Hare Krishna

Assalam-u-alaikum

Kindly accept my obesiances unto your lotus feet.

I would like to answer your questions as per my own limited capacity and unlimited grace of Gaudiya acaryas and Sri Sri Radha-Krsna allows me.

We all know that religion is entirely centered upon conception of God. There is no meaning to religion without God and since the entire religion is build upon the idea of God so lets first look into conception of God as per Islam and Sanatan-Dharma.

“Learned transcendentalists who know the Absolute Truth call this non-dual substance brahman, paramatma, and bhagavan.”

(Srimad Bhagavatam 1.2.11)

This is the Vedic conception of God. God is refered to as Absolute Truth in Vedas. This verse from Bhagavatam states that Absolute Truth is called by three different names by the transcendentalists. These three names are actually three different conceptions of the same Absolute Truth that a transcendentalists has in proportion with his spiritual realization.

>>What is Brahman?

Brahman is nothing but the impersonal spiritual effulgence which is full of dazzling light. Hence is called brahmajyoti.

Vedic literature states:

This brahmajyoti effulgence is described in detail in several mantras of the Mundaka Upanisad (2.2.10-12):

“In the spiritual realm, beyond the material covering, is the unlimited Brahman effulgence, which is free from material contamination. That effulgent white light is understood by transcendentalists to be the light of all lights. In that realm there is no need of sunshine, moonshine, fire or electricity for illumination. Indeed, whatever illumination appears in the material world is only a reflection of that supreme illumination. That Brahman is in front and in back, in the north, south, east and west, and also overhead and below. In other words, that supreme Brahman effulgence spreads throughout both the material and spiritual skies.”

Lord Krishna in Holy Gita describes this as follows-

” But those who fully worship the unmanifested, that which lies beyond the perception of the senses, the all-pervading, inconceivable, fixed and immovable–the impersonal conception of the Absolute Truth–by controlling the various senses and being equally disposed to everyone, such persons, engaged in the welfare of all, at last achieve Me. ”

(Holy Gita 12.3-4)

Now lets see what Al-Quran has to say about this:

“Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The Parable of His Light is as if there were a Niche and within it a Lamp: the Lamp enclosed in Glass: the glass as it were a brilliant star: Lit from a blessed Tree, an Olive, neither of the east nor of the west, whose oil is well-nigh luminous, though fire scarce touched it: Light upon Light! Allah doth guide whom He will to His Light: Allah doth set forth Parables for men: and Allah doth know all things. ”

(24.35)

” He is the First and the Last, the Evident and the Immanent: and He has full knowledge of all things. ” (57.3)

“No vision can grasp Him, but His grasp is over all vision: He is above all comprehension, yet is acquainted with all things. “(6.103)

Last words goes like this-

wa Huwal Latiiful-Khabiir…

Latiif means fine and subtle. He is so fine that He is imperceptible to senses. Hence no vision can grasp Him. So no one can see Him. This is certainly the description of impersonal effulgence of God.

>> What is Parmatma ?

Paramatma means “the Supreme Self” or “the Supreme Soul,” (atma means “self or soul,” and parama means “transcendental, absolute or supreme”). Usually, paramatma is translated as “the Supersoul.”

What Vedas speak about it:

” Yet in this body there is another, a transcendental enjoyer who is the Lord, the supreme proprietor, who exists as the overseer and permitter, and who is known as the Supersoul. ” ( BG 13.23)

“Everywhere are His hands and legs, His eyes and faces, and He hears everything. In this way the Supersoul exists.”

” The Supersoul is the original source of all senses, yet He is without senses. He is unattached, although He is the maintainer of all living beings. He transcends the modes of nature, and at the same time He is the master of all modes of material nature.”

” The Supreme Truth exists both internally and externally, in the moving and nonmoving. He is beyond the power of the material senses to see or to know. Although far, far away, He is also near to all. ”

” Although the Supersoul appears to be divided, He is never divided. He is situated as one. Although He is the maintainer of every living entity, it is to be understood that He devours and develops all. ”

” He is the source of light in all luminous objects. He is beyond the darkness of matter and is unmanifested. He is knowledge, He is the object of knowledge, and He is the goal of knowledge. He is situated in everyone’s heart.”

(BG 13.14-18)

” I am the Self, O Gudakesa, seated in the hearts of all creatures. I am the beginning, the middle and the end of all beings. ” (BG 10.20)

>> This Self refered to the Supersoul and not the individual soul.

“Both the Supersoul [Paramatma] and the atomic soul [jivatma] are situated on the same tree of the body within the same heart of the living being, and only one who has become free from all material desires as well as lamentations can, by the grace of the Supreme, understand the glories of the soul.” (Katha Upanisad 1.2.20).

Furthermore both the Katha Upanisad and Svetasvatara Upanisad confirm this:

“Although the two birds are in the same tree, the eating bird is fully engrossed with anxiety and moroseness as the enjoyer of the fruits of the tree. But if in some way or other he turns his face to his friend who is the Lord and knows His glories–at once the suffering bird becomes free from all anxieties.”

Now lets see what Al-Quran has to say-

Allah enters into everyone’s hearts:

“Say: “If I am astray, I only stray to the loss of my own soul: but if I receive guidance, it is because of the inspiration of my Lord to me: it is He Who hears all things, and is (ever) near.” (34.50)

“It was We Who created man, and We know what dark suggestions his soul makes to him: for We are nearer to him than (his) jugular vein. ” (50.16)

” And He is with you wheresoever ye may be. And Allah sees well all that ye do. “(57.4)

” But We are nearer to him than ye, and yet see not,”(56.85)

“…..He has full knowledge of the secrets of (all) hearts. “(57.6)

“………… and know that Allah cometh in between a man and his heart,……”(8.24)

>> What is Bhagavan ?

The word Bhagavan means “the person who possesses all the divine attributes or opulences (bhaga),” all wealth, all power, all fame, all beauty, all knowledge, and all renunciation to an infinite degree.

Bhagavan refers to the Personality of Godhead. According to Vedic philosophy and Al-Quran as we have seen, that God is impersonal absolute light or all-pervasive Supersoul. But both of them don’t end the description here. They continue like this:

Al-Quran:

Remember I quoted a verse 24.35 where it was written Allah is light but then it was immediately said that Allah possesses light.

Let me reproduce the relevant portion of the verse-

First part says:

Allaahu Nuurus….

Allah is light

Then it continues

Masalu Nuurihii……

Nuurihii means “His light”.

So Allah is not only light but also possesses light.

Allah has personal relationships:

He guides- (24.35)&(7.155)

He punishes- (7.156) & (8.52) (7.165) (8.16)

He protects and takes care- (2.257)(6.102)

He teaches- (2.282)

He remembers-(2.152)

Allah has personal feelings:

Allah loves-(3.159)(9.100)(9.117)

Allah reciprocates with His personal devotees- Story about the messenger of God, Joseph that Allah narrated to the Holy Prophet Mohammad.(12.4-101)

Certainly all this requires senses, mind and intelligence to be displayed hence we should at least start to think that Allah is a person also.

Allah has personal desires:

10.107,2.40-41.

Allah has personal memory:

2.152,58.7,20.52

Allah has personal features:

10.21,10.32,10.60,12.100,12.98,14.47,20.5, 22.40,22.60,4.147,40.12

Allah plays different personal parts:

2.257,3.98,10.109,11.107,12.66, 13.16, 20.114, 22.78, 33.52, 2.233,35.31,59.23,59.24,6.57

Allah has personal will:

5.17,19.35,85.16

Allah is the living one:

2.255,40.65,2.20,22.40

Allah has personal faculty of speech:

2.30,12.3

Allah has personal faculty of hearing:

2.224,24.21

Allah has personal faculty of sight:

2.233,34.11

Allah has personal identity:

51.56-57

Allah has personal knowledge:

24.35,6.59

Allah is the best person[Bhagavan]

8.30,22.58

Allah has a face:

6.52,13.22,18.28,30.38,30.39,2.115,28.88,55.26-27

Allah has hands:

39.67,38.75,3.73,67.1,48.10,5.67

Allah has an IMAGE:

16.60.

” It is He Who begins (the process of) creation; then repeats it; and for Him it is most easy. To Him belongs the loftiest similitude (we can think of) in the heavens and the earth: for He is Exalted in Might, full of wisdom. “(30.27)

So according to Holy Quran Allah has a form whcih is Absolute, Spiritual, infallible, most beautiful and transcendental to all kind of material conceptions, free from even a tinge of material contamination.

This is the form which possess light. And this is the person who knows the deepest secrets of our hearts.

Although Holy Quran just gives an idea that God ultimately possesses a form but the Vedic literature just gives more details of this form giving the specific information.

Now lets see what Vedic literature has to say:

” Krishna who is known as Govinda is the Supreme Godhead. He has an eternal blissful spiritual body. He is the origin of all. He has no other origin and He is the prime cause of all causes.” (Brahma Samhita 1)

Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati a great devotee and spiritual master write in purport to this verse-Krishna is the exalted Supreme entity having His eternal name, eternal form, eternal attribution and eternal pastimes. The very name “Krishna” implies His love-attracting designation, expressing by His eternal nomenclature the acme of entity. His eternal beautiful heavenly blue-tinged body glowing with the intensity of ever-existing knowledge has a flute in His hands. As His inconceivable spiritual energy is all-extending, still He maintains His all-charming medium size by His qualifying spiritual instrumentals. His all-accommodating supreme subjectivity is nicely manifested in His eternal form. The concentrated all time presence, uncovered knowledge and inebriating felicity have their beauty in Him. The mundane manifestive portion of His own Self is known as all-pervading Paramatma, Isvara (Superior Lord) or Vishnu (All-fostering). Hence it is evident that Krishna is sole Supreme Godhead. His unrivaled or unique spiritual body of super excellent charm is eternally unveiled with innumerable spiritual instrumentals (senses) and unreckonable attributes keeping their signifying location properly, adjusting at the same time by His inconceivable conciliative powers. This beautiful spiritual figure is identical with Krishna and the spiritual entity of Krishna is identical with His own figure.

