Guru: Everyone is lying to you…

Hare Krishna Prabhu.
Please accept my humble obeisances
All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

I was going to be deviated by this unique addition to the ritwik philosophy propagated by ISKCON Bangalore. I am very thankful to you from saving me from getting deviated. I was patronising ISKCON Bangalore from some days but now I realize my mistake. ISKCON or ISKCON Bangalore, it is not safe to follow anyone.
I have to become Krishna Conscious on my own strength, there is no other way.

Why we criticize Mayavadis?

Hare Krishna Prabhu

I did a great blunder. Some of my college students were following a man called – Sadhguru. I was curious what this man was teaching. And then I ended up seeing many of his videos.

It was very late until I realised that he is a Mayavadi. He was talking of Krishna. But he said that it is not surprising that Krishna told that he is God for many other persons had said that in the past.

Now I am losing my faith in Krishna. I don’t know what to do. My consciousness is dwindling now. What should I do Prabhu? How can I regain my faith? Please help me!

The Mystery of Deity Worship

Thank you Prabhu for your reply.

Yes, you are right. I just recently visited ISKCON Bangalore this July. This was my first visit to any ISKCON Temple. I had very high hopes. But unfortunately ISKCON Bangalore has only left me with bad memories.Whenever I remember I only feel sad, I don’t know for sure but it felt more like visiting a commercial complex-with a temple besides it. But the temple was no doubt very nicely organised, but it was organised to the extent that it didnot feel good.

The devotees as you have pointed out once really didnot look like Prabhupada Disciples. And the shopping complex below, everything is run by non-devotees. Regarding the section of books, there was only one book I found to be the original= Bhagavad Gita As It Is. And all the other books either they were edited, or in Kannada or I saw for the first time in my life. They are definitely not Prabhupada Books. Krishna Book was looking completely different. I had no idea what was going on. Book Distribution is a far thing, they don’t have sufficient books even for people visiting the temple itself- let alone becoming the base for Book Distribution. There were only 2-3 Srila Prabhupada’s books and all others;I donot know what books they were or who wrote them.

It seems that the devotees in ISKCON Bangalore are very busy- they have no time for Book Distribution, nor Sankirtan, nor introducing people to Srila Prabhupada and Krishna Consciousness who come to visit the temple. I don’t know what is keeping them so engaged and busy and what has become more important than this.

They are going on constructing Temples and more temples, it has become more like a temple movement than a Sankirtan movement. The world needs Srila Prabhuada’s books not magnificient temples. I had some hope from ISKCON Bangalore but it only gave me disappointment. I have left all hopes from ISKCON, let it be ISKCON Bangalore or any other, they have indeed became a dead branch of the Chaitanya Tree.

I will try on my own to distribute as much books as possible in this lifetime.

Hare Krishna Prabhu,
Please accept my humble obeisances.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

I have recently come accross a new thing in ISKCON. I know that ISKCON is a ocean of faults but this has particularly stuck my mind because even ISKCON Bangalore is doing it. PUSPA ABHISHEK- I have read that this is a complete concocted thing. Srila Prabhupada has never instructed us to do it.
I have also searched this term on but I never cane across such a term.

But I see everywhere it is done. This time during Janmasthami, I was watching the Live Abhisheka done at ISKCON Bangalore, Krishna and Radharani were drowned in flowers by Madhu Pandit Dasa Prabhu himself. I am wondering if such an organisationa as ISKCON Bangalore who is supposed to be completely following Srila Prabhupada allow such a deviation to to be carried out?

Please shed some light into this matter Prabhu.

And also regarding the Akshaya Patra programme. I am really confused if it really has to do something with Krishna Consciousness.

What is Initiation?

Hare Krishna Prabhu,
Please accept my humble obeisances.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

I have still many confusions with regards to initiation. How can I receive the a spiritual name. What is the difference between taking a formal initiation and not taking one. Prabhu, I really want a spiritual name. And how can I get one. Can I chose a spiritual name for myself or is there any process.

Book Distribution Is the Hare Krishnas Most Important Activity

Thankyou very much for your reply Prabhu.

» Posted By Hrishikesh Nath On October 13, 2018 @ 3:38 am

Hare Krishna Prabhu,

Is gifting a book considered as book distribution?
Because presently I am not distributing books. I am just gifting them as I can.

I gifted 3 Beyond Birth and Death, 1 Perfection of Yoga, 1 In search of Liberation-to some of the senior college students of my hostel( I presented the Books as a farewell gift to them).

I gifted a Science of Self Realization and a Bhagavad-gita to my parents. I requested my father to read it. He is reading the Science of Self Realization presently ( although he is finding the English a bit difficult to understand) and he will start reading the Bhagavad-gita soon.

BBT Admits Books Changed To Fit GBC Philosophy

Thank you very much Prabhu for your reply.

