I am a class 9 student. Recently, my parents bought me the ‘Krsna’ book and I liked it very much.
I had read Srimad Bhagvatam before reading that. I would like to lend that book to my friend but I wanted to ask whether I could lend her the book directly without her having read Srimad Bhagvatam?
…… Because throughout Srimad Bhagvatam ,Prabhupada has warned us not to mis-intepret some(rasa- lila part) parts. So is it appropriate to give her the book (Krsna) directly? Moreever, she freely mixes with boys but I am sure she will like that book.
Please clear my doubts.

The spiritual texts are given in context of male like not hankering after women, etc. therefore I being a female have some doubts.
It is given that men should leave all family attachments, etc. at the age of 50 and go to spiritual places during the period of Sanyasashrama but what about women? What should they do?
Secondly, I do not know whether to ask you this question or not.- Can women chant Hare Krishna mahamantra during menstruation. I think they cannot light lamps before the deity during that period. But can they chant the 16 rounds and read the books during the period.
Sir, I will surely not mind if you do not answer the second question.

“Life comes from Life” is not a book completely having philosophy like other Srila Prabhupada’s books. It only has debates. But is it equally good for book distribution? Is it as powerful and potential as other SP books? Srila Prabhupada will take charge of the people who read that book too, right?
…And if I am not wrong the Isopanisad link on prabhupadabooks.com is not working. I am not able to open Sri Isopanisad. I am extremely sorry for eating your time.
All glories to your service!

Hare Krishna Aman!
This is the problem of half knowledge. Read Srila Prabhupada’s letters. In 99% of his letters, he tells his disciples that the only way to remain Krishna Conscious is to read his books 2-3 hours a day, chant 16 rounds and follow the 4 regulative principles.
Even not following one of them , will make you fall down because “daivi hi esa gunamayi mama maya duratyaya…”
For what reason then did Srila Prabhupada have to write those books..?
Take it from those who have already experienced…you will definitely fall down if you don’t follow even one of them. Due to sentimentalism, you will chant for a few days, and then without knowledge, thinking that it is a waste of time, you will automatically give it up too! Moreover, Srila Prabhupada’s books are nectar! Who wouldn’t like to read it….Everything is hidden there in the boooks! So read them!
