I just had a query regarding yogic practice ,people have been practicing yoga for ages even before Krishna coming to earth. They have used to teleport them self to other planets.Yoga has been practiced by Lord Shiva himself.Through yoga we can get the ultimate bliss which is not possible in this material world.Every veda stresses the importance of yoga. My ultimate aim is to follow yoga and keep praising God. I would request you to please explain why shouldn’t yoga be though and practiced everywhere.I am referring to the actual Yoga practiced by yogis and rishis.(1000 years back)

Where exactly is Hindu castes defined as a race except in white racist theories? I am from North India and there is no ethnic difference between a Brahmin and a shudra. In both castes, you’ll find people looking very fair to very dark and all range of facial features. As far as race is considered, we never suffered racism.
It’s white RACISM against non whites in modern times which killed and enslaved hundreds of millions including even the Jews.

Nilesh, you yourself answered your question. Even bill gates is so much bothered about others. He has donated most of his wealth to charity instead of giving to his children. He constantly writes about fighting for poor and is doing so much for developing countries.
G0d is the most compassionate and loving. Why do you think He won’t care, if bill gates can care.

Hare Krishna Prabhu,
I will be very obliged if i can get the answers from few of my questions from you.
1) Last to last week i went to Iskcon Temple Delhi, youth festival was going on there. I met one of the acharya (bhramachari) there, he was friendly he was good and one of the worker of ISKCON took me to meet senior Acharya, i was waiting for him in top floor of Iskcon temple, he made me wait one hour but that is fine he might be busy very much meanwhile i took prashad and i was about to complete my prashad Acharya ji came… and as he came the workers who were working there just lay down in floor in front of his feet as if he is GOD.. and one of the worker said to Acharya ji that this person (me) wants to meet u… and that Acharya ji very rudely said refer him to any one… my question is if one is very much advance in KC… then why he is considering himself not less than GOD? why he is not down to earth??? why he want people to lay down infront of his feet???? me being an educated person i haven’t done that therefore he become angry with me…. I am a devotee of Krishna too, i chant his name and try to remember him as much as possible while doing the daily activities of my work… I am looking for a Guru too but i will listen to my heart and without knowing any Acharya properly i will not surrender him….. Please correct me if i am going wrong…
2) while attending the youth festival there…. one Acharya ji was about to give lectures and he was worshiped as god by fellow jr Acharyas and we all were force fully made to clap also for him and rather then showing us the meaning of human life he started singing song.. i wasn’t able to tolerate them so i left within 15 min… all these activities of their made me remember the movie “OH MY GOD”… my question is are they really very much advance in KC???? I want to say is even i am a devotee of Lord Krishna and even if i become very much advance in KC i will still be grounded and normal person.. y to hanker for respect from other people?????? Prabhu ji you can scold me also if u think m talking ill bout others.and please correct me if m going wrong.
3) Is Becoming a Bramachari recommended by u prabhu??? If not in Iskcon then where we aspiring Bhramachari will go?????

But how can we find the spiritual master……???? I think initially we should start chanting 16 rounds and follow the 4 regulative principles and then when time comes Lord Krishna will automatically show us the way to his spiritual master…..

You have written, “The ninth offense is to preach the glories of the holy name of God to a faithless person who is not interested in hearing them.” Does it not negate the obligation for every Vaishnava to preach and spread Krishna consciousness to the uninitiated and the ignorant with maybe even blasphemous views of Krishna. Should we leave them, the ignorant and the blasphemous sinners as such or try to change them positively?

Hare Krishna Prabhu,
Does it mean that if a CEO of an American software company who has one small room in his office dedicated to Krishna for worshipping and that CEO forces his employees to work hard day and night to earn more profit for the company, then I would like to know whether CEO is doing his work in Krishna consciousness by making all his employee working like a bull but at same time maintining a small temple(room) for worship of Krishna.

