu,
    I have 2 questions,
    1) what are the different spesies of human beings out of 400,000 species? I need some examples.
    2) is there any possibility that some day one from these 4groups that mentioned above, can surrender unto the lotus feet of the personality of godhead? If yes, how??

    • Hare Krishna

All the 400,000 different species of human beings are not present on this planet. This 8,400,000 types of bodies for the living entities is for the whole universe. But we have different species here like the Aryans, the Africans, the Mongolian / Chinese people, and there are many different species of Aboriginal people around the world, etc. And you know the anthropologists show us some of the more primitive species that existed on this planet in the past but we do not see now.

So actually we do not see many of the 400,000 species of human bodies on this planet at this time. But the Vedas is universal. It is not just talking about this planet at this time. It is talking about all the planets for all the time…

This human form is common throughout the whole universe. There are humans on so many planets. But different species. With slightly different features and abilities on different planets. In some places they may have four arms instead of two, in some places they may be able to fly in the sky, in some places they may be very ugly, in other places very beautiful. But this basic human form with two legs [generally] two arms, one head, etc, is very common all over the universe. It is because we are made in the image of God, as the Christians say, and that God, or Krishna has this human form. So this human form is everywhere because everywhere they are made in the image of Krishna. But there are different species of the human form in different planets, and also on this planet we find a few different species of humans and some more species we can also find in the fossil record.

    • Hare Krishna Avinash

With all due respect Indians, generally speaking, are totally confused as to what the Vedic texts say. They do not know. There have been so many bogus swamis and yogis and fake avatars preaching in India for so many years that nowadays the general population in India is totally confused when it comes to spirituality. And their television gurus and yogis are similarly confused. It is today in India unfortunately the blind leading the blind.

Of course we live in the age of the cheaters and the cheated. The vast majority of the people want to be cheated. They want a guru who will tell them that they do not have to make any adjustments to their lifestyle. They can go on with all their sinful activities, there are no sins actually, and if a bogus guru can tell his bogus disciples what they want to hear then they will be happy to give him money and everyone is happy. But everyone is going to Hell. That is the problem. This is not just India of course, it is all over the world.

There should be no confusion whatsoever about the birth of Lord Brahma. This is so very clearly explained in the Vedas. It is such a simple thing. How anyone can be confused about this is very strange. The universe is encased in a sphere which is half-full of water. That water was produced from the body of Lord Visnu who is lying on Sesa-Naga on that water. The way the universe was created is that a lotus stem grows from the navel of Lord Visnu and on the top of that lotus stem a beautiful and very enormous lotus flower blooms. It is on the whirl of that lotus flower that Lord Brahma takes his birth. He does not know where he is, and he does not know what is his purpose. He tries to climb down the lotus stem to see where it is coming from but he goes a very long way and does not discover anything and comes back up to the top. So while he is bewildered like this he hears a loud sound “TAPA”. That tapa means austerities. So Lord Brahma started meditating and performing austerities there on the top of the lotus flower. And from within his heart Lord Visnu reveled to him what his purpose was there on the top of that lotus flower and also revealed to Lord Brahma the catur-sloki Bhagavatam. Which is the four seed verses of the Srimad-Bhagavatam from which the whole book has been expanded.

So after this Lord Brahma knew his purpose and he started to construct the various planets and living places and made arrangements for the Sun and the Moon, etc. The Lord Brahama with the help of the progenitors supervised the populating of the universe.

So that is the way Lord Brahma took birth. Lord Brahma is generally an ordinary living entity like yourself or myself. But to be appointed to the post of Lord Brahma one would have to be exceptionally qualified in terms of having performed penances and austerities and obviously has to be a devotee of Visnu, a Vaisnava.

Brahma is not really a particular person’s name. It is a post. Like President is a post. But currently that post is being filled by Obhama. But when he is gone someone else will fill the post of President of the United States. So “Brahma” is a post like the position of President is a post. As the president is an ordinary man from among the people who has some qualification hopefully and is appointed to the post of President, so the post of Lord Brahma is filled by some qualified devotee chosen by Lord Visnu. Sometimes, if there is no qualified devotee available to fill the post of Lord Brahma then Lord Visnu Himself will take the post of Lord Brahma. This is not very common however, and our current Lord Brahma is a devotee, not Lord Visnu. We belong to the Brahma-Madhava-Gaudiya Sampradaya so Lord Brahma is the first member of our parampara or disciplic succession. So he is a devotee, he is our spiritual master.