” I worship Govinda, the primeval Lord, who is adept in playing on His flute, with blooming eyes like lotus petals with head decked with peacock’s feather, with the figure of beauty tinged with the hue of blue clouds, and His unique loveliness charming millions of Cupids. “(BS 30)

” I worship Govinda, the primeval Lord, round whose neck is swinging a garland of flowers beautified with the moon-locket, whose two hands are adorned with the flute and jeweled ornaments, who always revels in pastimes of Lowe, whose graceful threefold-bending form of Syamasundara is eternally manifest. “(BS 31)

“I worship Govinda, the primeval Lords whose transcendental form is full of bliss, truth, substantiality and is thus full of the most dazzling splendor. Each of the limbs of that transcendental figure possesses in Himself, the full-fledged functions of all the organs, and eternally sees, maintains and manifests the infinite universes, both spiritual and mundane.”

(BS 32)

“I worship the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Govinda [Krsna], who is the original person–absolute, infallible, without beginning. Although expanded into unlimited forms, still the same original, the oldest, and the person always appearing as a fresh youth. Such eternal, blissful, all-knowing forms of the Lord are usually understood by the best Vedic scholars, but they are always manifest to pure, unalloyed devotees.” (BS 33)

” He is an undifferentiated entity as there is no distinction between potency and the possessor thereof. In His work of creation of millions of worlds, His potency remains inseparable. All the universes exist in Him and He is present in His fullness in every one of the atoms that are scattered throughout the universe, at one and the same time. Such is the primeval Lord whom I adore. “(BS 35)

“I worship Govinda, the primeval Lord, who is the absolute substantive principle being the ultimate entity in the form of the support of all existence whose external potency embodies the thr eefold mundane qualities, viz., sattva, rajas and tamas and diffuses the Vedic knowledge regarding the mundane world.” (BS 41)

“The Supreme Lord is the controller of all other controllers, and He is the greatest of all the diverse planetary leaders. Everyone is under His control. All entities are delegated with particular power only by the Supreme Lord; they are not supreme themselves. He is also worshipable by all demigods and is the supreme director of all directors. Therefore, He is transcendental to all kinds of material leaders and controllers and is worshipable by all. There is no one greater than Him, and He is the supreme cause of all causes.”

“He does not possess bodily form like that of an ordinary living entity. There is no difference between His body and His soul. He is absolute. All His senses are transcendental. Any one of His senses can perform the action of any other sense. Therefore, no one is greater than Him or equal to Him. His potencies are multifarious, and thus His deeds are automatically performed as a natural sequence.” (Svetasvatara Upanisad 6.7-8)

Again in the svetasvatra Upanisad

“In the material world Brahma, the primeval living entity within the universe, is understood to be the supreme amongst the demigods, human beings and lower animals. But beyond Brahma there is the Transcendence who has no material form and is free from all material contaminations. Anyone who can know Him also becomes transcendental, but those who do not know Him suffer the miseries of the material world.”

“I know that Supreme Personality of Godhead who is transcendental to all material conceptions of darkness. Only he who knows Him can transcend the bonds of birth and death. There is no way for liberation other than this knowledge of that Supreme Person.

“There is no truth superior to that Supreme Person because He is the supermost. He is smaller than the smallest, and He is greater than the greatest. He is situated as a silent tree, and He illumines the transcendental sky, and as a tree spreads its roots, He spreads His extensive energies.” Svetasvatara Upanisad(3.8-9)

“I offer my respectful obeisances to Sri Krishna, whose form is eternal and full of knowledge and bliss, who is the rescuer from distress, who is understood by Vedanta, who is the supreme spiritual master, and who is the witness in everyone’s heart.”(Gopal Tapani Upanisad 1.1)

” One should meditate upon the Supreme Person as the one who knows everything, as He who is the oldest, who is the controller, who is smaller than the smallest, who is the maintainer of everything, who is beyond all material conception, who is inconceivable, and who is always a person. He is luminous like the sun and, being transcendental, is beyond this material nature. “(BG 8.9)

Visnu Purana(1.9.69):

“Whoever comes before You, be he a demigod, is created by You, O Supreme Personality of Godhead.”

” Although fixed in His abode, the Personality of Godhead is swifter than the mind and can overcome all others running. The powerful demigods cannot approach Him. Although in one place, He controls those who supply the air and rain. He surpasses all in excellence.” (Isopanisad 4)

“The Supreme Lord walks and does not walk. He is far away, but He is very near as well. He is within everything, and yet He is outside of everything.”(Isopanisad 5)

“Such a person must factually know the greatest of all, the Personality of Godhead, who is unembodied, omniscient, beyond reproach, without veins, pure and uncontaminated, the self-sufficient philosopher who has been fulfilling everyone’s desire since time immemorial. ”

(Isopanisad 8)

Srila Prabhupada writes in His purport to the above verse-

Here is a description of the transcendental and eternal form of the Absolute Personality of Godhead. The Supreme Lord is not formless. He has His own transcendental form, which is not at all similar to the forms of the mundane world. The forms of the living entities in this world are embodied in material nature, and they work like any material machine. The anatomy of a material body must have a mechanical construction with veins and so forth, but the transcendental body of the Supreme Lord has nothing like veins. It is clearly stated here that He is un-embodied, which means that there is no difference between His body and His soul. Nor is He forced to accept a body according to the laws of nature, as we are. In materially conditioned life, the soul is different from the gross embodiment and subtle mind. For the Supreme Lord, however, there is never any such difference between Him and His body and mind. He is the Complete Whole, and His mind, body and He Himself are all one and the same.

These are the few verses from the Vedic literature that describes the Transcendental form of Person of God.

So we see that Al-quran tells that Allah is light and Vedic literature confirms this as well. Then we see that Al-Quran says Allah possesses light. Similarly Vedic scripture says:

“And I am the basis of the impersonal Brahman, which is the constitutional position of ultimate happiness, and which is immortal, imperishable and eternal. ”

(BG 14.27)

Here Lord Krishna says that the all pervading dazzling impersonal spiritual effulgence is nothing but glow of Transcendental Personality. So Allah or Krishna’s Transcendental Personality’s glow constitutes impersonal Brahman.

This is further verified in Brahma Samhita:

” I worship Govinda, the primeval Lord, whose effulgence is the source of the nondifferentiated Brahman mentioned in the Upanisads, being differentiated from the infinity of glories of the mundane universe appears as the indivisible, infinite, limitless, truth.”(Text 40)

” O my Lord, sustainer of all that lives, Your real face is covered by Your dazzling effulgence. Kindly remove that covering and exhibit Yourself to Your pure devotee. ”

(Isopanisad 15)

In the prayers of Kunti in the Srimad-Bhagavatam (1.8.18) it is said that the Lord is covered by the curtain of yoga-maya and thus ordinary people cannot understand Him. Kunti prays: “O my Lord, You are the maintainer of the entire universe, and devotional service to You is the highest religious principle. Therefore, I pray that You will also maintain me. Your transcendental form is covered by the yoga-maya. The brahmajyoti is the covering of the internal potency. May You kindly remove this glowing effulgence that impedes my seeing Your sac-cid-ananda-vigraha, Your eternal form of bliss and knowledge.”

As Allah’s Nur is the light of all luminaries similarly it has been stated by

Vedic literature that Krishna’s effulgence is light of all lights as verified in the verses from upanisads and Gita stated above.

So now we can safely conclude that God is a Person, Supreme Person possesing transcendental body which is knowledge absolute, never subjected to decay, always youthful. This body is absolute as there is no difference between the mind, body and spirit. Everything in connection with Him is Absolute spirit.

Now lets consider Parmatma. Although Al-Quran states that this very same transcendental form is present in everyone’s heart as the Supersoul Vedic literature talks about this Supersoul as the plenary expansion of the Transcendental personality of Supreme which dwells in all living entities.

In the Narada-pancaratra this is confirmed in this way:

“By concentrating one’s attention on the transcendental form of Krsna, who is all-pervading and beyond time and space, one becomes absorbed in thinking of Krsna and then attains the happy state of transcendental association with Him.”

Krsna consciousness is the highest stage of trance in yoga practice. This very understanding that Krsna is present as Paramatma in everyone’s heart makes the yogi faultless. The Vedas confirm this inconceivable potency of the Lord as follows:

“Visnu is one, and yet He is certainly all-pervading. By His inconceivable potency, in spite of His one form, He is present everywhere. As the sun, He appears in many places at once.”

So although being one without a second the very same transcendental personality appears in the innumerable hearts as many just as one sun appears in many places at once. He is able to do this by dint of His inconcievable potency and since His personality is beyond space and time He can expand Himself into another form and yet remain the same person manifested differently in various forms:

Although Al-Quran covers information regarding God but Vedas goes in Detail explaining that very same personality of Go has expanded Himself into infinite number of forms-

“The one Supreme Personality of Godhead is eternally engaged in many, many transcendental forms in relationships with His unalloyed devotees.”

(Puruso-bodhini upanisad)

“The light of one candle being communicated to other candles, although it burns separately in them, is the same in its quality. I adore the primeval Lord Govinda who exhibits Himself equally in the same mobile manner in His various manifestations.”(Brahma Samhita text 46)

One must understand that Personality of Supreme who is known as Krishna, Allah…

is beyond space and time, uncontaminated, self-effulgent and absolute. When He exhibits Himself in innumerable forms then it is not that He has divided His one form into infinite pieces but each and every form is that same absolute truth Himself. They are all one and same. The example of vaidurya stone is given in this regards. This stone remains the same yet changes it’s color. Hence Personality of God remains the same yet manifests infinitely different appearnces. This It is not that one form is a seperate person than other; they are all one and the same Supreme Personality just differently manifested. For us due to our conditioned existence it is very difficult to understand that how can God who is one without a second remain same absolute while simultaneously exhibit infinte number of forms. The answer is that He has inconcievable transcendental energy through which He expands Himself[His person] into different forms yet remain the same. Note He has expanded Himself into innumerable forms and not divided Himself into innumerable forms. Therefore He is God Himself in any of His form. Logically thinking since Supreme is an unlimited Person therefore it is sensible to accept that He possesses infinite number of forms. There is no limit to Him in any respect. Just as He has inifinite number of names He possesses infinite forms. Supreme Lord Krishna states this as follows:

“Lord Krishna says: There are others, who are purified and cultured souls, who by understanding my different forms as myself, as one personality in various forms and features, worship me according to their spiritual understanding and convictions following the rules of worship as given in the Vedas.”

