Love In the Material World

Regarding love affairs in the material world: they are only shadows or reflections of the real love with Krishna. If you love Krishna in any capacity, you shall never be frustrated because everything in Krishna is perfect, eternal, blissful, and full of knowledge.

My Dear Kancanbala dasi,
Please accept my blessings. I have duly received your letter (undated), and noted the contents very gladly. My sincere blessings are for you for your nice prosecution of Krishna Consciousness. Whatever you are doing at the present moment is approved by me and I think on account of your becoming a sincere soul, Krishna is dictating from within and you are doing things so nicely. There are two gurus–one internal and the other external. The internal Guru is Krishna Himself seated in everyone’s heart, and the external Guru is the Spiritual Master. So a sincere devotee is helped both externally and internally. To the sincere devotee the internal Guru Krishna dictates, but the thing has to be conformed by the external Guru then it is all right. I am very glad that you don’t go out, and keep indoors engaging yourself in Krishna Consciousness activities.
Regarding love affairs in the material world: they are only shadows or reflections of the real love with Krishna. If you love Krishna in any capacity, you shall never be frustrated because everything in Krishna is perfect, eternal, blissful, and full of knowledge. So continue your present activities and chant your beads; whenever there is some difficulty consult Brahmananda or write to me; and Krishna will help you more and more on the path of perfection. i fell in love with a man in whom i have seen and felt krishna. I lost everything 2 this man and i have nothing left in me except my infinite and boundless love fr him. He is my krishna and krishna is him. And krishna lives in my heart. Krishna krishna krishna is all i can think abt night and day.
i m jst 17 people say u r too small bt i know tat almighty n i love him he is in my every second n every activity.the feeling i have on seeing him,listening his bhajans give me eternal peace n i feel jst awesome, i know he wil come one day to take me away wid him away from this false matrix world, for me he is my kannu, i never pray to him bt he is there in my every heartbeat. I’ll tell u a story
whn i was 12 i fell in “atrraction” with a boy. I never talked him since i passed my twelth. He was my classmate. Suddenly he realized my atrraction for him. Though i love krishna but i m attracted towards him, even till this day. {I m sorry kannu, bt dont know y he atrracts me a lot}
One day he asked me n i accepted it as love. I m in addiction of this guy now. I cant stop talking him unitl he breaks contact wid me, its like he can go away frm me i cant n he doesnt allow me.
He doesnt love me, i know bt i m still atrracted n he pulls me towards this matrialistic world. Help me out
I love Krishna.
I feel happy 2 see many, loving krishna. But just 2 say in short my love, I want Krishna 2 be born as my son. Only a mother can show true love and affection 2wards her child, more than a lover, father, brother, sister, and anyone else.
it’s very good that u want krsna as ur son….. but I just want to be wid krsna in any relationship… I just want to feel krsna…I am waiting, when will my eyes be decorated with tears of love flowing constantly when I chant Your holy name? When will my voice choke up, and when will the hairs of my body stand on end at the recitation of Your name?

Saware Kanhaiya mera pyaar banke aaja….i love krishna and his love is immortal, all these mother, father, sister, brother, etc. relationships are only for some time, for who is born has to die, but love with krishna is immortal, this world is full of greed, hate, and every relationship built has at least some greed…i will never break my relationship with krishna becauz hes my only true friend and love…i talk to him and one day i m sure he ll talk back…all krishna bhakts keep ur faith in him, one day he will take us to his home and there we will serve him……love u kanha!
Dear devotees of Krishna,
I have come to a point in my life where I do not know where to turn to.
I am 19 now and have been in relationship with a young man for the past year. He is a devotee of Krishna but now says that he no longer feels close to Krishna any more. I have understanding of why he feels this way- we are trapped in material lust. My boyfriend is the one who opened my eyes to krishna conciousness, but now that our relationship is coming to an end I feel hurt, upset and lost.
Inside, I know I want to love Krishna and experience this happiness that devotees of Krishna experience. I want to be Krishna conscious but I am having trouble. I am non veg trying to give up meat, I stopped drinking and I do not smoke. Where do I start? can anyone please help me find my way in life so that I can take shelter of God.

The answer to all your worries is in surrender to Krishna. What Krishna is doing let him do. Always be his sincere servant. Being devoted to the Lord is no game. He examines everyone before extending His special mercy to them.
You can increase your boyfriend’s love for Krishna by talking to him about Krishna….about how beautifully he saved millions by holding Govardhan on his little finger( not even by using entire hand…thats how stylish he is!). Ask him to surrender to Krishna and tell him that Krishna will help him always.
Non-vegetarian food is a dead-body wrapped in spices. If you keep that in mind, you wont be able to consume it anymore. And to begin with, first try to read about Krishna’s life – how He was born, circumstances, His pastimes and mischeif atleast till he kills Kamsa. You can even find videos on the same. Try to know his earthly pastimes first. This will give u foundation and help you surrender to him, fix faith in him. Beware, He will examine ur faith multiple times…but never give up ur love for Him.
Then read about Prabhupad’s 4 regulative principles and try following them…they lead to Bhakti.Purchase a Photo of Krishna and Radharani and worship them. Chant His name attentively on neem mala to start with ( Hare Krsna Hare Krsna Krsna Krsna Hare Hare)…atleast once a day. Worship can be simple offering of flower to him with a candle or a lamp and tulasi and see in Him ur best friend.
Cook vegetarian food without onion,garlic and mushrooms and offer to lord by keeping tulasi on it…you can read on this issue later. Everything is his wish…even that Im writing to you and whatever u do afterwards. Hope u progress as His devotee.

Krishna a friend who has answer to every question in ur mind and a solution to every problem in our lyff.
i am confused.i am 23yrs of age.iam well groomed and have moral values and traditional/cultural sense.
yet at times i flet lonely.
as i was never friends with the males ..it sort of became hard.
so i started puuring out my love for everything to krsna and now i can say that iam in love with krishna..
he is the only maha-purusha who is my love, my life, my soul.
i bow down to my loving krishna.
now when ever i hang out with the boys i think of krishna and temptations goes out of the window.
no more temptation.
just pure love for krishna.
this material world is a miserable place.
so much pain, fake people, faces, anger, violence, hatred, destruction, pollution, crime, slaughterhouses, illicit sexual activities, and betrayal on every step.
so krishna, i pray that waht ever i decide in life, the choices i make, will only be to please you, my dear krishan and no one else.

it’s so wonderful for me to go through each and every comments here…i personally feel so happy to hear that everyone here is in a deep relation and has true love for Sri Krsna…i don’t say that i wasn’t attracted to anyone..i do,but i knew that it’s all because of Sri Krsna’s energy.So,i don’t get into material relationship…i love everyone around me,animals and plants…i personally feel that material love is not good,where it can cause someone to forget his/her duty to think of Sri Krsna all the time,forgets the time for devotional practice and it also pains your parent’s…whenever the taught of love comes into my mind,i go stand right before Sri Krsna and say”OH KANHA,do u think i would leave you and go???well,i don’t feel anyone here is so much attractive than you…so,please take my heart which beats for you only..by this,i feel really great….i know im very young to indulge in material love…im just 21 years old girl,studing in a institute and i do receive lots of love proposes from my place…but i can’t do anything for that…because i Love Krsna to the core of my heart…and i believe that He knows what is good for me and when to give me the best….i sincerely wish that Sri Krsna showers His love upon all the souls here…and please bless me that my love towards Sri Krsna increase more and more……and has no end for it….im happy to share my thoughts here..
