Totally agree. To claim that a random incident created life, then it’s like saying that a huge library with thousands of books was the result of an explosion at the offset printers work shop.

That’s exactly the problem with lying. You always need to produce new lies to maintain your original lie.

I remember reading in the book A second chance that you can erase all your bad karma by simply chanting the holy name of the Supreme. Of course not with the intention to keep offending.
I read: “The word alam in this verse indicates that simply uttering the holy name of the Lord is sufficient. There is no need of any other process. Even if a person chants imperfectly, he becomes free from all sinful reactions.”
And the Padma Purana: “Even if one chants the Hare Kṛṣṇa mantra offensively, one can nullify these offenses by continuously chanting without deviation. One who becomes accustomed to this practice will always remain in a pure transcendental position, untouchable by sinful reactions.”
My hypothetical question: will it then not be possible to achieve Krishna’s abode even if we are not always 100% perfect in chanting 16 rounds every day? But we remember Krishna all the time and as long as we stick to the four regulative principles?

Please accept my humble obeisances all glories to Srila Prabhupada!
As you probaby know, there has been a new film under way for years about Srila Prabhupada called the Acharya.
I have for the last few years been asked for donations over and over again to get the film created. https://www.generosity.com/fundraising/acharya-marketing-and-theatrical-distribution
But I’m sceptical to the whole approach of spending millions of dollars on marketing and distribution to the theaters when the Internet is available for instant free, fast and viral distribution.

Hare Kṛṣṇa !
Are there any clear recordings of these prayers, or would you consider making them, so we can hear exactly how to sing/pronounce them? It would be a great help.

The physical books have a totally different energy when you read them.

Thank you and Hare Krishna Madhudvisa dasa. Please accept my humble obeisance for all you do. This site has had a huge impact on my spiritual awakening.
I’m currently studying the Gita and have read most of Srila Prabhupada’s smaller books. I love having the physical books they feel so much more alive than reading them on a computer screen. When I have more money I will buy the Srimad Bhagavatam and the Caitanya-caritamrta.
I have watched and listened to everything and anything I could find with Prabhupada over the last 2 years and I have come to the conclusion that he is the “real deal”.

I have wondered since Krishna and Arjuna was on the battlefield in the midst of war who took notes of their conversation and was able to write down the Baghavad Gita? How long after the battle took place was the book written?

Hare Krishna! The British brought their “poison” to the Indian people and know it will be very hard to put the demon back in the bottle.

Yes 2-3 hours (not 2-3 minutes of course) Do 1 hour in the morning, while commuting and an hours before bedtime.

I hear many excuses and many people can’t even chant 16 rounds. The funny thing is it only takes 2-3 minutes to do 16 rounds. How can anybdy not have time to chant 16 rounds? If you are so busy simply do them first thing in the morning or when you go to bed. What is so difficult?

I have seen it here in Denmark where I live at the moment. I tried to buy some books in Danish for distribution, and when I asked for the original versions pre ’77 they simple stopped answering my emails and ignored me completely. They not once said ‘Hare Krishna’ back to me on the phone, emails or when meeting them.

I have tried “prasadam” prepared by “devotees” many times, Denmark, England, Italy. I must say I have never felt/tasted anything devine, delightful or blissful in their food preparations. I guess saying a few words or mantras won’t make the food prasad, even when they are carried out by devotees. How do you even know for sure that they are true devotees nowadays who follow the rules? Honestly, my own vegetarian food brings happiness and joy to all my friends and family when I cook. I simply think of Krishna when I cook. Then offer the food for Krishna first and then let everyone participate afterwards. This works wonders.

What about the Gita in the original Sanskrit?
» Posted By Vinod On October 14, 2016 @ 12:20 pm
Well explained. I totally got this when I read the Bhagavad Gita first time. And it was very obvious that you simply stop “begging” for this or for that. Just rediscover your true position to serve Krishna and you will be taken care of automatically.

Fantastic and super valuable to hear it from Srila Prabhupada calling them rascal editors and that he knew already then before his death.

I’ve always found it very suspious that Srila Prabhupada died so suddenly as 81 yo only.
I have read: Dr. Mehta, an Ayurvedic physician who lives in Houston, was shown several photographs of Srila Prabhupada during His last days, and he also observed the video documentary of Srila Prabhupada’s last months entitled: “The Final Lesson.” Dr. Mehta has been a practicing Ayurvedic physician since 1948. His summary comments are:
“The expression and symptoms of the face, the eyes and the manner of speaking indicate to me that Srila Prabhupada was poisoned, most probably by arsenic or mercury. He Himself said that He was poisoned, confirmed by dullness of the face and how the natural color of the body is gone. This is very hard for the average person to understand; only the experienced eye can tell.”
“So as Krishna was attempted to be killed… And Lord Jesus Christ was killed.
So they may kill me also.” (Srila Prabhupada, May 3, l976, Honolulu)
“my only request is , that at the last stage don’t torture me, and put me to death”
(from SPC Vol. 36, November 3, 1977 tape recorded Room Conversation)
Please do not delete this comment and allow people to make up their minds. If he was killed by insiders we must be abe to say it. It’s like the jews trying to suppress and deny that they killed Christ. They did it’s a fact. Truth does not need to be covered or avoided.

Jai Sri Krishna,
In your email in the end you said “Chant Hare Krishna and be happy!”
Dear Brother, The answer is in this line Chant Hare Krishna, that is enough for all worries.
Infact Lord Krishna has said, WITHOUT MY WILL EVEN A LEAF WILL NOT SHAKE. Then Dear Brother why bother about the world coming to an end, what ever Our Krishna wants will happen. SO Lets us All Chant KRISHNA KRISHNA KRISHNA KRISHNA KRISHNA KRISHNA KRISHNA. . .

Jai Sri Krishna,
The end of world is not so soon. In a few years from now, there are some meteroits which are aming towards the earth, these will fall and in one day more then 30% to 40% population of the world will die.
