wonderful article! you are correct in all respects! i think it is not worth arguing with dull headed materialists though as you will just end up repeating yourself ad infinitum and they will still not understand. they actually want to believe these nonsense ideas and no amount of sane logic will sway them! anyway, your article is many times more brilliant than moonshine and earthshine combined!

Thank you very much for clarifying!
Unfortunately, I did not purchase it from KrishnaStore.com as I probably should have. I thought the place I did buy from was as equally reputable , but as you say, mistakes do happen. A failing of our faulty human senses!

I purchased a japa mala and decided to count the beads. It turns out it has only 106 beads! Is this to be considered defective? Or is it still usable provided I simply take this into account and still do 108 repetitions per round? Or is there some significance to 106 bead mala that I have never heard of?

Hare Krishna Prabhu. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. Please accept my humble obeiances.
I fond your website very informative thank you for your time and contribution in assisting us conditioned souls to find some sort of spritual life/balance.
My question is one many may have already asked.
When we learn from Krishna and his teachings and from Swami Prabhupada and try and act on these teachings with complete faith then why is it we still tend to give into material desires? How many times can one person stand in front of Krishna and say sorry and then repeat the same mistake and continue this cycle? How does one repent? Does Krishna forgive as it feels we are making a fool of him (not directly) but by keep asking for forgiveness only to do the same sinful act? I understand that we need t control our material senses by chanting, devotional service etc. My material point is – when one does fall and commit a sin even though they KNOW it is wrong and everything is telling them it is wrong they go against everything and still do it and then fell ashamed/guilty? The point here is that one knows with full knowledge that what they are doing is wrong but still do it – so it is not out of ignorance as they have the knowledge they have the voice telling them it is wrong but continue to go against it? What does Krishna/Gita say? Can we be forgiven?
I read what you said (on a previous question and answer) about Christians going to confession and then doing the same sin or they think they are protected by god/Krishna so can do this I am not trying to do this or cover my sins. I am genuine in asking how to gain complete forgiveness and not to commit the sin again as I know it is offensive to keep asking for forgiveness from Krishna and then repeating the same sin how can one totally break free from this and obtain one last chance (so to speak) of forgiveness and concentrate on krishna with a pure heart I dont know if i am making myself clear or not but I dont want to go confession and sin again I want to stop and seek krishna guidance and forgiveness. Further to this I am doing this against all knowledge that I have so it is not a case of lack of guidance but out or pure selfishness and I no longer want to offend Krishna by saying ‘please forgive’ me only to keep doing this.
Thank you so much Hara Krishna.