Hate Krishna Prabhu,
Please accept my humble obeisances.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

I just recently gave the Bhagavad-Gita As It is to my father to read. He is trying to read it but the problem is he is more comfortable in our local language i.e. Assamese. I requested him to read in English. But I understand his problem. He doesn’t understand most of the sentences.

So after thinking over this matter for many weeks, I finally bought the Assamese translation of the Bhagavad-Gita. The Edited one. The edited one and so called enlarged one has only 16 colour illistrations and out of which only 8 of them are from yhe original book.I had no other choice.

But I have decided to proof check the whole book with the original Bhagavad-Gita. I will correct the whole book as far as possible with pen and whitener. And I will pri nt the other illustrations on some good quality paper and attach them to the book. That is my idea.

My father is somehow convinced to read the Bhagavad-Gita after so much persuassion and Canvassing. I don’t want that he loses the enthusiasm.

I want your guidance Prabhu. Please tell me if I have the right idea?

  1. Govind says:

    Hare krishna Prabhuji.,Dandvat Pranaam
May i know about the author of the book”Srila Prabhupada Lilamrita As It Is” named mukund das prabhu.Had he any personal association with Srila Prabhupada.

    • This book is a compilation of direct quotes from Srila Prabhupada speaking about his own life. The author is Srila Prabhuapda, all Mukunda did was compile the quotes and he did a good job of it. He wrote a bit of rubbish on the last 2 pages but apart from that he did not write a single word in the book. It is a collection of Prabhupada quotes and the author of this book is Srila Prabhuapda.

  2. Vamshi says:

Prabhu Madhudvisa Dasa.Is Jagannath Krishna himself or is just an expansion of Krishna like Vishnu,Rama etc.In Iskcon lectures I heard that Jagannath is Krishna himself, they have proved this by saying a story from Skanda purana. Is this true or Iskcon lectures are just bogus?I found no video Prabhupad talking aboyt Lord Jagannath.Oh Prabhu kindly answer my doubts.Hare Krishna

    • Yes. Lord Jagannatah is Krishna Himself. It is Jagannatha [Krishna] Balarama and Krishna’s sister Subhadra.

So Jagannatha is deity form of Krishna. He is representation of Krishna with His brother Balarama and sister Subhadra,

It is deity manifestation of Krishna, Balarama and Lady Subhadra,

  3. tanu says:

    Jai Govind

I request you clear my doubts.I understand the complexities of life processes, cellular mechanisms and other natural phenomenon cannot be explained solely by reasoning and scientific theories as somewhere or other our knowledge is limited.I am a science student nd nature lover. After reading the article posted by you regarding the concept of the origin of life,a question arisen in my mind that krishna is all powerful, then, why he designed this universe in this complicated way?,why life originated? why he made all that dna etc matter space?what is his true nature? why are we given these bodies these reasoning abilities?why krishna waited for billions of years and made us take birth here?why prakrati and purush got seperated? who were those dinosaurs etc for souls are eternal were those dinosaurs primitive and other organisms we only? are there any planet lest earth having life?why will happen atlast for we are ultimately destined to reach our eternal govind? why doesn’t he appears now and clear all these doubts for one thing is sure that if even he messages in some ways we will submit to him?why krishna is so naughty why has he made everything complicated?I know these are childlish questions but still worthy to be answered…..

I am a krishana devotee.I feel as if there is pure love for him deep in my heart. But at the same time I do believe in science.Sometimes i find myself stuck in between science emotions belief and devotion.I want to understand my Govind,I want to understand myself.

I request my friends to please give answer to these questions.I hope i will get atleast answers of a few questions as i found this site quite appealing.

    Radhe krishna

    • Hare Krishna Jai Govind

To clear your doubts you have to become Krishna conscious. Because unless you become Krishna conscious you will not be able to understand what Krishna consciousness is and you will remain continually bewildered.

All these questions are irrelevant. You seem to accept that Govinda exists, that He is the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Now you have to just surrender to the idea that you are His servant. And then you need to find out practically how you can engage in the service of Krishna. And to find out how to do this you need to read Srila Prabhupada’s books. And in the process of becoming Krishna conscious all your other questions will automatically be answered.

The scientists can not understand anything. They only have very fragmental information about everything they study. The information we can gather through our material senses is very limited. There are so many things we can not perceive through our material senses. So they can not understand what they can not perceive.

So instead of just speculating all these questions and being bewildered like this it is better to just admit that in our conditioned state with our very limited mind and our material senses we can not hope to understand Krishna or even this material world which is created ultimately by Krishna.

The way to understand these things is to become Krishna conscious. We can not understand without becoming Krishna conscious.

So you have to learn how to become Krishna conscious… That is the answer to all your questions. And Krishna consciousness is a science and that science is very elaborately presented in the books of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.

Chant Hare Krishna and be happy!

      Madhudvisa dasa
