Radhe radhe,
How to never let the love for krishna diminish? I feel worried whenever I feel that krishna is going away from me. I just don’t want him to go. I don’t how to express it. I don’t think I will ever be able to get him away from me cuz I feel home when I enter my hostel room and see his murti that I talk to often look at, with love. How to keep it going on?
If we stop doing hare Krishna mantra for a few days, do we have to start over? Cuz its kinda difficult fr me right now.
Also, u r confusing me krishna has a blue colour, he is black too……so does he have black colour with a blue aura around his body? I hope u can understand my question? I was always confused about this question.

Who is Krishna?

Radhe krishna,
I have been doing japa fir the past 2 months now and that too regularly…but a week ago…the regularity broke off due to travelling and I just don’t know how to do it. I am a beginner. I am obsessed with bhagavad giTa written by guru prabhu pada. I just want to serve god krishna. We belong to mathura and vrindavan area. So I have heard about krishna since my childhood and have this unlimited curiosity to know more and more. I went so mad that I even have made some notes on bhagavad giTa. I have recited gayatri mantra since childhood. Now I don’t know how to do good japa. Please explain. Or refer me a particular book written by prabhu pada ji. I am improving only cuz of krishna. I am doing everything for him. I don’t feel like doing anything for myself anymore. It doesn’t make happy. I am very thirsty for the knowledge that prabhu pada has written about in d gita. And I currently onto shrimad bhagawatam. Kindly tell me if I am going on the right path? Do tell me about japa. I am really serious about krishna . Please help.

Finding out About Our Past Lives?

Respected,

I am confused. What if a person has been hurt very badly by another person and after taking to krishna consciousness suffered minimum amount of pain but the pain is still very bad in terms of experiencing it. Is this person still being hurt? It is karma, I get it but u said that once u come into krishna consciousness it gets over. Krishna changes the karma of the devotees. See, the person is still beginner, it’s not possible to instantly chant 16 rounds everyday and worship, we need time to fix ourselves and there is maya to attack us also. Whatever efforts we are giving, no matter how minimal but from our side it is 100% so I can’t understand. Sometimes u just start crying, it’s not as much as it was before coming to KC but it still gives u a lot of pain.

Prabhu, please explain. Why after coming to KC, we still experience bouts of frustration, anger, resentment? Why does Maya still affect so badly? Chanting isn’t 16 rounds since it will take some time, we are not robots, we have to sort out issues with maya also. I read bhagavatam and chant but my situation is such that I can’t do other devotional processes. What to do Prabhu?

Please I need some guidance.

– still struggling with maya

Third World War?

I dont know which country u belong to but your idea on pakistan itself is wrong. Hindus (bhramins, kshatriyas, vaishyas and shudras) didnt want to make a separate land of pakistan for muslims. This was a plan of the US. US and UK planned this strategy to keep India and pakistan as vassal states of the US whom they can use against Russia. To counter, Russia invested billionS in spreading communism in India and it failed. Democracy in India today is somewhat similar to european democracy but the Idea was actually taken from monarchical democratic dynasty of the emperor ashoka, the mauryan dynasty.

Now your knowledge regarding kashmir is really degraded. First of all, kashmir as a land and its people are essentially aryans and werent outcastes. Muslims in our country werent outcastes, they mostly belonged to the shudra class, mayavadis wouldnt let other castes study vedic scriptures because the inherited traits dont go away until unless u r very serious. Therefore they are converted muslims and not muslims because they were trying to understand god. Why? Because Bhramin, kshatriya, vaishya and shudra together form an aryan society. Mlechcha, chandala and yavana are considered lowest and non aryans, casteless or outcastes.

Shudras also knew how sinful it is to kill cows so they never accepted islam but were forcefully converted. For about 800 yrs under mughal invasion, there were no slaughterhouses (except inside the persian palaces) until the british came who first set up “legal” slaughterhouses because of which the first hindu muslim riots took place in India , 1800’s.

So my friend, its not just kashmir, the entire pakistan belongs to us. All these lands were divided and so many hotspots were created by the democrats of the US to be used as leverages against Russia. Russia is not that different though. They r barbarians too. Therefore, dont comment on our history, shudras arent outcastes. Mlechcha, chandala and yavanas are outcastes and non aryans which are present day europeans, middle easterners (including afghanistan) and the rest of asia except for south asia but mlechchas can be seen in indian subcontinent too.

Your version of the story is pretty cooked up and u obviously belong to a leftist sort of group. Nonetheless, Srila prabhupada has mentioned about this because he as an Indian knew it too after all he was alive during the partition.