But originally the form of God is that which resembles Lord Krishna transcendental triple bending form. These forms of one and same Supreme Lord Krishna are identical with person of Lord Rama, Lord Vishnu. Not Lord Shiva or Lord Brahma. What is the state of Lord Brahma in comparison to Lord Krishna is spoken by Lord Brahma Himself:

http://www.bhagavadgita.org/Incarnations/incarnation-61.html

So now you must be convinced that Al-Quran when refers to Allah is only refering to the person Krishna Himself. Certainly there cannot be two different person with same description and paraphernalia.

Further more look at another amazing similarity—

“(We take our)Color from Allah. Who is better than Allah at coloring?”(2.138)

Sibgat the root meaning of this word is color. Allah possesses beautiful dark color.

Actually Allah being the source of everything it is no wonder that some color of this material world should resemble His.

Although His color is not material which I shall explain in a moment. From the above verse if Arabs analogously resembles the color of God then we can safely conclude that color of God is a beautiful dark complexion. But God has been described as full of dazzling effulgence and no dark color in this world is dazzling. This seems contradictory. Actually there is no contradiction if we realize that this dark color of Allah is spiritual but not material. Being a spiritual color it is transcendental to perception and mind and can afford to throw out flashing effulgence. Similarly Krishna is famous as syamsundara or one whose complexion is darkish but at the same time is full of most dazzling splendor. See this verse:

” I worship Govinda, the primeval Lord, who is Syamasundara, Krishna Himself with inconceivable innumerable attributes, whom the pure devotees see in their heart of hearts with the eye of devotion tinged with the salve of love.” (Brahma Samhita 38)

Srila Bhaktisiddhanta saraswati writesin the purport to this verse-

The Syamasundara form of Krishna is His inconceivable simultaneous personal and impersonal self-contradictory form. True devotees see the form in their purified hearts under the influence of devotional trance. The form Syama is not the blue color visible in the mundane world but is the transcendental variegated color affording eternal bliss, and is not visible to the mortal eye. On a consideration of the trance of Vyasadeva as in the sloka, bhakti-yogena manasi etc., it will be clear that the form of Sri Krishna is the full Personality of Godhead and can only be visible in the heart of a true devotee, which is the only true seat in the state of trance under the influence of devotion. When Krishna manifested Himself in Vraja, both the devotees and non- devotees saw Him with this very eye; but only the devotees cherished Him, eternally present in Vraja, as the priceless jewel of their heart. Nowadays also the devotees see Him in Vraja in their hearts, saturated with devotion although they do not see Him with their eyes. The eye of devotion is nothing but the eye of the pure unalloyed spiritual self of the Jiva. The form of Krishna is visible to that eye in proportion to its purification by the practice of devotion. When the devotion of the neophyte reaches the stage of bhava-bhakti the pure eye of that devotee is tinged with the salve of love by the grace of Krishna, which enables him to see Krishna face to face. The phrase “in their hearts” means Krishna is visible in proportion as their hearts are purified by the practice of devotion. The sum and substance of this sloka is that the form of Krishna, who is Syamasundara, Natavara (Best Dancer), Muralidhara (Holder of the Flutes) and Tribhanga (Triple-bending), is not a mental concoction but is transcendental, and is visible with the eye of the soul of the devotee under trance.

Hence the Brahman just being the transcendental effulgence of spiritual body of Lord represents Absolute Truth partially. Parmatma being plenary expansion of the very spiritual absolute form of Lord is a partial representation of Supreme Personality situated in everyone’s heart. Highest conception therefore of Absolute truth is Supreme Person who contains the infinite formless magnitude in His form as His own spiritual energy and expands Himself as Superself in everyone. So it is the Personality of Godhead who makes Himself partially represented by all pervading effulgence being rays of His spiritual body and hence nondifferent from His very person just like Sun rays being emanation from sun are nondifferent from the sun planet itself. Then this same person makes Himself partially present in everyone’s heart as the supersoul. So it is the Bhagavan who is both origin of brahman and Parmatma who is to be worhsipped. One should not think here that Absolute truth is has equally divided itself in the form of Brahman, parmatma and bhagavan. But rather Absolute truth is only Bhagavan Himself. Parmatma on virtue of being partial representation of that Absolute truth Bhagavan is partial representation of Absolute truth and similarly the dazzling effulgence being a spiritual energy of Absolute truth is a partial representation of it only. Only Bhagavan who is Absolute Truth itself is the complete perfection and complete manifestation of Absolute Truth possessing superexcellently beautiful form. Since this form is unrivaled and incomparable and other than whom no truth exists is called Allah due to this reason. Because this very form of the Supreme Person is full in all opulences unto infinite degree it is called Krishna meaning the All-attractive one. Vedas further argue that anyname to belong to Supreme Lord must be indicated by the word Krishna otheriwse it doesn’t belongs to the absolute truth. The reason is that since the word krishna means all-attractive one and any name of God irrespective of the language, culture etc.. always attracts in one or the other way. The basic nature of each and every name of God is that it attracts one or in other word that it is indicated by krishna.

Bhagavan is thus the personal God aspired to and worshiped by the devotees of monotheistic religions like Judaism, Christianity, and Islam and Hinduism.

SO MY DEAR BROTHER MUHAMMAD I HUMBLY REQUEST AT YOUR LOTUS FEET THAT YOU AT LEAST START TO THINK OF THE SIMILARITY IN THE PERSON OF ALLAH AND KRISHNA AS DESCRIBED IN AL-QURAN AND VEDIC LITERATURE YOUR DOUBTS WILL AUTOMATICALLY MELT AWAY AND YOU WOULD KNOW THE CORRECT WAY INSHALLAH!!!!!

Towards the end I beg for mercy and forgiveness if I have knowingly or unknowingly hurt anyone’s sentiments. I being a servant of all servants of Krishna accept all religions that professes love unto Supreme as the only way for perfect liberation bonafide.

All glories to Sri Sri Guru and Gauranga

Your Servant Always

103 Responses to Allah and Krishna Are The Same Person

  1. Irfan Pathan says:

Allah and Krishna are not same person.Allah is creator of everything including heavens, earth,Jinns and Angels, animals, plants, humans etc.
Allah will resurrect all people on the day of judgement.
Many times people consider Jinns as Gods and Goddesses and worship them.
All Prophets(peace be upon them all) from Prophet Adam alaihisalam to Prophet Mohammed (Sallallahu alaihi Wasallam) commanded to worship only Allah almighty and the path to worship is shown by all Prophets(peace be upon them all).

    • Krishna is God. So if Allah is not the same person, then Allah is not God. Krishna is a non-sectarian name of God. Krishna simply means “The All-Attractive Person”. So Krishna means the person who has all knowledge, all strength, all fame, all beauty and all renunciation. This is God. The person who has all the attractive qualities in full. So if this describes Allah, then Krishna is a name of Allah. If this does not describe Allah, then Allah is not God.

So you can’t have it both ways. If Allah is God, then Krishna is another name for Allah. There is only one God. Different cultures, different people, they have different names for God, but God is one, and Krishna is the most perfect description, name, of God.

  2. Anyomous says:

Allah was a Arab king who Was impressed by bharatvarsa He was no god
And Secondly Krishna Is Not similar to The Arab king Krishna Is All prevading He Is Only In vedic Cultures As the cause Is All The other Religions Are mlecchas Who Does’nt follow Vedic Rules Are called Mlecchas So Don’t compare Allah to Krishna

  3. Raghunandan S Johar says:

Leaders of all the religions or so called Prophets like Jesus, Mohammad, Rama, Krishna and many others were very good and preached love of humanity but the followers became self centered and intolerant of one another. Islam became intolerant and Christians became proud. I think Guru Nanak who started Sikh religion was right by proclaiming that God created this whole cosmos including earth, human beings, animals and then spread in the nature. This is why he said that treat and respect air as your Guru (religious teacher), water as your father and earth as your mother. Love every human being including all animals. Religions are just only labels unless you follow these principles. There is no heaven or paradise. Human beings grow from nature and merge in nature after death. You may bury or cremate the body no difference.

Are there things written in Koran that encourage Muslims to kill non-muslims? If there are I’m sure they must not have been written by Prophet Mohammad.

Currently there is a vigorous propaganda by some groups in India trying to blaspheme Islam and they encourage violence on muslims. Some news channels do the same. This can cause huge violence. Hindus who do not even understand their own religion, which is Vedic religion, think they are protecting their religion by blaspheming other religions, especially Islam. They themselves leave their cows and calf and beat them mercilessly who are the mainstay of Vedic religion, and they think they are protectors of their religion if they can label muslims as terrorists which is not the case. People with mentality of terrorists are in all religions, they are occupying big, big posts in government. At least, their mentality is of terrorists even if they don’t kill themselves, they encourage their followers to kill.

In present day India, if one talks in favour of muslims, he is labelled as anti-national, people attack him in so many ways. I must say, the present Indian government is encouraging such things.

    • Hare Krishna Aman

The thing is Prabhu we don’t criticise people who are following their own religious process. And it is very good for them to believe in God and worship God, so we do not discourage them and we do not criticise them. However, that is not our business, to get involved in the fight between the Hindus and the Muslims. We are transcendental to these things. We want to encourage everyone, Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Jews, everyone, to chant Hare Krishna.

Krishna consciousness is not a religious system. Krishna consciousness is our original consciousness, everyone’s original consciousness. It is not sectarian, it is for everyone, it is the science of God.

So we should not get involved in these arguments. In the material world people organize themselves in groups and fight. That is what materialists do. So, yes, of course, Muslims will try to convert the non-Muslims and if they don’t convert they kill them. That is their way. The Koran in one hand and the sword. So they say, “Take the Koran, become a Muslim, and are very sweet, but if you don’t they chop your head off.” So that is their way. They have been doing it for hundreds of years, not likely to change now, unless they become Krishna conscious of course.

So spreading Krishna consciousness is the only answer. So we need to become pure devotees of Krishna and transcend all these material designations of nationality, religion, skin color, etc. The point is to encourage everyone to become Krishna conscious and to speak on the absolute platform. Not to get involved in the fights between the Hindus and the Muslims.

