Hare Krishna Prabhu. I most definitely have some devotees (two in particular) who have a solid understanding of the structure and working of this universe as well as the shape of the earth. I have been learning from them deeply, so much about this and the 5th Canto of Bhagavatam for the past few months. Shall I give you their information? They have both written articles and made videos about the information. I am in regular contact with one and have created a Facebook Group based on this very subject. Please let me know how I can best get in contact with you. Thank you Prabhu. Hare KRishna. All Glories to Srila Prabhupada.

Hare Krishna Prabhu, Thank you very much for all of these wonderful scans. I prefer them because it keeps the original look and feel to the books. I think I met you once at the festival in Calgary. I am still reading and chanting, practicing Krishna Consciousness and sharing the books around. Also I have embedded an index for all the files in Adobe Acrobat, so I can easily search terms through all the books in the original state. Might be handy for others who want to take advantage of this feature in Adobe. This is a very good resource. Thank you very much for your preaching work. All Glories to Srila Prabhupada.

Wonderful. I wish that I could embrace God rather than work hard. Oddly I have enough money to work less but I still work hard. I can not quite find the balance. I am going to try to come to your temple sometime. I would especially like to chant. I think kirtan is different than your arati – right?

Dear Madhudvisa dasa
Hare Krsna! Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada!
I enJOY your site very much and have read much on other sites about the ritvik “debate”. Although I have researched this so much I am still very confused as to who one can go to for initiation. I agree with you in that Prabhupad wanted the ritvik system, but don’t know of anyone who is qualified and who follows this and is doing these initiations. I have been chanting, following the regulative principles, and going to temple for many years. I refuse to be initiated by anyone other than Prabhupad’s representatives making me one of his disciples. I dare not bring this up at my local temple as the temple president is a top GBC man. I realize that Prabhupad is my Spiritual Master already, but also have the desire for the formality as a sign of my support for what Prabhupad wanted. What a mess not following what Prabhupad wanted has caused. The GBC has hurt the spiritual growth of many. Any information you could give me would be most appreciated.

dear madhudvisa das, please accept my obeisances.
i love krishna.org, and it is my home page on all browsers that i use. it always reminds me about Prabhupad and Krishna.
Forgive me, but i wanna be honest with you…few words
about new look of this website : it is horrible, why u used dark grey colors as a base, it is a tama-guna color!, why don’t u use instead orange as it was before, or any other color in sattva_guna? the site looks like a grave yard, sorry for saying this but that is my impression, very dark, and not pleasant to senses, like krishna suppose to be and always is. and the home page banner, you really should of thinking something better, then this one, it looks not finished very dark and not pleasant. a lot of empty dark space left without meaning. FIRE YOUR WEBDESIGNER, HE HAS NO IMAGINATION OR CLUE!

Madhuvisa says you will become a dog when you die. That’s nonsense. How does he know what you will become when you die? Only Got knows what we will become when we die, and Madhuvisa isn’t God.
The Lord Jesus Christ said, “How can you love God whom you have not seen if you don’t love your brother whom you have seen?” In other words, how you treat others is how you feel about God. It is possible to love animals and other humans. And it’s not an artificial love. I don’t buy this “there is no true love except for KRSNA nonsense. I find it a cold philosophy that is contrary to basic religion and common sense.
The fact is, how we treat others shows whether we have God’s love in our heart. Where love is, there is God also.

I understand your position, but I also believe that when KRSNA says that what web”think” of at the time of physical death we become, is our overall attitude….it’s our mind frame……our accumulated thoughts, perceptions and actions.
I certainly don’t believe that a single thought will doom me to the animal kingdom at death. KRSNA has great grace.
On the other hand, a lifetime of obsession with animals will doom one to the animal kingdom. That I would agree with.
However, there are “sins of commission ” and “sins of omission.” It’s a sin to commit sin, and it’s a sin to omit doing good.
We must do good to All creatures, otherwise we are no better than them.
We don’t do good to dogs, cows, etc. simply because they are “cute”. We do it because we have God in our heart, and because God is in their heart.

Actually, dogs (when treated kindly) are loving. I’ve been taught that they are only interested in sex, food and sleep. But in actuality they also protect, play, work and love.
You’ve said that there is no true love in this world. I disagreed. I’ve experienced true love in this life. God is here, and he is love. He’s in my heart, your heart and in a dog’s heart. Therefore we all experience love.
Your attitude about dogs is odd. Prabhupad says that KRSNA loves the animals and cares for them. We should do the same.

Hello, I am Mark in Houston, Texas. I attended Krsna Consciousness lectures at the Radha-Krsna temple in Houston on Rosalie Street. Prabhupad was still alive at this time in the 1970s.
My understanding of the purpose of Krsna Consciousness is to escape from material contamination. There are so many aspects of this great religion that bring peace to the mind. This peace drives away contamination. Chanting, studying, or just admiring the astounding art are all ways to approach God.
Whatever brings peaceful remembrance of Krsna is the path to Him. It doesn’t matter what you do, so long as it brings Consciouness of Lord Krsna.
Yes, it helps greatly to understand who He is and what His messages really say, but nothing can be accomplished unless material contamination is replaced by remembrance of Him. To transcend the evil of the world is the ultimate purpose. It doesn’t matter how, so long as it is done. This is my understanding.
I never could chant. One verse and I stop and become the word Krsna. I can go no further. Krsna is a transcendental word. It is the most beautiful of all words. Hare Krsna
