Paramahamsa Sree Sreemad Bhakti Siddhanta Saraswati Goswami Maharaja.

Srila Prabhupada wrote this poem glorifying his spiritual master Paramahamsa Sree Sreemad Bhakti Siddhanta Saraswati Goswami Maharaja. Srila Bhaktisiddhanta was very satisfied with this poem, particularly the line: “The absolute is sentient Thou hast proved all impersonal calamity Thou has moved.”

                                 ONE

                         Adore adore ye all,

                                The happy day.

                         Blessed than Heaven,

                               Sweeter than May.

                      When He appeared at Puri,

                                The holy place,

                          My Lord and Master

                               His Divine Grace.

                                 TWO

                            Oh! my Master

                              The evangelic angel.

                          Give us thy light,

                              Light up thy candle.

                        Struggle for existence

                                 A Human race,

                            The only hope

                               His Divine Grace.

                                THREE

                            Misled we are

                               All going astray,

                             Save us Lord

                               Our fervent pray,

                           Wonder thy ways

                                To turn our face

                            Adore thy feet

                               Your Divine Grace.

                                 FOUR

                          Forgotten Krishna

                                We fallen soul.

                          Paying most heavy

                              The illusion’s toll.

                           Darkness around

                                  All untrace,

                   The only hope

                               His Divine Grace.

                                 FIVE

                          Message of service

                               Thou has brought.

                           A healthful life

                             As Chaitanya wrought.

                            Unknown to all

                              It’s full of brace.

                           That’s your gift

                               Your Divine Grace.

                                 SIX

                         Absolute is sentient

                               Thou hast proved.

                         Impersonal calamity

                                Thou hast moved.

                         This gives us a life

                                Anew and fresh.

                           Worship thy feet

                             Your Divine Grace.

                                SEVEN

                           Had you not come

                                 Who had told,

                        The message of Krishna

                              Forceful and bold,

                          That’s your right

                               You have the mace.

                           Save me a fallen

                               Your Divine Grace.

                                EIGHT

                         The line of service

                                As drawn by you,

                       Is pleasing and healthy

                               Like morning dew.

                          The oldest of all

                                But in new dress

                             Miracle done

                               Your Divine Grace.

“The absolute is sentient Thou hast proved all impersonal calamity Thou has moved.” These lines were presented by me to my spiritual master and He was highly pleased with me. Let me follow the same principle and my Guru Maharaja will bless me. I have always my good wishes and blessings for you all because you are cooperating in a great mission. Thank you.

One Response to Paramahamsa Sree Sreemad Bhakti Siddhanta Saraswati Goswami Maharaja.

  1. vanshika says:

    Hare Krishna!
Really! I have read this poem before but today got it more clearly. All all glories to srila prabhupad! Luv you prabhupad! I have also written a poem for you,
“When iam alone it feels like prone,
Digging in my mind in sand of thoughts.
Like a tilt covering my head, need someone to cover the Corazon.
Many things came many Things drawn,
They say it’s material so it’s gone.
Who were false who were true,
I never knew, he told me a few.”
Ya! I know am not a great poet like my srila prabhupad but this is the reality, what I’ve written.
When I felt like prone, prabhupad introduced me to Krishna and Radhey rani,
While digging in my head I got prabhupad’s books and his association,
Prabhupada came like an angel and covered my head,
Ya I never knew he told me a few!
    So sweet prabhupada!
But I didn’t get one thing, whats this last paragraph ‘Presented to the devotees … sankirtan society’. What is it madhudvisa prabhu ji?
    Respects
All glories to guru and gauranga!
    Hare Krishna