Chant Hare Krishna and be happy!

      • Aman Pandey says:

        Thank you very much Prabhu.

I’m sorry for any arguments that may have offended any person of any religion. I should want them all to become Krishna conscious, transcending bodily designation.

        • Hare Krishna Aman

It is not that we will not offend anyone. Actually, automatically, by us preaching Krishna consciousness, the demons will be offended. There is no avoiding that. They will want to destroy us, they will want to kill us. But you know, if Krishna wants to protect you no one can kill you and if Krishna wants to kill you no one can protect you. So the point is even if the demons want to kill us all their attempts will fail unless Krishna wants to kill us.

          So it is all good.

But don’t think that you can avoid offending the demons and preach Krishna consciousness at the same time. And some of the biggest demons, they are the biggest sadhus and religious leaders because this position of guru or religious leader, it is a very attractive position for the demons.

What is islam..it means peace..and what is muslim..its someone who submits his will to God..ISLAM is not something which came with mohammed saw..it was before the earth created…buddism sanatana dharm Christianaty are the like sects of islam…God send many phophets like buddha ram etc before the born of mohammed saw to teach the teaching of god but they got corrupted with time..as we can see many people dont know whats Hinduism hindu mean the one who lives on the side of indus river Actually u and i know its sanata dharm..
●●●●AS WE CAN SAY THEY 33 CRORES GODS..THEY HAVE STATUES BUT IN VEDAS IT IS WRITTEN (LINK https://goo.gl/TUU2Su )

    ■■■■Ekam evadvitiyam”
“He is One only without a second.”
    [Chandogya Upanishad 6:2:1]1■■■■
■■■■His form is not to be seen; no one sees Him with the eye.”
    [Svetasvatara Upanishad 4:20]4■■■
AND IN EVERY SCRIPTURE THERE IS WRITTEN ABOUT THE COMMING OF LAST PROPHET MOHAMMED

SO WE CAN HUNDUISM GOT CORRUPTED WITH TIME..HINDU WERE MUSLIM BECAUSE MULIMS MEANS NOTHING BUT THE ONE WHO BELIEVES IN ONE GOD AND HE SUBMITS HIS WILL TO GOD

Mohammed S.A.W is not the founder of islam..he is the last messenger of god..according to Quran (which is Gods saying) he sended 125000 prophet which bought the message of allah to all human kind…even Jesus is a prophet in..in quran it has written about 25 messengers..rest we dont know..SO RAM BUDDHA E.T.C MIGHT BE PROPHETS
SO AT THE END I WOULD LIKE TO SAY WE ALL ARE SAME AND WE ALL AT THE END OF THE WORLD WAITING FOR THE DEVIL DAJJAL THE EVIL WHO CHALLENGED GOD THE HE IS BETTER THEN HUMANS AND HE SAID HE WILL SHOW HOW WE ARE NOT WORTHY OF HIM….IF U GET TIME READ □□□■■■QURAN AND VEDAS ■■■■□□□□ U WILL GET TO KNOW WHY ARE WE IN THIS WORLD IN WHO IS DAJJAL THE SATAN…

    • There is no ‘last messenger of God’, that is a mistake. The nature of the material world is that everything is spoiled in time. Even the teachings of Mohammad, they will be perverted, distorted and lost in time. So there is a constant need for God to send his prophets and representatives time and time again. And this is confirmed by Krishna in Bhagavad-gita:
      yada yada hi dharmasya
      glanir bhavati bharata
      abhyutthanam adharmasya
      tadatmanam srjamy aham

Whenever and wherever there is a decline in religious practice, O descendant of Bharata, and a predominant rise of irreligion—at that time I descend Myself.

So there is no ‘last’ prophet or last incarnation of God. It is going on eternally. God’s prophets and incarnations will never stop coming…

If vyasadeva has stated this could please provide me the referance for the above statement. I am a neophyte. Please help me understand things as they are.

    • This is history. The Muslim religion is an invention of Mohamad. He has combined some ideas from the Christian and Hindu religions and created his own new religion. And he was preaching to the desert criminals. So you just study the history of Mohamad and his writing of the Koran and you will see it is his new creation with inspiration from his Christian wife, etc, etc. Vedic knowledge is not like this. It is aparusa, not written by any man. It is eternal knowledge, valid in all places and at all times. Whereas Koran, Bible, etc, are explanations of the Vedic knowledge tailored to a particular audience at a particular time. You have to study these things yourself and find out for yourself if you don’t believe me.

    • mayesa dasa says:

I do not know what HG Madhudvisa has said but so far as HDG AC Bhaktivedanta Swami has said–ALL religions save the Vedic knowledge coming through parampara is bogus.

This is actually obvious without having to be said but it has been said by acharya.

It is also said in the Bhagavad Gita by Lord Krsna.

We also learn from the Puranas that Tripurasura a demon was killed by Lord Siva and later took birth as Mahamada.
Mahamada deliberately created his own religion.

Sometimes we call anyone preaching about God, pure or impure, a saktyavesa avatar because of his dedication. But when we speak of pure religion it cannot be divorced from the parampara.

The Muslims invaded India and slaughtered millions. This is history. Therefore it is illogical that Mahamada and his followers were accepting Krsna as equal to Allah.

Furthermore the Muslims reject God as having any form. It is foolish to think that if we ” wish ” all religions to agree–that they will.

      • Hare Krishna Mayesh Prabhu

All religions might save some Vedic knowledge but Islam was not formed for that reason. If you really go into Hadith and Quran you will see that the religion was plaigerised from zoastrianism and Christianity getting a large portion of the facts wrong. Not to mention how the rules Muhammed came up with was to satisfy his own lustful desires. I am an ex Muslim because of this and I have a massive respect for Vedic culture. I have no intention of reconciling the two religions. There is no place in this world for an intolerant religion like Islam.

        • Hare Krishna

Yes. Of course. Ultimately Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu says that the religions of the meat-eaters are contradictory. So, yes, you are correct of course. There are many contradictory things in both Christianity and in Islam. Actually there are also contradictory things in the Vedas. You may know that there are 18 Puranas, for example 6 in the mode of goodness, 6 in the mode of passion and 6 in the mode of ignorance. So you will find contradictions between the different Puranas that give different instructions to different classes of people.

So this is the problem of course for the preacher. He has to find a way to spiritual elevate the people he is trying to preach to. Both Muhammad and Lord Jesus Christ really had a very difficult task. Muhammad had all murderers and thieves and rogues as his followers and Jesus was nailed onto a cross and crucified only three years after he started preaching by his followers. So they were trying to preach to quite a difficult audience. So the Christian and the Mohammedan religions are not very perfect form the point of view of philosophy and science. But they have the correct idea in many ways. They believe in God, they worship God, they chant the holy name of God they pray to God. This is all devotional service.

Jesus said to his followers: “There are so many things I have not told you because you could not bear them.” You know it is true because they could not even bear what he told them, after three years they were fed up with him and nailed him to a cross to die. So that is the predicament of Jesus and Mohammad.

And of course after they left their followers have in so many ways perverted their teachings.

But the idea is good, the idea of chanting the name of God, there are so many good aspects of Christianity and Islam, and we prefer to see the good in everything.

    Hare Krsna Prabhu,
There is a story of a Mussalman in the Narasimha Purana when he got salvation by chanting the name of Rama who was actually saying haram.
In the Nrsimha Purana there is an instance that a Mussulman was attacked by, what is called? Boar having…710815rc.lon
How is that this incident is recorded in the Narasimha Purana? Islam is a recent religion not more than 1400 years old and Narasimha Purana appeared in written form at least 5000 years ago.
I don’t know if I am right but I got the following conclusion : The appearance of Muhammad was actually predicted in the Bhavisya Purana, so the incidents of the mussalmans are recorded in other Puranas, just like the pastimes of Lord Ramachandra and Lord Buddha was predicted before Their appearance in this material world.
    Please clarify Prabhu.

    • Hrishikesh says:

      Hare Krsna Prabhu,
Prabhu, is there any provision for deleting the comments? Yesterday, I was reading Srila Prabhupada’s Vani Samadhi and I found that he has accepted Muhammad and Jesus as empowered representatives of Lord Krsna. So, I did a big mistake!!! I actually wanted to blaspheme Muhammad. I do not feel shame for publicly declaring this because nothing can be more shameful than blaspheming a devotee. Maybe Krsna will never forgive me for this offense to a devotee.
Prabhu, if there is any way, please remove my comment! At least I can be relieved in some way.

      • Hare Krishna Hrishikesh

I have a huge bunch of unanswered comments that I am trying to catch up on today. If I see your comment I will delete it. But it is true of course. Even Lord Buddha is an incarnation of Krishna and he, according to the time and place, found it necessary to reject the Vedas and preach a totally atheistic philosophy. Sankacharaya is an incarnation of Lord Shiva and he found it necessary to preach the totally bogus Mayavada philosophy.

So Muhammad also was preaching in a very difficult situation, in a very primitive meat eating society. But he preached the glory of God and established the process of praying to God and chanting the names of God.

Jesus said to his followers “There are so many things I have not told you because you could not bear them…” Even then the followers murdered Jesus after only three years of his preaching to them…

So it is not very easy for these devotees like Lord Jesus Christ and Muhammad to establish love of God among the meat eaters. So we have all respect for them and we accept them as shaktivesa avatars, empowered incarnations.

Chant Hare Krishna and be happy!

        Madhudvisa dasa

        • Shahina says:

Please, take your pride away, people, God hates pride in any forms. If you cannot recognize Supreme Lord’s words in Koran it means that you are spiritually blind. And Prophet Mohammad has one of the highest possitions in the eyes of Allah, same as Jeasus. He was a truly messanger of Allah. Shame on you to tell anything wrong about Him and Holy Words of our beloved God in Holy Koran.

          • I have not said anything bad about Allah or Prophet Mohammad or Lord Jesus Christ. Allah is God, Krishna and Prophet Mohammad and Lord Jesus Christ are both most certainly messengers of Allah (God, Krishna). Both the Prophet Mohammad and Lord Jesus Christ are avatars, or empowered incarnations of Krishna [Allah, God]. So we worship them as being non-different from God. They are not limited, but the point is their followers at the time did not have a very developed civilization. Prophet Mohammad was preaching to bandits in the desert and Lord Jesus Christ was preaching to fishermen. Jesus, for example, lamented ‘there are so many things I have not told you because you could not bear them.’

