Prabhupada Accepts New Disciples at Radha Damodar Temple, Vrindavana

It is our great honour and pleasure to announce the success of the First Annual Srila Prabhupada Glorification Festival at Sri Sri Radha Damodar Mandir, Vrindaban, India, on the auspicious disappearance anniversary day of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Svami Prabhupada.
The festival went on without a hitch in spite of the protests of both their holinesses Narayana Maharaj and Puri Maharaj, who personally came to Radha Damaodar Mandir with the intent of stopping the ritvik initiation ceremonies.
The Gosvamis who manage Sri Sri Radha Damodara Mandir are very dedicated to Srila Prabhupada and had no other desire other than to see Srila Prabhupada glorified.
Although the Maharajas’ threatened to never come to Radha Damodara Mandir again if the initiation ceremony took place, the Gosvamis nevertheless held fast to their decision after consulting with senior Prabhupada disciples like Vishnu Murti Prabhu.
His Holiness Kapindra Maharaj performed the auspicious ceremony in front of the Bhajan Kurtir and Samadhi of Srila Rupa Gosvami. Five new disciples of Srila Prabhupada, from all over the world, were initiated with ecstatic kirtan followed by a wonderful prasadam feast.
This is a milestone in the push to reinstate Srila Prabhupada as our sole diksa guru.

I dream of that day when I will be accepted by Srila Prabhupada as his disciple….I feel so disgusted now because I’m not following Srila Prabhupada’s orders. My mind “dushta mana” does not let me do it at all! My request to all advanced devotees is that please help me and all aspiring devotees to become qualified to get initiation from Srila Prabhupada and become Krishna Conscious.

You can get initiated by Srila Prabhupada by surrendering to him and serving him, by reading all his books, chanting at least 16 rounds of the Hare Krishna mantra every day, strictly following the four regulative principles: no illicit sex, no meat eating, no gambling and no intoxication. And all the other things, like only accepting Krishna prasadam for example. We will not be able to control our senses unless we first control our tongues by only allowing the tongue to taste Krishna prasadam and only allow the tongue to vibrate the Hare Krishna mantra and Krishna katha.
This is the way and it works. Process is simple but application is difficult. As we are very much materially attached. It takes great effort actually, to become Krishna conscious, but it also takes great effort to do anything in the material world. So either way we have to make a great effort so it is best to make a great effort to become Krishna conscious.
It is a cop-out, saying ‘my mind won’t let me become Krishna conscious’. Of course our minds will object. We have to control our minds with our intelligence. Srila Bhaktsiddhanta Sarasvati Tahkur speaks of beating the mind a thousands times in the morning with a broomstick. So we have to do like that. Beat the mind into submission. Force ourselves to chant Hare Krishna. Keep ourselves so busy serving Krishna that we have no time left for maya…
And we may fall down, but we should not fall down, but if we do fall down it is not the end of the world and we should not feel hopeless. The hope is always there. All we have to do is get ourselves properly situated again in chanting at least 16 rounds a day, strictly following the regulative principles, reading Srila Prabhupada’s books, etc, etc. It is simple, this is the way, but as you are saying the mind often doesn’t want to cooperate with us. We have to control the mind with the intelligence. We have to force the mind to let us chant Hare Krishna…

I also accept Madhudvisa Prabhu as my Shiksha Guru and I will not take any big step without asking him. And he will never tell me anything wrong. I do not worry about formal initiation anymore.

our love and devotion to krishna should not be dormant anymore,
now let we all start to love Krishna sincerely as how Srimathi Radha Rani does.
Very seriously to say this bodily concept of live is just a lump
repeatedly, seems no ending unless we turn our mind towards Krishna,
because the love cannot be forced otherwise the independent issue is questionable, that shows how Sri Krishna bhagwan is so mercy, He let us to choose to love Him or bewildered(bodily life). ” Krishna please bless us & guide us to go back to your abode with causeless mercy “.
Oh Govinda oh Gopala..this bodily life seems to be more worst as compared to prison life of state law punishment, because “that” punishment seems to be repeatedly done(force to take B&D) by YOUR authority,Ohh Krishna, Mangal Bhawan AmangAL hARI….PLEASE save us form the ocean of birth & death,
