My Srila Prabhupada Experience
Nowadays, with the advent of mp3’s, I have a 20 gig Ipod on which I have all of Srila Prabhupada’s lectures,addresses, morning walks and bhajans etc. These I am listening to in date order and am currently up to late summer 1974 in Mayapur, listening when I go to and from work it has taken me a little over a year so far.

I would like to share with you some of the experiences I have had over time.
Receiving the protection of lord krishna, and seeing the power of the mahamantra. Many years ago I lived at Bhaktivedanta manor in Letchmore Heath, one day myself and another devotee were crossing the nearby fields on our way to Aldenham.
All of a sudden there were two large dogs barking very loudly heading straight for us. Upon seeing this we started chanting louder and louder and all of a sudden the dogs stopped about two metres away the barking ceased, and the dogs turned around and walked slowly away.
Experiencing the mercy of Srila Prabhupada.
I had been chanting for some time before I attended my first Jhulana Yatra. The experience I had has stayed with me ever since. The moment that I pushed the swing in which their Lordships were seated I was overcome by feelings that where totally new to me.
I knew at that moment that Sri Krsna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead. This event spurred me on to read Srila Prabhupada’s books much more closely and learn more.

Listening to Srila Prabhupada, reading his books and chanting the mahamantra are my only interest’s, anything else feel’s like it is intruding in to my life.