So the point is both Prophet Mohammad and Lord Jesus Christ were limited as to how much they could teach their followers because of the limitations of thier followers. You know in the case of Jesus he only got to preach for a few years and then the followers nailed him to a cross. There is an English saying, “When you have friends like that who needs enemies…”.

So that is the point. The presentations of the Prophet Mohammad in the Koran and of Lord Jesus Christ in the Bible are limited by the ability of their followers to understand, comprehend and follow at the time. They are not eternal. There is time when the Koran was compiled and there is a time when the Bible was compiled, and they were compiled to suit a certain group of people in a certain social situation at a certain time. But the Vedic literatures are not like that. They are apaurusa, it means not written by any man. They descend from the spiritual world, they are not presented for any particular time or audience, but are eternally relevant to all people in all times and places.

So the comment by Lord Caitanya that the scriptures of the meat eaters are contradictory is of course correct. If you honestly read the Koran and Bible you will find many contradictions. In the case of Koran the older parts were written in Mecca and the other parts were written later in Medina, and if you compare the two parts you will find many contradictions between the earlier teachings and the later teachings. Because Mohammad was preaching to different people in different situations so he presented things differently. A similar thing happens in the Bible. There is Old Testament and New Testament. So if you compare old and new testaments you will also find many contradictions.

This is the way it is. It is not a criticism of either Lord Jesus Christ or Prophet Mohammad. They both perfectly presented what was needed by the people they were preaching to in the place and time they were preaching.

@crystostom You make a very good point re Muslims and “non-believers” which is a fundamental truth. They have misinterpreted the historical and religious context of Islam, and the “non-believers” passages of the Quran. You’re absolutely right, all the religions of the world, have the same God. They are all on the same paths, but just with different belief system rituals, different prophets fitting for each people, place and time. But the One God, is the same God, in all religions, whether it be Islam, Christianity, Sikhism, Judaism etc. It’s a mistake (and an act against god) for Muslims to attack non-Muslims of other religions, as non-believers.

  16. Paul Rogers says:

In Sikhism, God is a non-entity, formless, not a person or being in the sense we can comprehend, but rather an omnipresent presence:

The opening of the scripture tells us about the description of God: “God is One. He is the Supreme Truth. He the Creator, is without fear and without hate. He is immortal. He is neither born and nor does He die. By Guru’s grace shall He be met. Chant And Meditate on His Name. In the beginning, He was the Truth. Throughout the ages, He has been the Truth. He is the Truth now and He shall be the Truth forever” (Guru Granth Sahib Ji, 1).

The most important aspect of being a Sikh, is to understand that, there is one endless God. He is indescribable, inestimable, indubitable, infallible, intangible, imperishable, immutable, immortal, immaculate, immanent, unconquerable, unique, formless, fearless, deathless, timeless, ageless, compassionate, omnipresent and creator of all. “There is only the One Supreme Lord; there is no other at all. Spirit, soul and body, all belong to Him; whatever pleases His Will, comes to pass” (Guru Granth Sahib Ji, 45).

I when born was not following any religion, but when I started to grow ol, I could hear my soul’s voice. Then I started to know more about got and how does he look and what does he do and stuff like that. Then the desire of finding him increased and one day my subconscious mind answered all my questions. I saw a pure form of light which I had never seen in my life, that pure form of light was emitting different color of lights and like some fusion reaction there were packet of lights coming out of it, some were big packets and some were small packet of lights of different color and size. Some light packets were again getting separated and turning into smaller packet, but after a while those small packets of life were moving(blending) into various bodies of plants, humans, animals, water, mountains, sea, trees, soil, stones, and each bit of universe. I was surprised and confused on this strange kind of dream I have been dreaming. I woke up with 10000s of questions in my mind and went to my elders to seek answer but none of the answers were satisfactory, so I decided to find it by myself. I started looking ans in oldest religious books and then I found the answer in Rig Veda books, I was not a scholar nor Hindu to understand those so I went to one temple near my house and met a old man there, and he explained me the logic and rituals behind religions and told me that I might have discovered parmathamas true form which can only be felt and cannot be compared or explained to anyone else. He opened and showed me a page Gita which described Krishna in the same way as I had seen in my dreams. And now when I see comments in this website my understanding and imagination seems as real. Rituals are applicable in certain regions where they are formed and we should not blindly follow them until they are applicable to our living environment.

  20. Srija says:

Please clarify one doubt for me. In the Quran it says that you must believe in judgement day and that worship nobody but Allah. Reincarnation is not believed. Why is this? If Allah was truly Lord Krishna, then howcome He says that reincarnation is not real and that if you don’t believe in the last revelation then you will go to hellfire and suffer? Why does it say this in the Holy Quran?

    • Hare Krishna Srija

If Allah is God, the Supreme Person, then Allah is Krishna. Krishna is not a particular person’s name. It is a Sanskrit word that means “The all-attractive person”. So it means the person who has all the attractive qualities in full. You know if you see a beautiful person you are attracted to that person, if someone is very wealthy people are attracted to that person. There are six things that we find attractive: beauty, knowledge, strength, wealth, fame and renunciation. Even if some ordinary mundane person possesses one of these opulences people are attracted to him. For example if some famous actor is walking out in public so many will be attracted to him and be asking him for his autograph, etc… So if you can understand that the word “Krishna” simply means the person who has all of these six opulences in full then you will understand that Allah is Krishna. Allah has all knowledge, all strength, all fame, all beauty and all wealth and all renunciation. So if Allah is God then Allah is Krishna, he possesses all the attractive qualities in full. Krishna is not a sectarian word, it is not a HIndu word. Krishna is simply a perfect description of God. So if Allah is God then Allah is Krishna.

As far as the teachings of the Quran that is not an eternal book. It was presented at a certain time in history and in a particular culture and political situation. So the knowledge that is presented in the Quran is according to the time and the place and the ability of the people it was presented to to understand. There are many incarnations of Krishna and they do not all preach in exactly the same way. Krishna appears in a particular society and preaches according to what the people need to hear at that particular time to help them advance spiritually. But beyond all these presentations of spiritual knowledge that are according to time and circumstances is the Vedas. Veda means knowledge and in the Vedas you will find all spiritual and also material knowledge. The Vedas is eternally existent. They appeared with the creation of the universe and they do not change. The knowledge presented in the Vedas is absolute and never changes. It is not presented according to a particular time and circumstances. It may be that in the Quran there is no mention of reincarnation, but there are so many things that are in the Vedas that are not mentioned in the Quarn, Quran is a small book. a summary of spiritual knowledge only. There is no space in such a small book for any great detailed explanations. But the Vedas is vast. Thousands of books covering every aspect of knowledge in the most minute detail. So you can get an introduction from the Quran and if you follow the Qyran also that is very nice but if you want to dig deeper into spiritual knowledge then that deeper knowledge is available in the Vedas.

So the fact is that reincarnation is real. We are all eternal spirit souls and the time of death means the soul does not die, the soul is transferred into another body or liberated at the time of death depending on his consciousness at the time of death. This takes a bit of effort to explain and a bit of intelligence to understand so it may be that at the time the Quran was written the author did not want to get into all these details. But he has summarized it and I think you will find in the Quran that the soul is eternal and at the time of death you can go to heaven or hell. So that is a simplification of reincarnation. The simplification is made according to the time and place when the Quran was written so it can be easily understood by the people at that time. But if you want more details you will find them in the Vedas.

Chant the name of God and be happy!

Tat ignorant person cannot understand tat vyasa dev is also the incarnation of Krishna ,so hw can he became a man ?. it is not possible to write a man abt krishna. KRISHNA can become mny forms but he remains the same 100% his power never becms less. tats y v cal him BHAGWAN.
BHAGWAN mean hving the six opulence tat is he must be full of knowledge, full of power, full of beauty, full of fame, full of wealth, full of renunciation and that nly KRISHNA having.
Many ppl say tat KRISHNA steals but no one say tat wt KRISHNA gven, a person who steal never gives anything.wn KRISHNA took fruits from an old women instead of gving money he filled her fruits basket wth gold, diamonds, rubies, pearls.wn his friend sudama given only a few rice as gift instead of tat he was giving heaven ,earth and his abode also. he was giving but mata rukmini stoped Krishna not to gve his abode. SO TAT IS THE MEARCY OF KRISHNA. Krishna never steals, all gopies wanted the butter to be stolen by KRISHNA so they keep the butter and Krishna knew tat all gopies wanted to tke tat butter so Krishna fulfli ter wishes.
Mny ppl say tat KRISHNA hvng mny gopies but they dnt knw tat all gopies are the form of RADHARANI. Radharani is the internal energy of Krishna ,so RADHA and KRISHNA are not different from one another they are the same, don’t think they are different.
Mny ppl thought wrong abt RAAS LEELA ,raas leela means the meeting of soul(GOPIES) and supersoul(KRISHNA).RAAS LEELA is DIVINE as KRISHNA. Raasleela is the spiritual pleasure it is not the ordinary material pleasure , ignorant ppl think that material pleasure bec they dnt knw the spiritual pleasure ,so they think tat it’s a material pleasure.
Mny ppl say tat Krishna tkes the cloths of gopies bt no one talk abt wn droupadi ws in troble ,dushasana ws remvng the clths of droupadi at tat tme KRISHNA nly gven the clths ,then hw cn he tkes the clths of other grls or gopies.

MAY KRISHNA GIVE YOU THE RIGHT PATH AND BLESS YOU

    Sumeet Prabhu
    Hare Krsna

I cannot believe you are equating Allah and Krsna.

Do you know Allah allows sacrifice of animals in quran. So many muslims openly butcher cows and bulls as sacrifice…..how can you say allah and krsna is same person?

On one hand you severely oppose name of Shiva as name of God on other hand you do compromise to accept name of allah….although shiva is mentioned as parambrahman, parmatma and bhagwan in bhagwatam itself!…

Do some more purva paksha of islam before equating them…..

