Dear Madhudvisa das
The quote is from a lecture by Sadaputa dasa.
I was bit confused, as my faith is increasing in Prabhupada, we come to know there a elephants of enormous size placed to balance the bhumandala, so how can we rule out the possibility of a dolphin(sisumara) actually present, about the chandelier, I heard Prabhupada’s lecture as far I agree with you, he wanted to make devotees understand by the example, never asserted though, like he always did when discussing about the moon planet.

Dear Madhudvisa dasa,
Indeed the iskcon people took analogy of chandelier as it, probably in an attempt to broadcast as true disciples of Prabhupada.
But isn’t it correct “Everything in the universe is personal and mechanical.”

Dear Madhudvisa dasa
Is it that devotees start bhakti, austerity, naam sankirtana and so on with an intent of ‘being able to achieve perfection (sat chid ananda) spiritual form and serve krishna’, is it OK to desire an result out of devotion ie not doubt serve Him but get a spiritual body, or do this desire fade away with progressive Kcon?

Hare Krishna Ali,
I am quoting from the same text ( Bhagavad Gita As It Is ) from a paragraph that follows shortly after the one that you mentioned:
But in the present status of our life, we have not only forgotten the Supreme Lord, but we have forgotten our eternal relationship with the Lord. Every living being, out of many, many billions and trillions of living beings, has a particular relationship with the Lord eternally. That is called svarupa. By the process of devotional service, one can revive that svarupa, and that stage is called svarupa-siddhi–perfection of one’s constitutional position.
Hence Krishna expects us to revive our relationship with Him.

The people who were killed in the war, were promoted to heavenly planets. Those who died seeing Krishna were promoted to the kingdom of God. Thus it was an act of mercy of Krishna.
But we don’t have the authority to kill somebody thinking it to be an act of kindness. As Madhudvisa dasa says the order to kill can only be given by God (Krishna) or His true representatives.

If you do want to go back home, back to Godhead, then you will automatically think of Krishna wherever you are – in hell or heaven.

Dear Madhudvisa dasa,
Prabhu, seems like my comments are not been posted after multiple attempts.
either ways, my question:
Prabhu, so far reading Prabhupada’s books, listening to his Lectures, i personally have realized that a disciple shouldn’t override an acharya’s work, strictly speaking in context of Swami B.G. Narasingha’s(Sri Narasingha Chaitanya Ashram-Gaudiya Sridhara Swami connect) anurutti on Bhagvat Gita.
I don’t want to waste your time discussing the politics of the Gaudiya/Isckon/Irm/Ritvik/etc, however preaching with Prabhupada’s Gita what should be our rebuttal.
In case you happen to know if Swami B.G. Narasingha was authorised by Prabhupada to do so.

I have heard Vishnujana Swami’s Damodarastaka – it’s so heavenly beautiful. Glories to Srila Prabhupada and his wonderful disciples.

The book was held by his secretary, at that time Tamal Krishna Goswami. It was his secretary who includes the name into this book.

If you kill yourself in Krsna Consciousness then you are not committing suicide at all. And no, I am not an idiot. I have read Bhagavad Gita. Everything that you do, you do it with Bhagavan in mind!

Dear Madhudvisa dasa,
Studying the science of self realization and becoming Krsna conscious day by day is itself a progress for a fallen soul like me…however the disturbing issue are the gbc leaders which you point out are making their own theories, editing pabhupada’s books, teaching own philosophy in temple during daily classes of bg and shrimad bhagvatam.
after srila prabhupada left the material body, their was chaos(happens to any institution) even ramchandra’s ayodhya had to sent Sita to exile, Krsna’s yadu dynasty was eliminated after Him(leelas of Lord Himself) and so on..my questions to you are as follow:
1)should we visit the temples or not(or setup deity worship at home)
2)if visiting the temple should we buy materials for worship(Krishna store not always preferable)
3)prabhupada mentioned part of income should be offered to Krsna(how in a world is that possible if we donate money to temple & any of these ill-minded leaders don’t use it for their personal sense gratification?)
basically should we trust the present day iskcon temples or not?
…throughout the history right from satyuga till Chaitanya mahaprabhu’s avatar we understand the importance of living Guru.(no doubt prabhupada’s books are itself a spiritual guidance by disciplinic succession).
