Please let me know if there’s a difference between the previously sold black 30 volume set, and this one. I’ve got the black 30 volume set from this website, and would like to know if it’s Srila Prabhupada’s original work. If not, I’d like to order this new set pictured above.

This set is the First Edition. It contains all original color plates. It is a larger size than the small black editon that is second edition and does not have all color plates.
So I do not see any problem with either edition but if you want the actual first edition with all the original color plates then this is what you want. I think you should get it. We need to preserve the original books of Srila Prabhupada. Which means many devotees all over the world need to get the sets and keep them in their houses. This will help ensure that the original books of Srila Prabhupada are preserved for the future.

I have distributed some Indonesian translations of Srimad-Bhagavatam which are printed by ISKCON to my friends who don’t really understand English but I want to make sure that have ISKCON made any changes in Srimad-Bhagavatam also? As far as I am concerned they have changed Bhagavad-gita, Chaitanya caritamrta, Perfect questions perfect answer, Krishna books and Teachings of Lord Chaitanya.

For foreign translations they will never be as good as the original Prabhupada books in English. But if people don’t read English then the foreign translation is necessary. So it will be OK. The general idea will be there. The translations are done by devotees who are trying their best to present the same ideas in the different language.
Srila Prabhupada sometimes gives the example of a “blind uncle is better than no uncle at all.” So it is like that. There may be some fault, but better to have the books in Indonesian translation and be able to read and distribute them, even there is a slight fault, than not having any books in Indonesian at all.
So don’t worry. When someone becomes attracted to Krishna consciousness and wants to seriously study Srila Prabhupada’s books they will learn English and read Prabhupada’s original books in English. The current Indonesian translations will be sufficient to give the general ideas and attract the people to Krishna consciousness.

I got your mail about getting the original volume of Srimad Bhagavatam and Chaitanya Charitamrta.I have downloaded the original pdf of those books from this site.Eventually i will purchase the physical books but for now i am reading Bhagavatam canto one from pdf.Anyway i don’t trust any ISKCON books since they changing books according to their whims and fancies.I even returned the enlarged and revised version of BG and brought one original mcmillan BG.People usually don’t care about if the book they are reading is original or not.I have met some of my friends going to iskcon.They don’t even know about book changes.They just go their for free food but they are not interested in Krishna or the philosophy.So your site is a great help for getting original books because they are hard to get now a days since iskcon screwed up the whole situation.
Anyway did Srila Prabhupada not comment on canto 11 and 12.Does the Delhi Bhagavatam contain those cantos?

Yes. You are correct, many do not care very much about Prabhupada’s books. But actually Srila Prabhupada has given us such an ocean of transcendental bliss. We need to take full advantage of his original books.
No. Srila Prabhupada did not write commentary on 11 and 12 cantos. It is not necessary. Prabhupada has given us everything in his many books. We need to study all of Prabhupada’s books and when we are finished start again. It is a lifetime of study. Everything is in Prabhupada’s books. We will not miss anything.

What is the difference between 18 volume version and 30 volume?
30 volume is Prabhupada’s original Bhagavatam set exactly the way Prabhupada published. 18 volume is new version by BBT with many changes, with most color plates removed. So if you want Prabhupada’s Bhagavatam set it is the original 30 volume one that Prabhupada himself published.

Is Srimad Bhagwatam Incomplete? Are there more volumes ? bcz in 10th Canto Volume 2 Chapter 8 says that 11th Canto every incarnation is describe. So where is 11th canto ? In Srimad Bhagwatam the total books by Prabhupada it is stated (Srimad Bhagvatam Cantos 1-10(50 Volumes) where are the others and what content it has?
No. Srimad-Bhagavatam is not incomplete. Srila Prabhupada has given us everything in his books.
You misunderstand. The point is to hear from a pure devotee of Krishna. Only a pure devotee of Krishna has the power to explain Krishna in a way that we will be able to understand.
There are SO MANY translations of Bhagavad-gita. But the only translation that has ever convinced people to become pure devotees of Krishna is Srila Prabhupada’s Bhagavad-gita As It Is. All the other translations, they have the same verses in them, but the translation and description of the verses is different.
So the point is first we have to find a pure devotee of Krishna and then we can read his books. There is no point in reading books that have not been translated and commented on by a pure devotee of Krishna. The person writing it does not understand Krishna himself, so we can not get any benefit by reading such nonsense books.
So you should be so grateful that Srila Prabhupada, a pure devotee of Krishna, has given us so many pure transcendental books, so many classes to listen to, so many videos to watch.
So you have not understood, the point is Srila Prabhupada. It is only by Srila Prabhupada’s mercy that we will be able to understand Krishna. And Prabhupada has given us so much mercy. So please read all of Srila Prabhupada’s books, read all his letters, listen to all his classes, etc, etc, etc…

customs import duty in india
I have already relied it ships from Australia and no you should not have to pay customs in India but we can not say what Indian customs will do. That is out of our control.
Recently i have ordered wholesale set of 60 king of knowledge raja vidya. but i wanted to order Sri Isopnisada. on krishnastore.in admin or any devotee said that there are not enough copies left so can you tell me that when next time again Sri Isopnisad is going to be printed ? hoping to buy those books in wholesale set.