    • saurabh says:

totally and purely satisfied by ur view…………..hats off

    • FluffLover Bravery says:

Ummm… apologies, but as a muslim, I must say that I only ever hear of sacrificing Sheep and Goats… besides, have you even read the Quran? (not sure if cows or bulls are even counted as a sacrifice)

  26. Karishma Shah says:

It doesn’t matter whether you follow the Hindu, Muslim, or Christian religion. If you are developing love of/for God, then you are perfect in your religion. And what kind of love should we develop for God? It must be without any selfish motivation – “O Lord, I love you because you supply me so many nice things. You are my order supplier.” NO!!! We should not have this sort of love for God. It should not depend on any exchange. Just keep loving God… that is the true path!!!

  27. Smeenk says:

God is above all religion. So sad all these tensions and bloodshed in the world between Islam, Hindoes and Christians and so on.

Do you really think that God is a hindu, muslim, christian or whatever.
    God is above all that

It’s all ego thing if you think that your religion is better than the religion of someone else.

God doesn’t care what religion you believe in . God lookes at your heart.

Awake and read a new bible, a new Bhagavad Gita , a new Koran and that are the books of Neale Donald Walsh.

  30. Smeenk says:

And what about Amitabha the Buddha of Infinite Light?

I think this teaching transcends this discussion .

I see lot of similarities between Krishna and Amitabha but that is only a feeling/thought after studying these things, meditating and experience no fanatic vibe.

There is a buddhist text which says aeons and aeons ago a soul (which is now known as Amitabha) reached enlightment more information you can find on internet.

I see a similarity between chanting the name Amitabha and Krishna (see Google) or repeating this name(mantra)

I googled : The infinite Krishna and The Infinite Amitabha.

I read that Buddha Shakyamuni himself meditated on the name of Amitabha and his Pure Land and also teached about this.

I know that is said that some thousand years ago Krishna was on earth but according to some buddhist scriptures Amitabha was completely enlighted before that. Repeating the name Amitabha(there are chinese and japanese variants) will give you rebirth in the so called ‘ Pure Land’ which is above the cycle of birth and death.

I think you cannot ignore this (Mahayana) Buddhist teaching in what we know on earth about this.

Thousands, mayby millions of people are meditating (chanting) on the name of Amitabha

  31. Fasseeg says:

Ambiarsa Dasa i feel you have a great deal of anger towards the muslims and this is not healthy for your preaching. you will only put up barriers rather than meet on common terms and love each other as Srila prabhupad has tought us.

The verse that you quoted that u used to beat the muslims over the head with was actually revealed to muhammed at a time he was at war with the pagans. You see islam might believe in Allah, but remember this is the impersonal form of Krishna.. his advice has wisdom behind it. Remember when Krishna tells Arjuna to fight? and do you remember what was Krishna’s reasons?

Allah clearly stipulates when to fight and when not to.. and if the enemy does not back down.. then the verse you quoted above applies.

This is not terrorism, today muslim millitary groups in the east use these verses to justify their action with the retaliation against the onslaught of the west, but yet the millitant groups in the east (not the rest of the world) have committed offences in the aspect. and not to mention that some of them arent muslim 😐

Im in support of bringing religions together rather that separating them.

Jaya Shri Krishna and Shri Radha
    All glories to Shrila Prabhupada

    Hare krishna

    • neophyte says:

      Fasseeg,
You have the voice of reason in this exchange of ideas. I too believe that Prabhupada would want us to ‘cooperate’ with those of other faiths, not condemn them. Once one has accepted the Supreme Knowledge of the Vedas, they do not require our arguments to defend them from other points of view. They are perfect, straight from the lips of the divine. When you see people of other faiths acting as ‘apologist’ and arguing on behalf of their beliefs, it shows that either, they have little understanding of their own scriptures, or, their scriptures are inferior to that of the timeless Vedas, or both. Prabhupada also reminds us that Lord Krishna does not require our belief or our faith in Him, He is independent of all things, so there is no need to fight battles with others to proof that He is supreme and above all others and that we are ‘right’.

  32. Fasseeg says:

    dear devotees on this website

please do not post mean things to the muslims. Sri Prabhupada never advised this

    Gauranga. Be happy 🙂

  33. Fasseeg says:

Im an ex muslim. i can relate completely with the information shared here. Krishna is not a man. He is the Supreme personality of Godhead. Muslims believe God cannot come to earth etc. Well actually God can do anything he he wants to. And if he wants to take the form of a man then he can do so. Actually when God takes the form of a man his form is not like ours. It is just a form so we dont freak our when we see him. His colour is not like ours, Krishna is dark bluish colour similar to that of a dark monsoon cloud. With his many appearances he made on earth he never reveals that he is God but only to his pure devotees. Krishna in the form of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu came 500 years ago and had a golden complexion. that is because he is Krishna and Radha and Rhadarani has a golden complexion.

Yes Krishna has parents. Actually he has infinite parents. This is the nature of the highest heaven. Muslims call it Jannatul Firdous, Vaisnavas call it Goloka Vrindavan. when you die and take birth in the highest heaven you will find that nobody sees God as the Supreme. that everyone relates to him as a friend, brother, neighbor, guru, deciple, mother, father, child, etc. which ever way your heart desires to relate to Krishna, that is how it will be. and there for krishna has infinite mothers, fathers, etc.

When Krishna took birth in the material world his birth was not like ours. He eminated from the heart of Devaki. He allowed this so that Devaki can do this service for krishna. There are many ways Krishna allows his devotees to do service for him. Mother yashoda is the mother of lord krishna as a service to Him. Krishna does not need a mother, but allows it so that people can relate to him. And to have a relationship so personal with the lord can surely melt the heart and maintain your love and devotion for the lord. God loves it when we do service for him.

Krishna’s brother is not a biological brother, Balaram is actually an expansion of lord krishna. because that is the nature of God, he can expand himself infintely. Balaram played the role of his brother in many of his pastimes. When Krishna took the form of Lord Chaitanya 500 years ago, Balaram took the from of Lord Nityananda. They are both the same person and yet two different persons at the same time.

other expansions of Sri Krishna are Vishnu, Nrishnimhadeva, Rhadarani, Lord Jagganath, even Buddha was an indirect expansion of the lord, and there are infinite expansions, such as the forms mentioned in the koran. This is the power of the lord. he can be many places at the same time.. for example, Krishna came to earth, but at the same time Krishna never leaves goloka Vrindavan.

Krishna is the supreme personality above all other personalities. His name might consist of a bunch of material letters but the Vibration is Trancendental. chanting the name of the lord can increase your love for him.

The Bhavisia Puranas (which forms part of Vedic scriptures) speaks about the coming of Muhammed and Jesus, and all the other prophets. in these stories Krishna doesnt take birth but sends empowered souls to do the tasks. which is great, because the vedas is not against islamic belief. My ever well wisher and guru Srila Prabhupada admired muslims. The Vedas brings religions together, where as in modern times religions separates people. The vedas says there will come a time when everyone will unite under one banner of faith, we will take shelter under the shadow of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu.

Remember when God takes a form, he is not like us. And his forms are infinite. but there is one supreme form, and that is the form of Lord krishna. this is the Form he takes in goloka Vrindavan, the highest heaven. this is also where Muhammed went on the night of Miraj when he saw allah. i ask all muslims what did he see? Allah tells muhammed that there are somethings he should share with his umma and others that he shouldnt. And one thing muhammed held back was the form of the Supreme Lord. People were into idol worship those days and would thus see the lord as a person if they knew th lord has a form.

what we as vaisnavas do is not idol worship, but deity worship. the deity is a mercy from Sri Krishna for us fallen souls who does not have the spiritual eye to see and comprehend the form of the lord. We are fallen souls, after we get liberated and take birth in the spiritual world, we will see Krishna in his true form.

There arent separate religions but one faith with different methods of doing serivice for the Supreme personality. each religion worships a different potency of the lord, in a different way. well christianity is a different story since most believe jesus is god which both muslims and vaisnavas know is not true. anyway.. but you get my point.

hope this summary of the Srimad Bhaggavatam helped a bit. this portion of the vedic scriptures consists of volumes and volumes of books just to describe the nature of the Lord and was written by an expansion of Lord Krishna. Please make a point of reading it.

  34. raj says:

Allah is nearer than our jugular vein.( Quran)

    Compare with this,

” The Paramathma( Supersoul) exists both internally and externally, in the moving and nonmoving. He is beyond the power of the material senses to see or to know. Although far, far away, He is also near to all. ”

  35. raj says:

  36. raj says:

Actually the concept of God in Quran has been copied/plagiarized from many sources including Githa. You can find in quran stories/events already explained in Buddhist and Zoroastrian texts..
Muhammad did a wide scope of plagiarization from numerous religious sources, thats why we see the description of Allah resembles Lord Krsna.
The Quran teaches ” you should not have sex with your mother” .
This clearly proves that the islamist claim Quran is for the entire humanity is an absolute lie, unless if the entire globe population undergoes a biological evolution so as to have intimacy with one’s own mother !

  37. Ambiarsa Dasa says:

Allah tells people to kill cows and eat beef in the Quran Surah 16:5

Here is the proof below in the link

    http://www.quran.com/16/5

Yeah Krishna (Govinda) is Allah. Govinda must mean killer of cows if Krishna is Allah because Allah tells people to eat the meat of cows which is the worst imaginable sin. Anyone who demands people eat cows must be Satan the Devil. Therefore Allah is not Krishna but Satan.

the problem is you dont understand what i said.

how can you say that killing and eating other animals instead cow is OK.

i said that animals which are meant for food can be used for food and what quran said it is not specially cow, you got my point?

you said killing other animals is less sin than killing cow ,think once for yourself (you said less sin,SIN IS A SIN THERE IS NO LESS OR MORE SIN)

for example if you would be in a county where vegetation is less then what do u do dont u depend on other animals.

you must know that boiler hens are only for their meat they cant give eggs.

and again u didnt read my previous answer that cows feel pain when we collect milk and all of us are using milk in our daily life.

if you say that is also sin i dont drink milk that is meaningless

may allah forgive all u r sins and guide u to right path.

and cow in india consider sacred because we drink milk frm cow….she is one of 7 mother of human being as per hinduism
i strongly beleive in allah and krishna too…..krishna never says worship me he simply says perform your duty.. thts why like krishna teaching he teaches that duties are also given by same god. so one must be faithful towards his duty and even pray to him for a second…..hare krishna!!!!and also u should visit jwala ji temple and look at ramsetu stones which floats on water and also see sita kund…..