Dear H G Madhu Dvisa prabhu please accept my humble obeisance.

Moving forward with how Lord Brahma came into being, can you pls throw some light on topics of BIG BANG Theory and Human Evolution that oppose the theory by STEPHEN HAWKING

        HARE KRISHNA

        • Hare Krishna Priya

I have no idea what Stephen Hawking says. Certainly he was not the one who propounded the big bang theory and as I understand it the big bang theory is not at all universally accepted by scientists. There are many dissenting voices on this. It is such an embarrassingly childish idea. We know that Krishna, God, a higher intelligence is behind the workings of the universe. And anyone with half a brain who studies the workings of the universe can see the so-called ‘invisible’ hand of some intelligent direction behind it. This is the obvious and correct explanation of the creation of the universe. That is that the matter has been organized by higher intelligence to form the universe as we see it now.

Now exactly how the higher intelligence formed the universe that is another question. But we have to get the basic principle established. The proponents of the Big Bang Theory claim there is no intelligence and that all the organization that we see around us in the universe resulted out of a random explosion that came out of nowhere, was caused by nothing and no one. And instead of our normal experience of explosions creating disorder, completely out of character, this explosion, the big bang, created order. It is so childish, ridiculous and laughable.

The scientists are so desperate to paint God out of the picture they will resort to these insane theories and the general mass of people are such fools that they just believe what they are told by science. That is the insane world we live in…

There are at least two stages to the creation. Brahma is involved in the secondary creation. Before Lord Brahma takes his birth the universal globes have already been created, Lord Visnu has entered into them and half-filled them with water which emanates from His body and he is lying down on Sesa Naga on that water and then the lotus stem grows from His navel and when the flower forms and blooms on the top of that lotus stem it is only then that Lord Brahma takes his birth. So a significant part of the creation of the universe has already happened before Lord Brahma takes his birth.

So that initial creation has some aspects to it which the scientists may have possibly misinterpreted as a big bang. The initial creation happens when Lord Visnu breathes out. And when He breathes out universes come out of all the pores all over His body in seed form. So they come out very small and expand. So what the scientists call the “big bang” is in fact the outgoing breath of Lord Visnu. And everything will keep on expanding for half the universal time but when Lord Visnu starts breathing in again it will reverse and everything will start to shrink, the opposite of expand, and gradually the universes will again shrink down to seed size and will reenter the body of Lord Visnu, and then when Lord Visnu breathes out the universes will come out again in seed form and expand and then contract.

So in the terms of science it is a big bang and then a big crunch. But the scientists can have no understanding of what is actually going on because it is beyond the ability of their senses to experience these things and beyond the power of their minds to imagine them.

how to make these demoniac persons surrender to Krishna, who are even among our dear family members.

    • Hare Krishna Manoj

Demons do not surrender to Krishna, that is the point. You can not make demons surrender to Krishna. As a preacher we have to differentiate between three different classes of people: the innocent, the devotees and the demons. We avoid the demons, associate with the devotees and preach to the innocent.

Some may appear to be acting as demons but are actually innocent and have just been mislead by the bad association of the demons. So we can preach to these innocent mislead people so long as we can get them interested in hearing about Krishna from us and reading Srila Prabhupada’s books.

But a very committed demon, he will never surrender to Krishna and if we try to preach to him he will just become more envious of Krishna, more angry and more offensive. So preaching to a demon is not recommended and is generally not a good thing to do.

Of course the very advanced devotees, they can develop the ways and means so that even the demons can be caught up in the network of Lord Caitanya’s sankirtan movement.

But for us we have to find someone who is at least a little interested in hearing from us about Krishna. We can preach to such a person who wants to hear about Krishna from us. But we should not try to preach to outright demons…

and many , many things are here —- going on successfully with higher authority.

How can I able to write all things ? It`s pain full for me .

    • Yes. ISKCON is now too painful. I have absolutely nothing to do with these people. They are mostly demons, some innocent sincere people get caught up with them but they either turn into demons due to the bad association with the ISKCON people or leave disgusted. So it is best not to have anything at all to do with these ISKCON people.
