I have heard that we can achieve many miracles by practising Yoga and it is not advisable to use them for our selfishness. But I am not able to understand the real meaning of that. From this newsletter I understood the real meaning of that.

In my practice holy places like Kollur Mukambika temple Pazhani Temple, shores like ganga and Pampa in Sabarimala season are very crowd and we cannot sit in a lonely place or lonely feeling place for getting a concentrated mind and we can hear even quarrelling sounds from there. But we can enjoy the loneliness in small temples like those in our rural areas. Hence in my opinion going to the temples in our nearby temples gives more peace than going to big big temples. However I am very happy to go to big temples and I used to go to big temples. And thanking you for solving some important problems of mine.

In my childhood we can see big plots of land and can sit in a lonely place. But nowadays a lonely land sees in paddy fields only and paddy fields of about 5 or 6 acres are available in our country although these plots belong to 5 or 6 persons. Going there and sitting there at 5 or 6 o’ clock in the morning gives a good feeling which cannot be written. Then if we can chant the name of god at that time we get a precious time in our life and it is luckily an experience of mine.
Thank you for your informations in the e-mails and thanking you

The thing whatever may be happen in our life feels as good or bad at the particular time it happens and the effect of feeling goes from our mind after that. This is my experience. Still we wants to happen happy things and worries about the bad things at least for a short time. And after that time we will get an empty mind. Most of the people says that getting an empty mind is not a real thing. But I feel so in most of the time. Hence I want to know that by getting an empty mind shall we get a way to think about God without considering any thing?

In Bhagavathgeetha it is said that we all must work as per the direction of God without expecting anything, but we can absorb anything what we got. Isn’t it? and God will direct us in all our works without the notice of anyone and we must be able to understand the direction of God anyhow. But swamiji how can we understand the direction of God?
Thanking you and hopping a direction

By chanting the name of God we get relief and happiness. It is true according to me. In Mahabharatham it is written that When Karna went to swargam there were no food for him, but there were enough gold and money which cannot be eaten. Then he asked to God what is the reason for that. Then God said that karna has not given food to anyone hence there is no food for him and God also said that as karna has shown the place where food was given to people to a stranger by his forefinger, he can destroy the hungerness by drinking his forefinger. Hence giving food to anyone in Temples etc. are doing for remembering this event. This is the story widespread in our country. Hence this activity is going on without any difficulty. But we can chant and make chant the name of God almost all time in our life.
Hopping that and thanking you

Yes, I used to go to temple daily and after worshipping the God, I will prepare the food for my family. Hence for two hours after getting up, I am very happy and peaceful at that two hour’s time. When we goes to temple we will have the feeling of some kind of happiness or same to that. Whenever we thinks of God we will not have any type of sadness or so, even if we are suffering from some disease. It is my experience. But when we come to material life we are not at all happy in all sense. Hence I will try to live as per this news letter.

We get pleasure and satisfaction while we are chanting the name of Krishna or any God and we get a good feeling which cannot be written. But when we reaches to material consciousness we cannot understand from where we came and to where we are going and what will happen in the next moment. then I will try to make understand my mind that whatever may happen it will not affect me. But my mind will not accept it fully. Hence please direct me a way to console my mind. This is only a problem according to me.
Thanking you and awaiting a direction,

One needs a perfect “guru” for getting advance in spiritual life. But almost we are not able to get such a person nearby or we are not able to meet such a person and it may be due to our bad luck. I hope that if Krishna wants to give me a good spiritual life he will help me to find out a such person.
Awaiting that thanking you

My grandmother used to say to me that if we can do all things without expecting anything we will reach to a state of “virakthi” ie. doing all things according to the time. And the state of virakthi is an extra ordinary feeling to human being. From this news letter I understood that virakthi is same as inaction in action.
Thanking you for allowing me to read these newsletters.

In my opinion all people in India has no such cast system. In a small state in India ie. Kerala there is no such strict cast system. It is known that Brahmana has another name called Dwija. Ie. man who has born twice. First his birth is as a common man and next birth is a man who thinks works and lives like a brahmin.by getting education. Hence the name dwija. From this it is clear that a man will not become a brahmin by birth. I belong to a brahmin family and it is still unknown that am I a perfect brahmin? This is only my doubt. My neighbours considers me as a brahmin. But I am sure that I live like a brahmin as far as I can and I hope that I can clear all my doubts from your newsletters.

I am a strict vegetarian and have not eaten even eggs in my life and hence it is not difficult to become a vegetarian for me. I was working as an electrical engineer in a reputed firm and retired from my duties as an engineer and leads almost a peaceful life. From my childhood I usually read “Sri Ramayanam, Bhagavatham, Vishnu sahasranamam and Lalitha sahasranaman daily when I get time ie. at any time in a day as I have several duties as a mother, wife and daughter. When I become free Ill read it and studied a lot, but it seams a very few thing. Hence I read these news letters for understanding more. I hope that God will teach me a lot what I need ie. only God knows what I want for making my mind and thus my body to become more healthy. I did not give up my habit of reading of these books till this instant. Even though I had read these books several times I feel that I am reading these books at first time when I read.
Hoping to get your news letters

It is understood that we all feel happy and sadness occasionally and if we can stand neutrally always we can see god or feel god. But as we are human beings I am not in such a condition and the happiness and sadness does not affect me in deeds and conversations even if I can keep up the neutral condition almost all times. Hence I want to know that “How can we react peacefully at all times even if some one tries to provoke us by simply blame us.”
