That is one of His qualities. He is eternal, never born and never dies. Just because we haven't anything in our direct experience which ahs no beginning that doesn't mean such a thing does not exist... And as for the universe, it is definately created and in due course it will be destroyed as well. It is a cyclic thing. The universe is created, it remains for some time, and is destrroyed, then the cycle begins again. So althought the universe is temporary and so is every material thing within it the cycles of creation and annihilation are eternal. There is another world, however, beyond the material universe, which is eternal, full of knowledge and full of pleasure. That is our real home, because we, the spirit-souls are also eternally youthful, full of knowledge and full of pleasure. We can not actually be happy here in the material world which is temporary, full of anxiety, and full of ignorance. So we should use this human form of life to elevate our consciousness so we don't have to come back to this material world again for another round of birth, old age, disease and death. We should go back home, back to Godhead... >-- > "Das Niveau ist hoch - ist nur keiner d'rauf." > *Marcus C. Gottwald* *Professor@assi.s-link.de* >## CrossPoint v3.0 ## Thank you. Hare Krishna!
