There is more than the Material Energy…

My friend, that is the nature of the material world. That is the nature of the Lord’s illusory energy. And the more materially inclined a person is the more he is effected by this illusory energy. The whole system of Yoga, all the main four branches was created so that we conditioned soul can remove this illusory energy or maya which is covering our soul. A person in whom this illusory energy lies in thick, he is said to be mundane or dull in nature. Now the person from whom a little of this illusory energy he is said to be intelligent. A person from whom more than a little of this illusory energy he is said to be getting purified gradually. And a person from whom it has gone completely he is all-knowing.
Out of all the 4 system of yoga, Bhakti Yoga is the most natural, scientific and easy way to liberate our soul in this age of Kali. And the most powerful method of all is chanting the holy name of the Lord. You wouldn’t believe how immensely effective and great the Maha-Mantra is. Also being a Brahman, it is our duty to do regular study of The Bhagavad Gita daily in the morning. Which will naturally elevate you to a higher state of consciousness.
Thanks,

ISKCON: From the Absolute Truth to Insanity…

“So I’m torn, on one hand it’s terrible that true expressions of our love for the divine are being hindered; on the other it seems like this is the way things “should” be based on how reality is currently structured. ”

How can expresssions of our true love for the primeval lord be hindered ? Krishna is the Parmatma, he is the most dearest person to us and he is “param dayal”, means he is full of mercy, for we are also as living entities or jivas very dearmost to him. He is eager for us to return to him, so you see in actuality there is nothing that can hinder our path to him if we love him truly. The hinderance is maya you have to remember that.
Me i’m from a brahmin family in india, since i was a kid i had witnessed various sort of puja, and many forms of them. But i never felt any sort of love then, it was until i read Bhagavad Gita as it is. The verses were so strong that it brought tears to my eyes, literally. This could be a sign of that divine love, cause from then on my focus has turned towards the inifinte, the ultimate truth, Krishna. I never met a guru. Here in my place almost everyone are entrapped in a uber materialistic world view. So i’m also very eager to meet an authentic guru.
Its also said that when the Divine Grace shines upon anyone, all the knot of maya opens up themselves and that person has the oppurtunity to meet an authentic guru.
Until that happens i try my best to follow the Vedas, the Bhagavad Gita, Srimad Bhagavatam, and rejoice in the name of the lord, by chanting Hare Krishna.
Afterall Lord Krishna is the spiritual master of all…

Bhagavad-Gita As It Is Original 1972 Edition Free PDF Download

Hare Krishna Prabhuji,

Thank you immensely for this invaluable original edition of Bhagavad Gita. I don’t understand from where do the BBT get the impetus to change Prabhupada’s original writings. By changing even a single letter that Prabhupada wrote they are effectively breaking off the disciple succession. And this is against dharma. I can’t help but think why would Jayadvaita Swami make any sort of changes. Then again i also can’t help but to think about his name Jay”Advaita” Swami . I get a sense of mayavadi attack in all of these. Anyways i may be wrong.

But the point is that you are doing a phenomenal work by putting out the original edition of Prabhupada’s books and thereby maintaining the line of disciplic succession of Gaudya Sampradaya. You are a true protector of dharma and be sure that dharma will also protect you Lord Krishna will protect and guide you in your every endeavor to protect dharma. Keep it up

Hare Krishna.

Are the Hare Krishnas a Cult?

Well you say that you are a ‘normal’ Hindu yourself, then you above all should know that this is no cult. Its not movement at all in the political sense of term which you seem to be using. What you see are the devotees of the Supreme Lord Hari, in some religious procession. They do not go out in the street shouting around some proclamation. No. They are out in the parade to sing and praise the holy names of the Supreme Lord. And its a totally logical and reasonable thing to do, from a scientific perspective as well as a religious perspective.

You see everything in this creation is just a minute or an infinitesimal portion of the Lord’s external energy. So everything you see is a portion of his external material energy. Not even his spiritual energy, which cannot be perceived by the faulty senses. So the lord is everywhere. Everything belongs to him. Every sentient being is an eternal servitor of the Lord. Now this knowledge of being an eternal servitor of the Supreme Lord gives the devotees an unprecedented amount of joy and bliss.

Thus naturally they go out in the streets to sing and praise the name of the Supreme Lord, who is the Source of All Source and the Causes of All Causes, but he himself doesn’t have any Cause.

So you understand what i’m trying to explain. The Supreme Lord is everywhere, omnipresence, omnipotent. So now think about it. A person who knows this how can he resist the joy and bliss from this transcendental knowledge and not praise the name of the Lord where ever he goes. It simply doesn’t matter if he sings the name of the Lord in his private temple or outside in the street, because he knows very well that this material world is only a temporary existence and the Lord alone is the truth.

