It Has Always Been Clear to Me that Prabhuapda’s Books Should Never be Changed…
It has always been clear for me that Prabhupada’s books should never be changed, specially once they were edited and accepted by their author, who used them himself to lecture while present. That is why I am keeping the original version of Bhagavad Gita (1975 MacMillan) and not reading from other editions. The message is so clear when you read Srila Prabhupada’s original but when I try to read from the most recent version in some cases the verses, although once familiar to me, become quite unclear.
I pray that one day all books will be again available in their original form. These books were empowered to create new devotees but the present ones seem to have lost their ability to convince people to become devotees of the Lord.
That day is coming! We now have most of Srila Prabhupada’s original pre-1977 books available including excellent reprints of the original 1972 Macmillan Bhagavad-gita As It Is and Prabhupada’s original 1972 Krsna–The Supreme Personality of Godhead.
Also many of the BBT books, including the Srimad-Bhagavatam, have not been changed and are still the original pre-1977 versions.
We do not yet have the original Caitanya-caritamrta and the original Sri Isopanisad is still being printed. Otherwise we have virtually all of Prabhupada’s original books in print now.

It seems only bad things that happened from changing Srila Prabhupada Books. Why not just write your own books as commentaries of Srila Prabhupada’s Translations?
All I know is that Srila Prabhupada just gave me a message a couple of days ago to “Please save my Books; my Book distribution”. Then a little while ago as I was thinking about His Books He sent me the message that “My Books are not to sell and should be given away!”
Take that to those useless blackstone/blackrock/blackops fakers that stole Srila Prabhupada’s resources, that were ours for Him for spreading Radha and Krsna’s Love!
There used to be laws. It isn’t right to steal from the Lord and His People, and then to initiate illegal takeovers to change records to hide the truth.

I was initiated by Hridayananda goswami maharaja which later acquired the name of srila acaryadeva .
I don’t know if you ever get to answer this letter but I can tell you my concerns
I don’t really know who is who or what anymore but I am not here to criticize anybody because first I have to clean my own house .Of course the horrible things I been hearing it is very hard to ignore or even avoid …..still I try to mind my own business…. but then again should that fall under the category of MY BUSINESS???!!….to know who I am following ??!!!
That is what I don’t know I listen to many srila Prabhupada’s lectures 2.000 but they are unlimited it is very confusing this ritvik business because I heard the lecture you are referring to when srila Prabhupada was asked by satsvarupa
Satsvarupa asked srila Prabhupada who’s disciples were the ones initiated by this appointed devotees ??!! and my recollection is that srila Prabhupada answered :
who initiated them??!!……and srila Prabhupada remarked SO?!>>>> then it seems to imply that these disciples are their disciples and not necessarily srila Prabhupada’s direct disciples but indirectly; or another words the father of that disciple would be the initiating guru and srila Prabhupada would be his grandfather .
I any case regardless who is our spiritual master our business everybodies’s business I think should be to surrender to Krishna …………so as disturbing as this matter seems to be in the ultimate analysis it shouldn’t really ,matter if you are really surrendered to krishna .
Sometimes philosophically things don’t add up or don’t tally but the instruction of Krishna is surrender unto me sarva dharman parityaya so that is what I try to follow
All these analysis might be the mind platform so that is why I mind my own surrender and I hope the best for everyone else

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada!
We have to have a pure devotee of Krishna, a liberated soul, someone who is beyond the control of the three modes of material nature, as our spiritual master. And we know Srila Prabhupada is qualified in this way. We know the 11 so-called acharyas who claimed they were the successors of Srila Prabhupada appointed by Prabhupada were not at all qualified to be acharyas, were not pure devotees of Krishna, were not liberated souls and were not beyond the control of the three modes of material nature. So they were not bona fide spiritual masters.
So take shelter of Srila Prabhupda. It is not at all complicated. It is very simple.
Chant Hare Krishna and be happy!
