Riddle me this. If we know exactly the distance the moon is from earth from laser measurement, to the last cm. Then tell me why is it that when astronomers measure the solar eclipse they noticed its the same exact distance as the moon ???

Dear Prabhu; I subscribed to the newsletter some time ago. Excellent service you’re doing with the newsletter and the website. It’s a great inspiration. I am not a new devotee. I’ve been in contact with Krishna Consciousness for some time. Like many devotees, I have distanced myself from the ISKCON organization, and I’m looking for association outside of ISKCON. At the moment, I’m trying to do a serious reading and understanding of the Srimad Bhagavatam. I’m looking for the association of devotees who are also interested in an ongoing association with the Srimad Bhagavatam, or with Srila Prabhupada’s life and teachings overall. I’m presently on the big island of Hawaii, but it does not have to be direct association here locally. It could be reading over the phone, etc. Do you know any devotees who might be interested in reading and association over the phone, etc.? I’m in a remote area of the island, and I find myself too isolated from devotee association. And I cannot relate to ISKCON devotees. Thanks for your help, Prabhu!

Dear Madhudvisa Dasa Prabhu,
You’re doing an amazing service by being what seems like a lonely voice in support of Srila Prabhupada’s mission. I’ve been associated with ISCKON for nearly 23 years now and always had a problem with the guru system that existed in this society – mainly not recognizing anyone to be qualified to serve as a guru – especially when the motivation is for personal fame and wealth gain. It is encouraging to hear from you that we can associate with Srila Prabhupada through his books and accept him as the bona fide spiritual master as referred to in Bhagavad Gita.
I’m curious Prabhu were you initiated by a disciple in the ISKCON movement also? In your narrative it states you came in contact with ISKCON in 1984 so I’m curious who gave you your spiritual name? The reason I ask is because I’ve struggled with the concept of guru – mainly the imbalance that occurs between what is described in Gita vs. options available in ISKCON. I almost gave up on my advancement because there was no one on the caliber of Srila Prabhupada to take shelter of, at least in ISKCON and if real progress can’t be made without serving a guru then is our endeavor in a post Srila Prabhupad world in vain? I’m slowing understanding from your words that we simply accept Srila Prabhupad as our guru and take instruction from his books and lectures – is this adequate to full fill the requirement as stated in Gita of approaching a bona fide spiritual master? I suppose its up to Krishna to arrange a living person if such is our need.
thank you again for all you do,
Jai Sita Ram,

In order for this to be presented as a science, it’ll have to under go the scientific process. In the very first sentence, the Soul is described as a “non-material” object which is a paradox unto itself. An object is something composed of matter, and non-material is the lack of matter. In short, considering a non-material idea as science makes it impossible to record, test, and observe which makes it impossible to apply the scientific method to it.
Clever try though, otherwise well written but simply off-hand in any consideration that this will ever be considered as science.

The Truth is There is no demonstrated source for such non-racemic mixture of sugars in any plausible pre-biotic environment!
Life never came about by time chance natural processes! IMPOSSIBLE!! Atheists need to Learn Homochirality! And all biochemists do today is copy, synthesize and manipulate reactions! They rearrange pre existing genetic information! They dont create Anything! And Time will never help! Molecules are breaking down to quickly, not becoming more complex!!

Excellent point Sohail. After all science is about proving a theory objectively through observation and testing, or subjectively through rationalitation and logic. I am a firm believer in the Absolute Truth, known to many as many different Holy names. Please correspond, i am interested in your views. Many thanks, tom.

Id many thanks on your comment (jan 7). I have suspected filtration of acheological evidence many times but where can we find the original evidence that has been changed in order to prove to missinformed people the world over the truth’s as they stand? Modern social engineering scheme’s by goverments are no doubt involved, as are scientists who are not open-minded and try to make evidence fit in with their Darwinian belief’s intstead of being open to possibility and then to further research.

The sun rises and sets everyday; but the moon only completes its cycle in one month; therefore the apparent distances is that the moon is much further away than the sun.