    • Chris Adams says:

Hare Krishna! “And the grazing livestock He has created for you; in them is warmth and [numerous] benefits, and from them you eat”. This is the verse you were referring to and it doesn’t say anything about killing and eating the meat. It says from them you can eat. Lots of food accepted by Krishna is from the cow. Milk, cheese, and many more. Thank you.

Every living being has a specific purpose for its existence. The purpose, definitely, is other than being killed and eaten by others. In the Bhagavad Gita Lord Krishna says sarva-yonishu kaunteya (BG, 14.4): That means even in the animals there is a soul, so we do not have the right to kill or eat flesh. Just as there are government laws, so there are laws of nature, or God Laws. If we kill then that binds us to Karma, and we will get the reaction. The analogy of Karma means ‘To every action there is an equal opposite reaction’. So either we do good or bad karma, we are still binding ourselves more to this material world. Also just by seeing a meat dish on your plate does not mean everything is ok, there has been so much violence gone into it before you see the finishing product. Krishna says that every living creature is Son of God (aham bija-pradah pita – BG, 14.4), so we do not have the right to kill anyone. If we do not have the right to give life to a living creature we also do not have the right to kill them unnecessarily. A Devotee is full of compassion and he cannot see anyone suffer, even the animals.

  38. Ambiarsa Dasa says:

    Hare Krishna!
    All Glories to Shrilla Prabhuphada!
As you can see it is a terrible sin to call Krishna and Allah the same person. Allah condones Cow slaughter as is seen in Surah (Chapter) 16:5 which is the greatest sin and can only be condoned by the Devil. Krishna is known as Govinda which means lover of the cows. Cows are the most spiritual and intimate animals and Krishna loves them. Krishna does not condone any animal slaughter and cow slaughter is the greatest sin of all animal slaughter. Before Krishna.org publishes these articles I think they should first try to understand the implications of what they are saying. Krishna will not accept the sacrifice of any meat, and most assuredly not cows. Shrilla Prabhuphada has said that Krishna does not accept meat ever period! But he does say that the Vedas were made for all classes of people so that the Sinful Rakshas and Yavanas, and Demons who do eat meat can do so by sacrificing their meat to the Demigod Kali. Shrilla Prabhuphada said this, that if a sinful person cannot give up meat he is advised to worship Kali because Krishna will not accept this. Since in Islam all meat has to be invoked in the name of Allah in order for it to be Hallal, we know that Allah can’t be Krishna because you cannot give meat to Krishna. So maybe Alllah can be the demigod Kali, but not Krishna. Kali is not Krishna but a mere demigod and servant of Krishna. So Allah is not Krishna. Please tell me why any sane Krishna Conscious person would ever even think Allah is Krishna after reading what I have just wrote which are from the teachings of Shrilla Prabhuphada. And besides this Shrilla Prabhuphada never advocated meat eating and said it is advised for meat eaters to eat lesser animals if they can’t give up their sins. But never is it advised to eat cows like the Quran says. Even Kali won’t accept this. You can sacrifice a goat to Kali, but not a Cow, the most sacred animal! Thus Allah is just a Devil! Krishna said in the Age of Kali-Yuga there would be many demoniac religions which most of the population of the world will take to. Kali Yuga started on 3102 BC so Islam definitely fits as a Kali-Yugan religion. Shrilla Prabhuphada described it as the religion of the Yavanas.
    Hare Krishna!

2.in islam it is not there that eating meat is compulsory,it depends on the place what u can get.
3.u should know that plants also have life and soul then what do u eat (veg or non veg).
      4. do u know our teeth are capable of chewing both veg and nonveg.
      5. if u eat meat it can be digested, but if we eat grass or plant we cant digest it(got my point).

7.if the all are not gods then why there is a quarrel between devotees of vishnu and siva in ancient hindu scripts.

You must understand that quran is not designed for the entire humanity .
You may recommend it for the prisonners, criminals etc.
Our flat teeth are perfect for grinding grains and vegetables, not for tearing apart animal flesh.Similarly our hands are designed for gathering and not for flesh ripping. Our saliva contains the enzyme alpha amylase, which functions to digest only complex carbohydrate of plants..this enzyme is not found in the enzymes of carnivores, basically we all have the right apparatus to digest vegetables but not for the sinful meat..
        Awake.realize the true religion

Most of us are aware that our cars, our coal-generated electric power and even our cement factories adversely affect the environment. Until recently, however, the foods we eat had gotten a pass in the discussion. Yet according to a 2006 report by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), our diets and, specifically, the meat in them cause more greenhouse gases carbon dioxide (CO2), methane, nitrous oxide, and the like to spew into the atmosphere than either transportation or industry. (Greenhouse gases trap solar energy, thereby warming the earth’s surface. Because gases vary in greenhouse potency, every greenhouse gas is usually expressed as an amount of CO2 with the same global-warming potential.)

The FAO report found that current production levels of meat contribute between 14 and 22 percent of the 36 billion tons of “CO2-equivalent” greenhouse gases the world produces every year. It turns out that producing half a pound of hamburger for someone’s lunch a patty of meat the size of two decks of cards releases as much greenhouse gas into the atmosphere as driving a 3,000-pound car nearly 10 miles.

    hi madhuvisa Hare Krishna.

just wanted to say that it is better to turn to the demigods for material boons, cause Krishna will never give you any material boons if you worship Him.

    • Hare Krishna Indu

Krishna will give whatever you want if you worship Him.

The demigods can not give you anything unless Krishna authorizes it.

So whatever you want it is better to ask Krishna for it. That is the most intelligent thing to do. The worshippers of the demigods are fools.

      • neophyte says:

        Madhudvisa-dasa,
Perhaps or friend Inu, in the comment above, is speaking about Krishna not wanting us to become more materially entangled by not sending us more illusory wealth and material things to keep us from being to attracted to material things? His Divine grace writes in his introduction to the Gita

“The problems of material existence-birth, old age, disease and death-cannot be counteracted by accumulation of wealth and economic development. In many parts of the world there are states which are replete with all facilities of life, which are full of wealth, and economically developed, yet the problems of material existence are still present.”

  41. krishna says:

Who is the main God different people says about the God some people says allah is the main God some are telling Krishna is the main God and othere are telling other but krishna is the main god allah krishna ram Jesus and other are the forms of the krishna krishna came in the world different different forms . He is the main god amd he is the pure god we are also the form of the krishna . krishna is the absulate truth.

    • Hare Krishna! God is one person. People call Him by different names but they are calling out to the same person. It is the same Krishna that the Christians are calling “God” and the Muslims are calling “Allah.” So it is the same absolute truth.

It is not that worshipping Krishna is worshipping the Absolute Truth and worshipping the God that Jesus is speaking of is not. No. Worshiping the God of the Bible is worshipping Krishna, the same God, the same Absloute Truth.

In India the people know about demigods like Durga, Kali, Indra, Chandra, Brahma, etc., and some people are worshipping these demigods. But these demigods are not Krishna, they are individual spirit souls like you or me but they are very advanced and have been elevated to positions of great responsibility within the universe.

These demigods are in charge of various departments of the material world and, with the sanction of Krishna, they can give their worshippers benedictions limited to their area of responsibility or power in the material world. That is why it is sometimes said in India there are 33 million gods and for a particular purpose the people select a particular god to worship to get that benediction. And this is done in India by less intelligent people who do not realize that ultimately all these demigods are subordinate to Krishna and the demigods can not give their followers any benedictions unless they are sanctioned by Krishna. Actually any benediction that can be had from the demigods can be had from Krishna directly.

In Bhagavad Gita Krishna criticises the demigod worshippers and says they have “little intelligence.” Because they can not see that whatever they want they can get it by worshipping Krishna, but instead they go through all these difficult worship processes to satisfy demigods who have very little power and only have power to give material benedictions within the material world and who can never give one liberation from the material world because the demigods themselves are also conditioned souls trapped within the material world.

From Srila Prabhupada’s Introduction to Bhagavad Gita As It Is:
“Those whose minds are distorted by material desires surrender unto demigods and follow the particular rules and regulations of worship according to their own natures.” (Bg. 7.20) Here it is plainly said that those who are directed by lust worship the demigods and not the Supreme Lord Kṛṣṇa. When we mention the name Kṛṣṇa, we do not refer to any sectarian name. Kṛṣṇa means the highest pleasure, and it is confirmed that the Supreme Lord is the reservoir or storehouse of all pleasure. We are all hankering after pleasure. Ānandamayo ‘bhyāsāt. (Vs. 1.1.12) The living entities, like the Lord, are full of consciousness, and they are after happiness. The Lord is perpetually happy, and if the living entities associate with the Lord, cooperate with Him and take part in His association, then they also become happy.

  42. Jim Schwartz says:

Allah, Jehovah, et al, are not the same as Krishna!

    Allah was a lunar deity.

    Jehovah was a desert deity.

Both claim to be the Supreme. They are imposters, bragging about how jealous or violent they are.

But Krishna is Svayam Bhagavan, beyond “God”, beyond the “Godhead”.

Anyone can claim to be God, but there are imposters.

    • sadmim hossain says:

yes you are right .. Allah Jehovah Yahweh etc all means the lord the God almighty . the Lord whose form is not known to us… but krishna was not that .Allah is never krishna. sree krishna is a human. may be with special powers but not Allah. man may have magical powers but never becomes the god almighty. if human with such powers can turn human into a God then almost all the prophets all Allah are God(naujubillah).