I didnt make the rules, I didnt write the veda. I am just saying ur knowledge on vedic culture is horrible and also of India. Dont impose your crappy white scholar history here. Kashmiris by right, are considered (especially the kashmiri pandits) as direct descendant of the sage kashyapa. So kashmiris were actually forcefully converted. Not all bhramins think the same. Use some commonsense. This was due to some bhramins in the royal courts who forbade many to read veda. That was just in kashmir. All kashmiri pandits are not resonsible for the deeds of a few. Also, nehru was a demon, yes. Nehru did one thing right, under the orders of sardar vallabhai patel he made sure the entire vedic land comes together, otherwise he wouldnt have become PM again, he did it for his own greed as nobody respected him within the party. Srilankans wanted to be separate due to the british. So stop abusing, even if kashmiri muslims dont wanna live fine but the land belongs to us, of kashmir, gilgit baltistan, pakistan and afghanistan and we will reconstruct all our vaishnav temples there. By right, the entire earth belongs to us but I am saying with respect to last 1500 yrs. Deities are consecrated, its not a joke so krishna’s energy is still there and we will get it back, all that the invaders destroyed , the land belongs to us. Anyway, in the future, I dont think hindus will accept afghanis, pakis, kashmiri muslims as aryans because they fell from their ancestral position. They will be respected for coming back but wont be given the same status. I am just talking about the strict rules made by some saints. Marriages wont happen. Not my opinions though. Bloodlines are very important for hindus in general because many do marry foreigners but thats a minority as compared to 1 billion hindu population in India.

If u dont know, afghani bhramins who came as refugees 1000 yrs back are waiting for India to conquer afghainstan so that they can re establish the vedic dharma and are mostly vasihnav bhramin, atleast the ones I met. If u ask them they will tell u the same thing. Thankfully invasions happened because this mayavadi bhramanism was detrimemtal to krishna consciousness. Now it doesnt exist really.

So u r right about somethings but not exactly because u dont know stories that werent talked by SP about Indian history. Did he know? Obviously he knew but I believe what he didnt have was the time. SP hasnt talked about everything regarding Indian history and I am sorry but India will never withdraw, make ur american spies withdraw from pakistan and kashmir first and then we will take it back. The land belongs to us as it was since mahabharat. So your suggestions are just horrible and speaks of cowardice.

Indians were minding there own business, invaders came for money under the guise of religion and business men, then came US with UK parted India to use it against rusiia int he name of islam. In this conspiracy, neither the hindus (especially bhramins) nor muslims were involved. Muslims were brainwashed in the name of islam by apologists. US caused it, India doesnt need to withdraw because its ours. Thats like a thief asking the right to steal int he name of religion or whatever.

That seems logical😏😏 one more thing….How do we know that krishna has accepted our foodstuff and he has eaten it…. srila prabhupada said that the taste would be different. I know that taste but problem is a person like me who is just starting with deity worship will do offences in the beginning. I have gaura nitai and srila prabhupada whom I will start worshipping. For now I am only chanting and reading srimad bhagavatam and listen to srila prabhupada’s lectures . I have a deity worship manual, not the iskcon one but the one I bought from krishna store but I don’t know where to begin with. I will definitely do something wrong so when will krishna accept the foodstuff I prepare for him? It might be a silly question but I just wanted to know, if u can provide me with an answer.

Women In Society–A Television Interview With Srila Prabhupada

I couldn’t reply to your latest comment as reply link wasn’t available there so I am replying from this comment of yours….
Prabhu I definitely agree with you….They have successfully destroyed….But they still haven’t been able to destroy our belief in ram and krishna.

I have seen this “intellectual” problems with so-called educated urban class in our country. However, in rural areas, people know nothing more than krishna and ram. In indian villages, we worship the land where god ram and his eternal consort sita walked.
In braj belt, our belief in krishna is very deep that so many invaders couldn’t make us forget krishna even though they have destroyed our so many vishnu and shiva temples. Recently, khalistan terrorists, said india should be broken cuz it is all based on bhramanism and bhraman iCal culture is given priority.
I don’t understand why do all terrorists have problems with our bhramins and why do they have so much hatred and jealousy towards. They hate our vishnu and tey call us kafirs or occultists or something negative.
Point is, rural areas in our country which still form the majority, u speak concepts like divorce, atheism….They won’t understand but if u say to them about krishna or ram or shiva or the tridev….They will understand….I just want to revive the vedic culture….It is still there but these so called educated class of our country are all mudhas, just like srilanka prabhu pada said.
Don’t you think we should all come together, do some vedic revolution and get these practises of krishna consciousness for the rural people. If they will be educated. It will be a success. In our country, urban people don’t really have much power. Unfortunately, goons have been wreaking havoc on our cultural belief regarding lord krishna and the dharma he taught to arjun. I just feel so frustrated, I want to do something about this. Traditional vedic practises are still followed in villages except for haryana. It’s everywhere in our country. Can we ask krishna to help us in spreading krishna consciousness there….In rural areas???
Obviously we have to get ourselves fixed first , in devotion. This is a possibility though, right?

