The Moon Missions: Oh Ye of Little Faith…
In the summer of 1969 we watched ‘one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind’ on our TV sets. 3 1/2 months later I was blessed to meet Srila Prabhupada in Boston as he arrived from England where he had been staying with his disciples and friends at Sriman John Lennon’s estate.
He was accompanied by Purushottama dasa his servant who was leaving the movement because Prabhpada was insisting “They did not go to the Moon.”
Indeed SP instructed his students to write to the LA Times and he outlined 10 valid reasons why they did not go to Chandra Loka, the Moon planet. His students remember 3 of the points; (1) By it’s own admission Nasa agreed the temperature on the moon to be 200 degrees below zero- *no human body could withstand that temperature even with 1969 technology.
(2) The moon’s surface according to Vedic conclusion, common sense, and scientific reasoning is made of a reflective substance; why then are there shadows in the video? (3) The international community of scientists at that time did not recognize the validity of the moonwalk, nor did they give credence to it.
Now a new documentary video has been produced by Mr. Bart Sibrel and was aired by Fox TV called A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Moon. This movie shows step by step the inaccuracies or anomalies of the TV event and the potential reasons for it.
For years we were questioned by parents, relatives, quests, and media personel in disbelief ;”you don’t think we went to the moon??? Even today it is a much heated subject matter. Even today some’s faith is tested by SP’s bold 1969 declarations and by prevailing popular opinion.
In this time of need for open and broad minded, rational, discriminatory and wise use of our god given reasoning capabilities, we humbly suggest each person make up his/her own mind based on fact (and revelation) and not follow the crowd mentality, one side or another.
We humbly call upon Mr. Bart Sibrel, Mr. Oliver Stone and other bold producers to investigate this further while we continue to honor, appreciate and contemplate our beloved hero/teacher’s courage, committment, and transcendental contributions to us and to all of mankind.

I will give you one absolute proof that we did not send men to the moon and bring them home safely in the 1960s with the cave-man technology they had then compared to what we have today.

How stupid can people be Exequiel? Their proof that we went to the moon in 1960’s is “It would be easier to go to the moon than to fake it.”
This is insanity. Firstly it is not easy to go to the moon. We are not able to go to the moon now, 50 years later, with technology light-years better than what they had in the 1960s. So if we don’t know how to go to the moon today, then how on earth could going to the moon in the 1960s be easier than faking going to the moon in the 1960s.
What would they have to fake. Almost nothing. Because NASA already openly faked the moon landing. They called it simulations. NASA built simulations of everything as part of the Apollo mission. They had the ability to simulate every aspect of the moon landing on earth. For training.
So there was no effort at all for NASA to fake the moon landings. Because they already had already built everything they needed to fake it, as simulations for training purposes.
The only difference between a simulation and the “real thing” is the audio feed and the telemetry feed with all the instrument readings from the Apollo craft and an occasional video feed were coming from the astronauts in space instead of the simulation. And no one in NASA could tell the difference between a simulation and the real thing.
So how stupid and gullible can people be?
NASA already had everything needed to simulate the moon landings and if you push them about the photos they will admit many of the photos were taken in the simulation on earth. Of course they had a simulated moon surface and simulated everything.
NASA is in the simulation business, even today. Just go to their center in Houston. What do you find there? Nothing about building any actual space craft. No. You will find a huge warehouse containing full scale models of everything they have in space including even the Russian space craft. And you will find a huge sound stage for filming things with huge sets, and you will find a huge pool designed to film simulated space walks using the same life size models, they have the rock yard that has got big simulations of the lunar and martian surfaces. They only thing NASA seems to be working on, at least at Houston, is simulating space.
So NASA is very very expert at simulating space. That is what they do.
So if anyone can believe the rubbish in the video you refer to then they do not have any intelligence and there is no point discussing anything with fools.

There is no scientific evidence whatsoever that men walked on the Moon. Any so called evidence to back up the Apollo Fairy Story, has been fully debunked. Most of the debunking can be seen under the APOLLO Q & A section of the Apoll Facts website.

I laugh whenever I see the sh-tty always black and white images NASA always feeds us with. Just think about it, they have had the Hubble Telescope, orbiting our planet, able to take crystal clear pictures of distant galaxies and solarsystems, but Nasa hasn’t delivered us a half decent picture of the moon..Give me a break. They (Nasa) are so full of it. LOL
We have excellent pictures of the Moon, and you can take some yourself from your back yard with proper equipment. The Moon appears to be in black and white because of the lighting and the color of the dust covering its surface, which is mostly quite dark. This results in it looking shades of grey.

The data generated by Apollo Missions does not need a Manned Spacecraft.
Also, There is no concrete evidence that even the unmanned spacecrafts have gone outside Earth’s Orbit. The data can simply be made up. While lots of Public Money is wasted.