And after all this parade is actually a grace of the Lord upon the peoples who are trapped in material concept of life or who are in the grips of Maya, because even the sight of such parade would purify a materialistic person.

I hope i can clear some of your doubts or answer some of your questions.

Who Is Representing Srila Prabhupada Now?

This are indeed tough times for new bhaktas. Its really confusing and mesmerizing for new devotees who are seeking for a genuine master of the four sampradayas. Well all that we can do is to surrender to the grace of the Lord. “Hari Krpa Hi kevalam”..

    Hare krishna Prabhuji.,Dandvat Pranaam
May i know about the author of the book”Srila Prabhupada Lilamrita As It Is” named mukund das prabhu.Had he any personal association with Srila Prabhupada.

    • This book is a compilation of direct quotes from Srila Prabhupada speaking about his own life. The author is Srila Prabhuapda, all Mukunda did was compile the quotes and he did a good job of it. He wrote a bit of rubbish on the last 2 pages but apart from that he did not write a single word in the book. It is a collection of Prabhupada quotes and the author of this book is Srila Prabhuapda.

  2. Vamshi says:

Prabhu Madhudvisa Dasa.Is Jagannath Krishna himself or is just an expansion of Krishna like Vishnu,Rama etc.In Iskcon lectures I heard that Jagannath is Krishna himself, they have proved this by saying a story from Skanda purana. Is this true or Iskcon lectures are just bogus?I found no video Prabhupad talking aboyt Lord Jagannath.Oh Prabhu kindly answer my doubts.Hare Krishna

    • Yes. Lord Jagannatah is Krishna Himself. It is Jagannatha [Krishna] Balarama and Krishna’s sister Subhadra.

So Jagannatha is deity form of Krishna. He is representation of Krishna with His brother Balarama and sister Subhadra,

It is deity manifestation of Krishna, Balarama and Lady Subhadra,

    Jai Govind

I request you clear my doubts.I understand the complexities of life processes, cellular mechanisms and other natural phenomenon cannot be explained solely by reasoning and scientific theories as somewhere or other our knowledge is limited.I am a science student nd nature lover. After reading the article posted by you regarding the concept of the origin of life,a question arisen in my mind that krishna is all powerful, then, why he designed this universe in this complicated way?,why life originated? why he made all that dna etc matter space?what is his true nature? why are we given these bodies these reasoning abilities?why krishna waited for billions of years and made us take birth here?why prakrati and purush got seperated? who were those dinosaurs etc for souls are eternal were those dinosaurs primitive and other organisms we only? are there any planet lest earth having life?why will happen atlast for we are ultimately destined to reach our eternal govind? why doesn’t he appears now and clear all these doubts for one thing is sure that if even he messages in some ways we will submit to him?why krishna is so naughty why has he made everything complicated?I know these are childlish questions but still worthy to be answered…..

I am a krishana devotee.I feel as if there is pure love for him deep in my heart. But at the same time I do believe in science.Sometimes i find myself stuck in between science emotions belief and devotion.I want to understand my Govind,I want to understand myself.

I request my friends to please give answer to these questions.I hope i will get atleast answers of a few questions as i found this site quite appealing.

    thankyou!
    Radhe krishna

    • Hare Krishna Jai Govind

To clear your doubts you have to become Krishna conscious. Because unless you become Krishna conscious you will not be able to understand what Krishna consciousness is and you will remain continually bewildered.

All these questions are irrelevant. You seem to accept that Govinda exists, that He is the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Now you have to just surrender to the idea that you are His servant. And then you need to find out practically how you can engage in the service of Krishna. And to find out how to do this you need to read Srila Prabhupada’s books. And in the process of becoming Krishna conscious all your other questions will automatically be answered.

The scientists can not understand anything. They only have very fragmental information about everything they study. The information we can gather through our material senses is very limited. There are so many things we can not perceive through our material senses. So they can not understand what they can not perceive.

So instead of just speculating all these questions and being bewildered like this it is better to just admit that in our conditioned state with our very limited mind and our material senses we can not hope to understand Krishna or even this material world which is created ultimately by Krishna.

The way to understand these things is to become Krishna conscious. We can not understand without becoming Krishna conscious.

So you have to learn how to become Krishna conscious… That is the answer to all your questions. And Krishna consciousness is a science and that science is very elaborately presented in the books of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.

Chant Hare Krishna and be happy!

      Madhudvisa dasa
