I am happy to be a member of Krishna connect mailing list. Being a devotee (I do not know whether I deserve) very much interested to read your mail as Srimad Bhagavad Gita is spoken by Bhagavan himself.
In hectic life style it is not possible to read Gita regularly at home.It is a great opportunity given by Lord Krishna to read Gita regularly through your mails. As I am working, I go through e-mails the office only.
Please keep on sending these mails. Guide and encourage me in spiritual path.

As a working mother and leading hectic life, it is not possible for me to do chanting with jab mala and do proper puja. What I am doing is I go by bus to office every day. While travelling it takes 1.15 hrs to reach office. I close my eyes and do chanting maha mantra. Same I do in the evenings.I also chant while I am doing coocking.
My humble question is will krishna accept my chanting. Kindly reply and guide me sir.

Please accept my pranam Swamiji! Very much delighted to see comment column back!
Sri Ishopanisad is my favourite book! I read many times; Whenever, I am in distress I go through the book and get solace.
I want to clear my doubt swamiji! Even reading spiritual books ie Ishopanisad and other Gurudeva’s books, and chanting etc, and I am wondering why I am unable to find peace? Yes, why my mind is hankering on my materialistic problems, failures?
Now I am clear that this world/this body is not permanent, I should focus on Krishna Consciousness! but at the same time I know I am helpless, and I am bound by my family; being a woman you cannot run away from your family and take “sanyass”. I have to do my duties of a married woman, and mother. Earlier you pointed out that our sufferings are due to our previous karma! Right, ok, let me concentrate on family matters and other problems. If all solved, shall I concentrate on Krishna?
Why I am asking is this, I am giving you example like this, its like I am watching movie in a theatre for 3 hours. During 3 hours I concentrate only on the movie think nothing else! As soon as it finishes, I come back to my routine.. Similarly, While reading or chanting I am really free from materialistic things. Unfortunately, I am unable to continue for long due to my commitments.
What should I do? I feel no improvement in my spiritual progress. After prayer, I think of my failures and worrying all the same? Is it wrong to ask Krishna for success in life Swamiji? Only happy person will be peaceful and he will able concentrate more in Krishna Conciousness!
In distress I am unable to do/concentrate on japa regularly!

My friend, a non-vegetarian claims that no one is a vegetarian, according to him ” Every living thing is composed of Cells. Its a primary building of human, plants(vegetables), fruits etc. A cell has a life in it; it is just that plants cannot express their pain and animal can, we consider eating meat of animals/birds as a henious act? Swamiji I am unable to answer his question; Can you please guide him that why plant eating is not considered as Non-veg? In our brahmin community, some people eat ‘eggs’ justifying its not non-veg.
Please clarify/reply swamiji, so our leaders will be benefited and we can convince a non-vegetarian that what he doing is sin.
