But it is my experience the woman class are not happy in the Western countries. And still in our country, although we are so fallen, our woman class remains satisfied.

Srila Prabhupada’s explanation of the Vedic view on male-female relationships is not based on the time and circumstance of the1970’s; rather, it is to give a hint to future generations on how society should be organized for peaceful living. Srila Prabhupada is revealing the cure for the many social ills that have been created in this dark age of Kali.
Let us not make the mistake of trivializing these teachings, as they are for the betterment of human society as a whole.
When we compare Srila Prabhupada’s statements with our practical experience, we find that they are right on the mark. Take, for example, the following statement: “So-called equal rights for women means that the men cheat the women. Suppose a woman and a man meet, they become lovers, they have sex, the woman becomes pregnant, and the man goes away. The woman has to take charge of the child and beg alms from the government, or else she kills the child by having an abortion. This is the woman’s independence.” [Science of Self-Realization, ” What Is Krsna Consciousness?”]
Thirty years after Srila Prabhupada made this statement, women are exploited worse than ever before despite their independence. Quick sex is the norm, without any responsible relationships, and killing the children in the womb is a multi-million dollar business. What is the result? Take it from Krsna’s friend Arjuna: “When irreligion is prominent in the family, O Krsna, the women of the family become polluted, and from the degradation of womanhood, O descendant of Vrsni, comes unwanted progeny.” [Bhagavad-gita As It Is, 1.40]
Srila Prabhupada explains: “On the failure of such varnashrama-dharma, naturally the women become free to act and mix with men, and thus adultery is indulged in at the risk of unwanted population. Irresponsible men also provoke adultery in society, and thus unwanted children flood the human race at the risk of war and pestilence.”
Are there any wars going on lately? Are there any epidemics in the world?
The other liberation of women is that they are liberated from all their clothes on the Internet. Fifty percent of the oceans of spam mail are from pornographic sites.
Things that were previously done in private clubs are now a street affair. Has this elevated women’s status? Or rather, has it exploited them as a class?
The image of women as the mothers of the next generation of sacred human beings and the bearers of the arts that energize and nourish society has been reduced to that of a disposable lust machine. And speaking of being disposable, the army now wants women on the front lines in combat. Here are your equal rights: Die equally.
And are the women happy? Srila Prabhupada told us: “Actually, in the Western countries we see that the woman class want equal rights with men. And there is. There is no distinction. But it is my experience the woman class are not happy in the Western countries. And still in our country, although we are so fallen, our woman class remains satisfied.”
Our experience is that Srila Prabhupada is correct: The Western women are miserable. Even many Western men we know have married Asian women for a more traditional approach to family affairs.
Of course we must avoid both the fanatic misapplication of Srila Prabhupada’s teachings, like the sannyasis who tried to throw all the women and householders out of ISKCON, and the other end of the pendulum, the Chakra-homosex-is-okay delusion.
Krsna consciousness bridges all boundaries. Anyone in any condition of life can go back to Godhead by applying the principals of bhakti yoga. Certainly this is the essence of our preaching in any time and circumstance. But Srila Prabhupada also points out the failures of modern life, and thoughtful persons should take him seriously, for the acharya’s mission is only to help us get out of illusion and be happy in Krsna’s association.

Prabhupada believed women are less intelligent than men and therefore should be under men’s control. I have seen some Krishna sites on the Internet (maybe it was this one, I read it a while ago) that claim to have studies showing women are less capable in most scientific fields. What’s interesting though is that the intelligence of black men is less than that of white women according to IQ tests, and their scientific accomplishments less than that of white women. What do you make of that? If women can be placed under the control of men of any color due to lack of intelligence, surely black men, who are far more violent on average than whites, and even less intelligent than white women, should be placed under the control of whites. At least, by Prabhupada’s logic.
Actually, white women only score a little bit lower than white men on IQ tests, while black men score substantially lower. Help me understand why women should be under men’s control. Though women are also capable of evil, men have done the most butchering throughout history. I’m not trying to say women are better than men. Certainly I have been mistreated by females as well as males, but morally and intellectually I don’t think there is much difference between them, mainly it is physical strength of which men have more, while the small difference in IQ could be explained by other factors. And again, even if we assume men are smarter than women, white women are substantially more accomplished overall than black men.