      • raj says:

        Dear Sadmim..
Lord’s form is not known to us ?? Why ? because we are sinners !
Sree Krishna was not a human,He was the direct manifestation of God the Creator. !!
Adam was normal human being, how was He able to see God ?
Didnt you read from Sahih Islam and Bukhari that God made Adam in His own Form.
Dont you know from the Quran that God has eyes, hand, face, personality etc etc..
Your knowledge is poor .and thats why you say Krsna is not God..
While displaying past time on Earth.,He is simultaneously present in the heart of all living beings as the Paramathma( Super Soul ) .This Supersoul is always guiding us to the right path ,but when we eat meat from animal our judgement and guidances are swayed..He,Krsna is also simultaneously present in the Highest heaven ..God is Omnipresent ( Quran teaches you this)..
Therefore its not surprising that you are unable to understand Krsna is God.
Quran advises, ” Man should not have sex with one’s mother” .
Quran is a simplified cathechism for the fallen arabic bedouins, dont expect it to carry the ultimate truth !!
And Krsna was never a prophet,He is God Himself.

now please tell me how you will answer these questions.may be i am a sinner.i tell you i am no holy man. every man sinned.and also krishna.

          “Na tasya pratima asti”
“There is no likeness of Him”Svetasvatara Upanishad Chapter 4 verse 19.
“Those whose intelligence has been stolen by material desires surrender unto demigods and follow the particular rules and regulations of worship according to their own natures.”
          [Bhagavad Gita 7:20]
(God is omnipresent) i think your great knowledge did not understood that Allah is not every where but he sees and hears all.(Quran:42:11).you may say in the quran or ahadith you can find about that God is here or there, well it means God is hearing and seeing you like he is there,in spiritually not physically.like think you are in UK but using Google earth u can c in India or Bangladesh live.but ur need not to be in India or B.desh. when a man can do it whit the help of science why Allah cant do it(He need not any Google/or internet or any thing or other persons help)He is the most powerful of all.
you said that krishna was there when there was nothing.but according to hinduism there were 3 gods at that time. they are Brahma ,Vishnu, shiv, their power are same.krishna is known as a mighty incarnation of vishnu.here u’ll c Krishna is the most mighty but another place u will c the Brahma again another place shiv.again u’ll c none of them are the most powerful. in the sri sri chandi it is durga who was there when there was nothing.so who was 1st durga or the 3 shaktis(Brahma, shiv,Vishnu).
i will b waiting 4ur answer.you say Quran cant carry the ultimate truth.for your great knowledge a small information Quran was not reviled to any Bedouin but the whole world. Muhammad(sa) was born in the highest and(very much like)the royal family of Arab. Allah says in the Quran”This is the Book; in it is guidance sure, without doubt, to those who fear God; “(Quran:2:2)
again Allah said:”No falsehood can approach it(Quran) from before or behind it: It is sent down by One Full of Wisdom, Worthy of all Praise.” (Quran:41:42)
again:”That which We have revealed to thee of the Book is the Truth,- confirming what was (revealed) before it: for God is assuredly- with respect to His Servants – well acquainted and Fully Observant.”(Quran:35:31).so i think you got the answers.
wa akirudawa al hamdulillahi rabiil alamin.

          • raj says:

            Dear

I did saw the link which you had posted.Allah is like nobody but at the same time sahih islam explains that Allah made Adam in His own shape.
You are ignorant of the fact that this is a material world which is dying and decaying everyday,Vedas teach that it is direct reflection of the spiritual world whic is glowing every moment and does not decay..
            This is logic..
Even in the quran,,..is is explained that Allah uses throne, has eyes, has face, hands.
And Also it has been said that Jesus sits in the right hand side of Allah.Therefore..,
What takes it very difficult for you to accept that the forms and shapes which we all have are the templates of the Grand Copy up there in the Heaven known as the Supreme God.
This show that your knowledge and thinkings are too restricted .
Yes its true in the Quran its explained that “Allah is none like anyone ”
            For example..if Mr.A is genious,brave,handsome,richest,healthiest..
therefore its logic to say he ( Mr X ) is like nobody, because he is specially gifted and outstanding !!
If i say Mr.X is like nobody..does it mean that his look and appearance are unknown and does not resembles human ??
Surely you yourself will not agree.. !!
Same concept here- no any life form on earth is like the great MahaVishnu ( the immediate expansion of Krsna) .
His one tiny skin pore is much larger than the size of a universe.Vedas teach that multiple universes appear from His body ( skin holes ).
Later cosmologist prove that universes appear from white holes and absorbed back into “Black holes”.
Therefore what the Quran and Bible teach that God made Adam in His own form is the Truth.
God has the original form, ours are duplicate or degraded..
Thats what meant by ” Nobody is Like Allah”.
And Quran didnt say that Allah and human are of different shape and form. !!!!!!!!!!!
Realize the Absolute Truth ( sanathana dharma) and open your eyes and heart.

            Dear raj,
I am sure that you have n’t seen the link seriously .if you would have then you won’t write about this… it is clearly written that the Hadith that says Allah created Adam (as) in his shape is very weak… that means it’s not sahih Hadith… you said my knowledge is restricted (bla bla bla)…. You don’t know the knowledge that my Lord gave me nighter you know the knowledge that is given to you what we can is just argue and it’s not our main fact so keep that a side.
I totally agree with you with the logic of Mr. X for sake of argument. But you or I are not God and He is different from us.
You said that in the noble Quran Allah have hands, eyes and face. Show me where did I say that He has not got.
And you said, “Jesus (as) sits in the right hand side of Allah.” First of all it’s not from the holy Quran. It’s from the bible.
It’s written in the gospel of mark: 16:19. But do you know that bible is corrupted. We Muslims believe that. Then you may say why you muslins say that bible is the word of Allah? Bible is not the word that was reveled. But those facts that are closer to Islam are closer to the truth because the followers (Jews and Christians) have changed it for their benefit of this world not for the hereafter. Secondly if you really want to believe in this verse I won’t say not to believe because it’s not one of them. (As per as I know). But most of the people mistakes to realize the original meaning like you did. The writer did not show him sitting there. The original meaning is that “he was one of the righteous person and one of the special person to Allah”.
You said about the example of Mr. X. now here listen, Allah does not look like us. Previously I told you lions, birds, man all got feet, faces and bodies. But none match with others.
The Hadith you told me that was, “God created Adam (as) in his own image”. Look carefully it’s his not His. Most of the translators mistook to translate the Hadith. The meaning of the Hadith is Adam (as) was created as an adult not as a child. But most of people will say that it’s His. If you say so then to reply the question the scholars say “if it really is “His” by the meaning of image is not the exactly the same because Allah said that “there is nothing like Him”. So it the meaning will be ‘the attributes of Allah’”. This means Allah gave Adam (as) the attributes of Him not His image (because there is none like Him; image, beauty, wealth, health anything). He is not like us. Now how does Allah look? The only answer is: Allah knows best.
You may say the bible also teaches that Adam (as) is made in the image of Allah. Yes in the book of Genesis: 1: 27. That says so “God created human beings, making them to be like himself. He created male and female,” . Now you may say that see it is what I said. Your reply is given in the previous verse. “Then God said, “And now we will make human beings; they will be like us. They will have power over the fish, the birds, and all animals, domestic and wild, large and small.””.
Here you can easily see that like “Us” or “like God” means the attributes not the image.
And if you look carefully you will find that it’s written “like himself” not “like Himself”
You said that Quran didn’t say that Allah & human are of different shape & form!!!!!!
Yes as per as I know He did not nighter He did say that He and we have the same form and shape.
Realize the Absolute truth (Sanatan Dharma; the absolute religion which is Islam) open your eyes & heart. May Allah show you the true path, the path of Islam. (Amen). Wa akhiruddawa alhamdulillahir rabbil alameen…

          • Yashodanandan das says:

My dear friend Islam is not the Absolute Truth or Sanatana Dharama. Sanatana dharama means , one which was always there , which is there , and will always be there.
If you say Islam is Sanatana why was it born only 1400 years ago ??? Sanatana means eternal. It means , not only without end , but also withou a begining. How can a thing which has a begining can have no end !
Islam can NEVER be Sanatana dharma because it was born because of time , place and circumstance 1400 years ago !
Sanatana Dharma is like an infinite ocean in which other so called religions are born , stay for sometime and then die like bubbles…
Only argument does not help. Realisation of the Absolute Truth by spiritual practise is the most important. That is the unique charecteristic of Sanatana Dharma.
There is only one God Krishna and one Sanatana Dharama. Rest are called “aabhaas-dharma”(fictitious dharma). This is written in Srimad Bagavatam which was written about 3600 years before Islam was born. So you cannot say that we are targetting your Islam. No. Everyone’s got to get their facts right for their own good.
            Hare Krishna.

Allah/God/Brahman are infinity, ie formless but the ultimate.

Any entity with form cant be infinite so cant be called Allah/God or Brahman.

Religions are finite as such propogate finite ideas as such are not ultimate.

The ultimate is only one like a rose by any other name is still a rose.

We humans are all part of Allah/God/Brahman no matter color, gender, religion so live and let live with love is the ultimate message for all from the ultimate infinity.

        • So you are greater than Allah/God/Brahman. Because you have form and God can not have form?

This is insanity. God has everything. We can not have something that god does not have. So we have form. And as the Christians know we are made in the image of God. So God has form and our form is based on His form…

          • Raghunandan says:

I respect all religions but I fail to understand that God as described by so many people means supreme power which has given birth to whole universe and all of us. Why the God has not made all people good and sensible? Why he produced bad people then sent Prophets in the world to teach people to be good? It looks to be totally contradictory to the theories of all the religions of world. First, why God produce bad people then tell them to become good. It makes no sense to an ordinary person who is above all these religion. We all are human beings produce by nature as all other animals and vegetation. So, please do not condemn or degrade any religion and hurt feelings of any body. Love each other as life short.

          • God does not do anything bad, God does not product ‘bad people’. We are all part and parcel of Krishna. We are the same quality as Krishna, the only difference is Krishna is unlimited and we are tiny. So we also have a tiny amount of independence. We can choose to be good or bad, that is the independence that Krishna has given us. Most spirit souls choose to be good, but there are a few, like us, who choose to be bad. So for our entertainment and rectification Krishna has created this material world. So here we can try to be happy independently from Krishna, which is what we want, but that is impossible, so all our efforts ultimately end in pain and suffering. So a thoughtful person, after many, many births of suffering in the material world, realizes that Krishna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead and that his business is to serve Krishna. So he surrenders to Krishna and becomes good and goes back home, back to Godhead. That is the point.

You silly jew. Just because we follow a lunar calendar, Allah is a moon god? Where do you even get this notion from?
