I am a bit confused about how to seek assistance to make sure I am chanting correctly along with what seems like a million other things in my later life. I understand what you mean about all of the fallen gurus in America and I am not so much looking for a rivtik to initiate me and have His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada Founder-Acharya as my master because I am still cleansing my self of maya.
I know you say read his books and I do that and I accept His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada Founder-Acharya as the spiritual master. But is everyone fallen but you? I do not mean to offend you, I REALLY do not know where to get association from other devotees if they are all on the wrong track here in America.

I just want to say from a layman’s point of view that I can understand both sides of this subject.I am still learning and I apologize for anyone taking offense on my thoughts on this subject. I was raised Baptist and people still worship and speak to God and end their prayers in,”Jesus Christ name I pray”.
So now I understand Madhudvisa dasa’s point of view. Christ has been gone now for over 2,000 years and he is the way for Christians and I can see that Srila Prabhupada can still be the way for Krishna . I am not making a stand on this point, just saying I understand both sides.