You want proof of the landings. get a powerful telescope – focus on the area of the landings – and eureka, you shall find foot prints, the moon buggy, the lander. All you need is a big telescope. Simple, isnt it.
This is why the internet is such a useless place. People can simply make stuff up and publish it as truth. THERE IS NOT A TELESCOPE IN THE WORLD THAT IS POWERFUL ENOUGH TO EVEN SEE A FOOTBALL FIELD SIZED OBJECT CLEARLY ON THE MOON.

There is abundant proof of the Apollo missions, including photographs of the landing sites taken by AN INDIAN satellite. No, at least I personally am open to the possibility that we landed on the moon and men walked on the moon. I just want to see some real proof. If that wikipedia page is all the “proof” there is then that proves my point that there is very little proof. The ‘Indian’ Chandranarayana-1 was also a project undertaken in cooperation with NASA. So that link is there. You may know that one of their findings was water on the moon but they did not release that until NASA released it and after NASA released it they said “yes we knew that but we did not release it…” So they are also effectively under the control of NASA. So all that website can provide us is a few bits of information they have got from NASA. And honestly if you wanted to fake it it is very easy to make those photos. How difficult is it to make a photo of the earth with some stars in the right positions as they would have been seen from the moon at the time? How difficult is it to make an image of a supposed landing module and its shadow and a line that is supposed to be the astranoughts footprints.
So my point is you have faith in NASA so you naturally believe in what they say, this is not science, it is like religion. They say something and you just believe it. My point is that just suppose they wanted to fake it then they would naturally product some evidence like this, like the picture of the earth with the stars in the right positions, etc…
As I have said elsewhere the real proof that we did not go is if we had the technology to put men on the moon and bring them home safely in the late 60’s then space travel would have developed and it would be a common thing today. Every technology naturally develops and improves over time. But the space travel technology is completely non-existent today. Not only did it not develop for the advanced point of being able to take men to the moon and bring them home, it just disappeared altogether, just like it was never there in the first place. And since the last Apollo mission no man has even left the Earth orbit. No one has gone more than a couple of hundred miles above the surface of the earth. So that is a big come down. From being able to safely take men from the earth a quarter of a million miles and bring them back home again in the late 60’s to today when actually we can not even safely take men up to the space station and bring them back down, which is only a hundred miles or so up…
So the logical conclusion is that we never had the technology to safely take men to the moon and bring them back again. Because if we could do such a wonderful thing in the sixties, now fifty years later, the technology would have greatly advanced… I think you can see the logic in this.

Yes. Nowadays, only absolute idiots could believe NASA’s “men on the moon” story. Even NASA don’t believe that story any more. I have that personal experience. A few years ago I went to that big NASA place in Houston and was going around there and asking everyone, all the NASA employees, all over the place, if they could give NASA’s position on the manned moon landings, and none of them were prepared to say they were real. Many did not believe in them at all, and none of them could say they were sure that NASA sent men to the moon in the 1960s.
And, by that way, now, in 2021, it is a great advance in space travel for a billionaire to blast off and go up 100 miles and come straight back down again. A huge achievement in manned space travel, in 2021, up 100 miles and straight back down… But in the 60s we could routinely send men to the moon, a quarter of a million miles and bring them home safely… It is rubbish. A fairy tale… Once upon a time…

The solution to sin(x) = 100000 is 1.5708 – 12.2061 i (to four places accuracy). With complex numbers it is possible to have sin(x) away from its usual real number limited range of -1 to 1. Gods are not necessary to solve this equation.
I’m sorry, but we did indeed go to the moon. The Apollo program employed, directly and indirectly, about a million people, including my father. Srila Prabhupada made an unfortunate mistake due to the cultural differences. It does not help with the progress of devotion to Krishna to keep this misconception going. I’m a physicist, and astrophysicists use the results from Apollo missions (and many other space voyages) every day.

There is no point in just asserting “We did go to the moon.” You can not say this for certain because you only believe this because you believe what has been taught to you which all ultimately comes from NASA and if for some reason they wanted to fake the moon missions obviously what you have been taught is wrong. We all have some of these “absolute truths” that we have convinced ourselves must be true but in your case there is absolutely no proof that man has ever walked on the moon. There is a very elaborate story and if you want to believe that story then you can. But no one really knows if that is story is true or not. There is no proof we ever went. And for more than fifty years now not a single man has even been outside the orbit of planet earth, what to speak of venturing a quarter of a million miles out into space to visit the moon and return safely. Our only modern achievements in ‘space’ are limited to sending a few men up to the space station only a hundred miles or so above the earth. And even that simple task they can not do very reliably….
So there is no proof men every walked on the moon, no men have ever walked on the moon since and we have no idea how we could send men to the moon to walk on it today….