Just came across this article and ant to know can it be true accordng to Vedas
Pundit Vedaprakash Upadhyai, a Hindu Professor, in his stunning book claims that the description of the ‘AVATAR” found in the Holy Books of the Hindu religion, matches
the Holy Prophet Muhammed (P.B.U.H.).
Recenty in India, a fact-revealing book has been published. The book has been the topic of discussion and gossip all over the country.
Amazingly the author of this book, Pundit Vedaprakash Upadhyai, is a learned and famous Hindu Professor. The book is called ‘KALKI AVATAR”. Pundit Vedaprakash
Upadhyai is a Hindu Brahmin of Bengali origin. He is a research scholar at the Allahabad University in India.
After years of research, he published this book and no less than eight pundits have endorsed and certified his points of arguments as authentic.
According to the Hindu belief, the Hindu world awaits “the guide and leader” named “Kalki
Avatar”. However, the description as given in the Holy scriptures of the Hindus points only to Prophet Muhammed (P.B.U.H.) of Arabia. Therefore, the Hindus of the world should not wait any longer for the arrival of “Kalki Avatar” (the spirit) and should readily accept Prophet Muhammed (P.B.U.H.) as “Kalki Avatar”.
These are his facts verified and supported by eight other prominent pundits.
What the author says is that Hindus, who are still anxiously awaiting the arrival of Kalki Avatar are simply subjecting themselves to never ending pain. Because, such a great Messenger has already arrived and departed from this world fourteen centuries years ago.
The author produces sound evidences from the Vedas and other Holy books of the Hindu religion in support of his claim:-
1. In the Puranas (Hindu Scriptures), it is stated that
Kalki Avatar would be the last messenger of God in this
world. He would be for the guidance of the whole world and
all human beings;
2. According to the Hindu religion prediction the birth of
Kalki Avatar would take place in an isle, which again
according to Hindu religion is Arab region;
3. In the books of the Hindus, the names of the father and
the mother of Kalki Avatar are given as VISHNUBHAGAT and
SUMAANI respectively. If we examine the meaning of
these names we shall come to some very interesting
VISHNU (Meaning GOD) + BHAGAT (Meaning SLAVE) = SLAVE of
GOD = ABDULLAH (In Arabic) is the name of
Prophet’s Muhammed’s (P.B.U.H.) father.
SUMAANI (Meaning PEACE and CALMNESS) = AMEENAH
(Meaning PEACE in Arabic) is the name of the Prophet
Muhammed’s (P.B.U.H.) mother.
4. In the religious books of the Hindus, it is mentioned
that the staple food of Kalki Avatar would be dates
and olives and he would be the most honest and trustful
person in the region. Without any doubt, Prophet
Muhammed is acclaimed to possess these qualities;
5. It is stated in the Vedas (Holy Boook of the Hindu
religion) that the birth of Kalki Avatar would take place in
an Honourable clan.
6. God would teach Kalki Avatar through His Messenger
(Angel) in a cave. Allah taught Prophet Muhammed (P.B.U.H.)
through His Messenger (Angel Gabriel) in a cave known as
7. God would provide Kalki Avatar with Divine Help. This was particularly proved in the “Battle of Uhud”.
8. Another dazzling account given about Kalki Avatar
was that he would be born on the 12th of a month. Prophet
Muhammed was born on the 12th of Rabbi-Ul -Awwal
9.Kalki Avatar would be an excellent horse rider and
swordsman. The author here draws the attention of the
Hindus that the real days of the horses and swords have gone
and the present time of guns and missiles. So it would
be foolish on the part of those who still expect Kalki
Avatar, who should be an excellent rider and swordsman to come. In fact, the
Divine Book, the Holy Quran, contains qualities and signs
attributed to Kalki Avatar reflecting on the Prophet
Muhammed (P.B.U.H.). The Author has given numerous
arguments in favour of his claim that Kalki Avatar is in
fact Prophet Muhammed
(P.B.U.H.) and those who still await the arrival of Kalki
Avatar should not waste time.
please comment on it according to the Vedas.

it would be rather interesting to get systematically educated about something before passing comment about it.
in this regard an indepth study of the srimad bhaagavatam (also known as the bhaagavat puraan) is recommended by vedic authorities.
what literature is this?
according to the author of this literature, this literature is the natural commentary of the famous vedanta written by the same author! Vedanta sutras just happen to mean the “conclusions of knowledge!”
so giving Srimad Bhaagavatam a reading seems like a genuine method for getting educated!
Education Empowers! 🙂
here is the link for the literature: http://srimadbhagavatam.com/en3

Yes it’s true Service to Humanity is Service to God but one cannot serve humanity if he/she does not have faith in God and when you have faith in God you will understand that you are just a medium of helping others.Actually the helper is the Supreme God.

I have a query to ask. We see there are so many articles published in internet which talks about A.C.Bhaktivedanta Swami has said such and such thing on a particular date . There are many such articles where it shows that A.C.Bhaktivedanta Swami had criticised his own god brothers who are direct disciples of Bhakti Siddhanta Saraswati Goswami Prabhupad. Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu had instructed that we should not criticise anyone in this world. However we see there are many such articles where a.c.bhaktivedanta swami had directly criticised his godbrothers with their names. We need to know how true these things are? are these really told by a.c.bhaktivedanta swami? is there any evidence presently available which can suffice this? if there are no such evidences , then we are just putting wrongs facts on a social forum and also by doing that it is a.c.bhaktivedanta swami’s own credibility is going down . We should not be criticising a baisnab publicly after all. please respond.

Hi to all.
Veda is the world’s oldest religious text still in use. Those who says that quran or bible is oldest then guys do some research on it.
If you want proof then here you go to wikipedia link
Read History of religious texts in above wiki post.
It is clear that First book was Vedas.
Here is written dates of books. (All sources are from Wiki)
Vedas – 1700 BCE(Started) – 1100 BCE (Ended)