Yes. There are different types of men. Brahmanads, ksatriyas, vaisyas and sudras. So these four different classes of men have different levels of intelligence. Black men are sudras by birth, of course they are not the material bodies and can take to Krishna consciousness and become better than brahmanas, as can women of course. But both black men and woman have lower intelligence then the higher caste men.
As far as IQ tests they do not test intelligence. They test memory. Women can have very good memory. Men also can have good memory but a mans memory and intelligence is destroyed by loosing semen. So in this age the young men are very much encouraged to loose a lot of semen. Which is disastrous for the development of their memory and intelligence. So today men are crippled intellectually because of overindulgence in sex life at the crucial time when their brains are supposed to be developing.
It is a very bad situation. You may have noticed that there are no new scientific advancements, no advancement in technology, no good leaders in the world. There are no good men surviving the education system. Today’s education system is designed to destroy the men and artificially elevate the women. Men need to be educated separately from women. Because educating a man is very different to educating a woman. There abilities and aptitudes are completely different.
Modern education is designed for women. It is based on memory only. The teachers lecture and if you can remember what they said and remember what is written in the books and repeat it then you are considered intelligent, then you get the highest marks. But this is not intelligence. It is just the ability of parrot like repetition. Women can be very good at these memory tasks. And men are disadvantaged in memory now particularly because their brains are spoiled by so much sex and in any case a man’s strength is not in memory but in his ability for analytical thought. A woman does not have this analytical part of her bran at all developed. That is why women are not philosophers, women are not engineers, women are not computer programmers, of course they can do things that can be done by memory and repetition. They are very good at these things. Men will get bored by these repetitive tasks.
So you see a man’s brain and a woman’s brain are completely different. They are meant for completely different things. The woman’s duty in society is completely different from the duty of a man in society. And society has already virtually disintegrated because the women refuse to act as women. They want to be men. But this has destroyed everything, both for the men and for the women.

Please don’t tell me indian women have better life or that indian society threats women better these type is statements unfortunately make the organization or person loose their educated validity
There is no question of Indian or Western. Woman is woman. A woman will be happy, at least as ‘happy’ as it is possible to be in the material world, if she marries a husband who is prepared to provide for her and support her and if she surrenders to, loves and faithfully serves her husband. That is the position of women in the material world. To faithfully serve their husbands. There is no other way for a woman to be happy in the material word.
Of course this is all on the bodily concept of life. We are not actually women or men. We are eternal spirit souls within these material bodies. So the designation of man or woman is only and external thing and makes no difference at all on the spiritual platform.
But for those on the material platform, and that is practically everyone, for the sake of the society going on in some practical way, the men have to act as men and the women have to act as women. This is what has destroyed modern society. The women do not want to act as women. That has destroyed everything from the material point of view.
India today is probably the most sinful, the most corrupt, the worst place on the planet in so many ways. It will be very difficult to find anything good there these days. In the Vedas the absolute truth is there and also all the knowledge of how to organize society materially so it will be prosperous and spiritually uplifting for everyone. But Indians do not care about this. They want money, they want material success, they want to be like Americans. This is the Indian disease. So do not expect to find anyone happy in India. They have given up the happiness and in its place they are searching for material pleasure that can never actually be had…

I think your statements only make sense if men are also bound equally by tradition. Women want equality because they feel cheated by tradition and of the unfair responsibility of having to carry all purity and sacrifice on their own shoulders. Whereas men are often free from their traditional roles.
It has nothing to do with tradition. A woman, because of her female body, has certain responsibilities and duties to perform in society and a man, because of his different body, has different responsibilities and duties to perform.
You are correct of course, that men also have to perform their duties. That is the protect and provide for their wives and families. And the women have to perform their womenly duties.
This is nothing to do with India or any particular society.
The whole world was destroyed by the feminist movement of the 60’s and that has turned the whole world in to hell for both women and men. In their attempt to become independent and equal to men today’s women are no longer attractive to or respected by men. So everyone looses. The men lose, the women lose and the whole social structure is completely destroyed.
The man is naturally the leader and the women is naturally to follow and serve her husband. The husband is the master and the protector and the wife is his servant. A man wants a submissive and faithful wife and a woman wants a strong husband. That is the human nature, it can not be changed.
If the women want to be like men then they will not be liked by the men and that means the woman will have a completely miserable existence in this world. Men just use the women to satisfy their sexual desires and women just use the men for the same purpose. Everyone is just trying to use everyone else for there own gratification. But no one is happy. It is hell.
And this hell is created by the feminist movement.

I doubt that women in the Krishna Consciousness movement are necessarily happier than western women. I recall watching on TV a show about the horrible things that were done to children, especially girls in the Krishna movement, emotionally and even physically scarred for life by sannyasis who abused them. Especially the sexual abuse was sickening. And if women were only meant to cook and clean, why did Krishna give some women very high intelligence? Shouldn’t those women be able to participate in the intellectual fields of society? I think it would be a waste to expect women to only perform tedious housework while men are sitting around philosophizing, talking politics and what not that Indian men do.

The boys in Krishna consciousness are attacked by these bogus demons more than or at least as much as they attack the girls. So just because ISKCON has been turned into a dysfunctional den of demons where everyone is unhappy does not mean that the traditional Vedic social system that has worked perfectly all over the word since time immemorial will not work again perfectly if we reestablish it.
Women do not have the analytical abilities men have. They can not philosophize like men. It is not possible for them. Men are more intelligent than women. So the work of a man and the work of a woman is different.
That does not make woman in any way inferior. They are just different from men and have a different role to play in the society to men.
Women are incapable of playing the man’s role in society and men are incapable of playing the woman’s role in society.
The core failure of modern society is the women rejecting the role of women. This is the cause of all the problems we are facing in society today.

It’s true!!! Women are now mixing freely with men and are being exploited by men. This is not an independence of women rather it’s an exploitation of womanhood. It’d better if women take the shelter of Lord Krishna and avoid unwanted progeny to save this earth and make a Krishna Conciousness society.
