Please accept my humble obeisances.
Srila Prabhupada was on a morning walk when someone asked him if the earth was flat. He replied: ” everywhere I walk it is.”
Why would he make light of that particular question?
He directly told devotees that no one had gone to the moon, which was inconceivable for anyone to say. But he spoke the truth.

Please accept my respectful obeisances. That “Srila Prabhupada only spoke in Hindi during his stay in Vraj, Prayag, Delhi, Mumbai, etc.” is a falsehood.
My second concern to you is that Srila Prabhupada wanted the class of people to be preachers, whereas the mass may become Krsna conscious as well, although simply kirtan and prasad was the formula for the mass.
Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakur was highly learned in English, and his writings are so essential for the educated class. He was merciful to all devotees. But the highest class of people avail themselves of the highest literature, which Srila Prabhupada was ordered to spread to English speaking persons. A diamond will not have many qualified to purchase, that doesn’t diminish the value of it.
“Even if the majority of the people aren’t happy and prosperous, if a certain percentage of the population develops Krsna consciousness and becomes situated in the mode of goodness, then there is the possibility for peace and prosperity all over the world.”
Bhagavad-gita As it Is Ch 14.17
Quoting, reading, speaking, sharing, and following the words and instructions exactly as they are will bring success and perfection, rest assured. And ultimately one will attain love of Godhead, no matter what language one is familiar with. It is a question of dedication and submission to the pure devotee and the parampara disciplic succession.

I have always been confused about is when Srila Praphupada talks in his excerpt about Jesus as a Guru, the quote “He had no fault. Still, he was crucified. He wanted to deliver God consciousness, but in return they crucified him-they were so thankless. They could not appreciate his preaching.”. My confusion lies in Acts 2 of the Christian Bible where Luke records Peter saying that Jesus was handed over “by God’s deliberate plan and foreknowledge” and that he was put to death by “wicked men” (Acts 2:23). In Acts 4 it is said that Herod and Pilate did what God’s “power and will had decided beforehand would happen.” And the Catechism of the Catholic Church actually states that “All sinners were the authors of Christ’s Passion”. If you could clarify this.

Ummmmm I vam not sure what to say about the comments, but am a christian and I believe in God and that he IS a all-loving- God. The answer to that question is cause God lets us choose our path , he don’t want to loved by force, but by heart. In the Bible is say that in the end’s of the day Man would turn away and their heatrs would turn cold. Which means that the love would die and that we would follow other Gods. Plus GOd doesn’t need to destroy the world cause it can destroy it’s self.

I agree, but finding the right fuel has been difficult to sustain.
When I do find something that feels right something comes along to take it away. Even though the fuel was good for my soul and for others. I have found there are always obstacles to happiness that are grinding me down.
It`s as if happiness is a luxury.
Respectively – karen

I have been aware of Krishna consciousness since 1967. Srila Prabhupada came to Rochester NY and I met him and some of the Krishnas at that time. I became very serious about it. I was 17. An attempt was made to force me apart from it by school and mom but came back to realizatrion in 1997. No one will ever take away Krishna once he has presented to you. He claims his own. I know about “I am not this body”. I have most of the literature. I have Bhagavad Gita and have read the life of Lord Caitanya and Srimad Bhagvatam. I have read many of the other works of Srila Prabhupada.I have been aware of Krishna since childhood but Maya’s veil is thick and obstructive. It is too much to say. It can only be lived and experienced.