Oh finally, I have come across a woman who has the same views as that of mine.
Its difficult to make westernised indian women understand this, they start looking at you as a person who is a man in disguise of woman and must be squashed like an insect, immediately.
If I say that I would like to leave the job for my kid, lets be practical, my husband cant nurture the kid, okay?! he cant breastfeed the kid, no other woman can do it. We have more biological responsibility than men have. If I say this, I will be tagged as a woman with patriarchical mindset who is a submissive, meek and dependant on men……….BY FEMINISTS. I am just against this idea of menism and feminism and all sorts of isms. Why cant we just be on krishna path, altogether???
OH these rascals, whether they be born in a man’s body or that of a woman, it doesnt matter, they always want to separate things, make boundaries and come up with all sorts of idiotic activist theories. This is going shit. I sometimes really tell LORD KRISHNA that let a world war 3 happen. They will get killed and I will. I have no problem in getting killed if its for the greater benefit of the human society, thats what my parents have always taught me. This is also what we call as DHARMA. Look at the sabarimala temple issue now. Oh god, this is getting worse for women like me to live. SAY SOMETHING ABOUT FOLLOWING THE DUTIES OF A WOMAN ACCORDING TO VEDA AND YOU WILL BE BLASPHEMEID NO MATTER WHAT!!!

» Posted By Sheetal On October 7, 2018 @ 11:11 pm

Sir,

I can’t understand what you are saying.
Srila prabhupada said that if in a society, as soon as the male class falls, woman-class will also fall.
I dont know about being a servant but we give 7 vows to each other in the marriage to ensure the spiritual progress and one of the duties is to help the man on his spiritual path. I am talking about the vedic marriage sir.
My question is, women will be all what veda describe but men have to be superior also otherwise how will a woman stay with a man who cant become the head of the house. Srila prabhupada said that the man has to be better than the woman.
The only bad people I see in the west are the demoniac people and not men or women. MAN or WOMAN, they are just bodies.I dont know about west sir since I am an indian. I dont even understand what western women view men as, they are kind of complicated views.
What to do about INDIA sir? I dont think that men or women should be blamed, I blame nobody but the invaders, 100 years ago, things like rape were unheard of. elders blame the westerne ducation system. I agree with that. See I am not interested in blaming any gender because its the soul that matters. How should we start the gurukul system again? The way I see it, I can never trust a man as my husband who is addicted to such bad things. Forget about surrender or love, this is how girls in this country think. There has been no real feminism in this country but men are still getting addicted to porn and all the wrong stuff. Women are getting raped and nobody is protecting us. How are women to be blamed for these thing??? Men arent even following the vedic culture. If they wont follow then you cant really fully have a fulfilling marriage where the woman also attends to help you. The way I have understood is that Lord krishna initiate the marriage system so that the husband and wife help each other with spiritual progress. This is something ”modern people” in our country will laugh at.

Please explain.

» Posted By Sheetal On October 7, 2018 @ 10:55 pm

Sir I agree with you and srila prabhupada. I still have doubts. It would be fortunate if you answer my questions.
1. Men in our country, especially our generation, aren’t going to gurukul at all, instead they are all watching porn and play video games and adult games. Srila prabhupada says to not marry such fallen men. If the guy is good but become like bhramin ajamila after marriage then where should a woman go? We are dependent on them, if men disrupt family life in this manner, lot of them being porn addicts, what should such women do? Even in india, westernisation is a curse. British have burnt our scriptures and finished the gurukul system. Men are not even eligible to be called men anymore. Fine you don’t behave like a husband but at least be a good father. What should women do in such a case?

2. Nowadays, women have to do jobs but in india even in our generation, my friends say that they will leave their jobs as soon as they have to start a family life. Girls who are into smoking, drinking etc, they would always come and pass off comments like you are a weakling. How can you let a man dominate you?
The situation for girls like us is becoming depressing day by day. This is not feminism sir. They are trying to enslave feminity and masculinity, both. Please tell what to say things to such women? In my eyes, my mother is my role model, the way she has brought us up. It’s not easy. What is wrong if a woman wants to leave her job to raise kids?? Please tell us what to say to such women?

I hope you reply and consider answering it sir.

Koti koti pranam!!

