Let us all work together to restore Srila Prabhupada's books to their pristine and uncontaminated glory. Then let us distribute those books again and preach the pure devotional service of the Lord to the innocent masses yearning to be free of the shackles of maya. Let us enter the arena of the material world proclaiming the Glories of the Lord with the absolute conviction that we can only benefit everyone we

There is no precedent in our sampradaya for posthumous, unapproved changes to an acarya's books. If a devotee needs to clarify a previous acarya's work for the understanding of his contemporaries, he writes a separate tika and appends it to the original work, leaving the previous acaryas' commentaries unchanged. This is the accepted practice in the Gaudiya-sampradaya

By sidestepping the pivotal issue of the lack of authority to make post-disappearance changes to the books of His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the spiritual myopia which has severely eclipsed the presentation of Srila Prabhupada's vani for many years has only become all the more evident

All Glories To Srila Prabhupada, the 1968 and 72 Editions of TLC are the same. After that (1974) many changes took place. Srila Prabhupada didn’t really like those changes and wanted that the original TLC be printed again. That didn’t happen and now we have over 1,108 changes in the TLC. In other words the whole TLC was re-written

I lived in New Dwaraka from 1980 to 1990 and have been still devoted to the L.A. Ratha Yatra and still give some donations for appearance days etc. I am not so up to date as to what nonsense may be going on within the GBC or elsewhere, nor am I necessarily qualified to judge. I do certainly agree that Srila Prabhupada's books should not be changed since that was his

We challenge the BBT managers and their editors to produce a single letter from any recognized scholar agreeing with them that Srila Prabhupada's original books were full of mistakes and had to be revised for his message to be properly understood

I noticed that even the Preface was re-written in the Teaching of Lord Chaitanya. I guess its not what Srila Prabhupada writes or speaks but what He meant to write. The part about Junior Haridas and how Lord Chaitanya was strict like a thunderbolt with those in the renounced order of life but soft as a rose to householders was almost taken out of the newer version of
