These situation has already spread all over India. I’m from West Bengal, and here too the same situation, the cows are kept just to many money with some exception of course. Very few people have the Vedic wisdom regarding cows. Many Brahmanas like my family used to tame cows. We had quite a number of cows in our house when i was a kid but now all is gone. Everyone is too much stepped on materialism. Ignorance and atheism runs rampant everywhere, even when you see someone doing puja in temple, you can hear them praying for money, fame, cars, and all mundane materialistic desire. They have forgot the taste of the nectar of spiritual wisdom. Cows are kept in unsanitary condition, on medicines and injections, just to produce milk which they can sell after adulterating it with water many a times. Cows are the greatest wealth for a Brahmana, and its very sad to see the demise of cows.
Still stories like Sudevi, brings forth joy and a sense of hope. She is a great devotee and she is serving Krishna unrelentingly, and is literally struggling. Many of us could learn a lot from her.

Thanks for the confirmation. I can literally feel the words of Gita, in my heart when i read them. So i knew then that this must be a sign of something higher, something spiritual, form then on i started surrendering myself , the fruits of my deeds to Lord Krishna. Srila Prabhupada’s Two essay on Krishna who is the reservoir of pleasure and who is crazy contains some wonderful and short instructions on how to surrender oneself unto the Supreme self. That was really helpful.

Jay Shri Krishna Praphu
You May have answered this query many times in the past, inspite of that I would be very greatful if you can answer this question I follow Hinduism We have so many deities even though we too beleive in one god how do we justify the exisitence of So many God and Godess You may beleive the God to be only Krishna but this is also a fact that we have many God and Godesses how do we justify this to the followers of Islam

I think one first confirms the fact.
1st Craig Venter never claim he created life, he said “He is close to do that”. 20 years he wasted to do that now he himself on the verge of death bed.
2nd He admitted he used living cells for his test which recognizes the synthetic chromosome and transformed it to the way synthetic one was. More details can be searched on net.
For future symptoms read this 🙂 :-

Thank you very much. I have a another query. Lord Krishna has mentioned in the Gita that we should not focus on the fruits of our activities and just believe in the work provided to us by the Lord. So would like to ask you how can we devote all our actions to the Lord. I work in an MNC where on a daily basis I have to worry about productivity and quality. So how can I devote all my actions to Krishna? I really want to get rid of the concept of me being the doer. I know its Krishna that is pulling our strings.

Glad to read about Krishna from a devotee of Lord Krishna, Hope that I will get the same in future also. I do 4 round chanting of Hare Krishna Mahamantra everyday and willing to do it atleast 8 rounds after my examination. My question is that can I chant Om namo Bhavate Vasudevay in place of Hare Krishna Mahamantra. Is there any rule for chanting Om namo bhagvate Vasudevya (i.g. can not chant in night or can not chant while wearing shoes)

Hare Krishna ,
Thanks for the newsletter , I found the article very intersting and a good way to begin the Gita .
I had read the first 8 chapters of the Bhagvat-Gita As it is , I wish to start all over again and keep reading it , but I have read somewhere about the changes being made to Iskcon Books that were originally written by Prabhupada , I wish I can lay my hands on all the original books of Prabhupada and start my Journey Back to Godhead with his Divine Grace.