The Spirit of Bhagavad Gita

Respected Madhudvisa Das,
Hare Krishan, It was so kind of you to send me this wonderful mail on “Bhagavadgita”. Thank you very much. Well I’m already in association with ISKCON since many years. I think it wouldn’t be right for me to say I’m a devotee nor completly neophyte. I’m trying to be an devotee. I have already read many books on ‘Shrila Prabhupad’, I keep visiting ISKCON temples whenever possible. What I have realized is that constant association with devotees help us to progress in devotional service which I don’t get. So please continue sending me the newsletters. I have plenty of queries to be asked and I’ll make sure I’ll post them all to you and I know all my queries will be answered.

The first thing I would like to tell you is that I’m a lecturer by vocation in an Engineering collge. I don’t get association of devotees at my work place nor in my house. Its only on sundays and some other occassion I get to go to the temple. Well my problem is I don’t know how to behave and interact with non-devotees at work place. I can’t complety avoid them but, whenever I’m in their association I get disturbed. Their topics are most of the time gossip or some stupid mundane activities. Its such an ordeal to be with them. PLease kindly suggest.

Hare Kishna

    Hare krishna Prabhuji.,Dandvat Pranaam
May i know about the author of the book”Srila Prabhupada Lilamrita As It Is” named mukund das prabhu.Had he any personal association with Srila Prabhupada.

    • This book is a compilation of direct quotes from Srila Prabhupada speaking about his own life. The author is Srila Prabhuapda, all Mukunda did was compile the quotes and he did a good job of it. He wrote a bit of rubbish on the last 2 pages but apart from that he did not write a single word in the book. It is a collection of Prabhupada quotes and the author of this book is Srila Prabhuapda.

  2. Vamshi says:

Prabhu Madhudvisa Dasa.Is Jagannath Krishna himself or is just an expansion of Krishna like Vishnu,Rama etc.In Iskcon lectures I heard that Jagannath is Krishna himself, they have proved this by saying a story from Skanda purana. Is this true or Iskcon lectures are just bogus?I found no video Prabhupad talking aboyt Lord Jagannath.Oh Prabhu kindly answer my doubts.Hare Krishna

    • Yes. Lord Jagannatah is Krishna Himself. It is Jagannatha [Krishna] Balarama and Krishna’s sister Subhadra.

So Jagannatha is deity form of Krishna. He is representation of Krishna with His brother Balarama and sister Subhadra,

It is deity manifestation of Krishna, Balarama and Lady Subhadra,

  3. tanu says:

    Jai Govind

I request you clear my doubts.I understand the complexities of life processes, cellular mechanisms and other natural phenomenon cannot be explained solely by reasoning and scientific theories as somewhere or other our knowledge is limited.I am a science student nd nature lover. After reading the article posted by you regarding the concept of the origin of life,a question arisen in my mind that krishna is all powerful, then, why he designed this universe in this complicated way?,why life originated? why he made all that dna etc matter space?what is his true nature? why are we given these bodies these reasoning abilities?why krishna waited for billions of years and made us take birth here?why prakrati and purush got seperated? who were those dinosaurs etc for souls are eternal were those dinosaurs primitive and other organisms we only? are there any planet lest earth having life?why will happen atlast for we are ultimately destined to reach our eternal govind? why doesn’t he appears now and clear all these doubts for one thing is sure that if even he messages in some ways we will submit to him?why krishna is so naughty why has he made everything complicated?I know these are childlish questions but still worthy to be answered…..

I am a krishana devotee.I feel as if there is pure love for him deep in my heart. But at the same time I do believe in science.Sometimes i find myself stuck in between science emotions belief and devotion.I want to understand my Govind,I want to understand myself.

I request my friends to please give answer to these questions.I hope i will get atleast answers of a few questions as i found this site quite appealing.

    thankyou!
    Radhe krishna

    • Hare Krishna Jai Govind

To clear your doubts you have to become Krishna conscious. Because unless you become Krishna conscious you will not be able to understand what Krishna consciousness is and you will remain continually bewildered.

All these questions are irrelevant. You seem to accept that Govinda exists, that He is the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Now you have to just surrender to the idea that you are His servant. And then you need to find out practically how you can engage in the service of Krishna. And to find out how to do this you need to read Srila Prabhupada’s books. And in the process of becoming Krishna conscious all your other questions will automatically be answered.

The scientists can not understand anything. They only have very fragmental information about everything they study. The information we can gather through our material senses is very limited. There are so many things we can not perceive through our material senses. So they can not understand what they can not perceive.

So instead of just speculating all these questions and being bewildered like this it is better to just admit that in our conditioned state with our very limited mind and our material senses we can not hope to understand Krishna or even this material world which is created ultimately by Krishna.

The way to understand these things is to become Krishna conscious. We can not understand without becoming Krishna conscious.

So you have to learn how to become Krishna conscious… That is the answer to all your questions. And Krishna consciousness is a science and that science is very elaborately presented in the books of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.

Chant Hare Krishna and be happy!

      Madhudvisa dasa
