Hare Krishna,

I want to understand if there is any particular method in reading the Gita as it is a holy book. Like maintaining a constant place and time or can it be read even while travelling. Should there be any effective practices that we should follow.

I have only read few pages of Bhagvad Gita and not read vedas at all. I have two questions which are as follows:-

1) Are Gita and vedas different from each other..In your article it’s written that vedas contains references to animal sacrifices…Does Gita also says so..??

What should we follow. The Bhagvad Gita or the Vedas..??

2) Please tell me regarding Idol Worship in Hindu philosophy..Which is better..Serving an Idol or serving a begger..??

The Mystery of Deity Worship

Iam not this body, stay attached to god ,do not lie , stay detached from materialistic things ……..
All these things are not easy to follow.If I am staying in this world then how is it possible.If personally I am trying , then this world does not allow’s me to live the way I want to.It is not always that easy to say Oh! God did this,it’s because of my own Karma.
I always get dragged into things that I don’t like.I don’t want to live like this but still I am living without enjoying.
